My favs: INFP vs ESTP (But eventually is an enemies to friends in the end after they punched each other to exhaustion and ESTP have mercy on INFPs life, when the INFP character was accepting his fate of death, later on ESTP "kidnap" INFP for some crazy shit in the end and some more adventures goes on). INFP vs INTP (They understand each other but INTP will always scream on how dumb INFP plans looks like, meanwhile INFP will hide secrets and be more smart than INTP realizes (since INTPs feels so sure about their intelligence) INFP will be a lot dumb too but lets forget that part-, INFP being the selfish villain who does shit to everyone around them, and don't perceive it, INFP thinks they are a victim, then INTP comes in and makes the INFP character notice all the shit they did in the end. INTP changes INFP for the better and helps with their dumb negative emotional loops and erroneously assumptions of situations and people.) ENFJ vs INTP (ENFJ is more traumatized by INTP than it lets on and tries to do everything for INTP to be away from them and others, ENFJ eventually ostracized INTP by INTP's lack of Fe and losing control of emotions into severe anger and breaking things, making people feel bad, hurting people... ESTP (Or ESTJ) vs ISFP (ESTP manipulation against ISFP for a cause she believes in, making ISFP do a lot of shit in the process that she doesn't realize until its late). ENFP vs ESTJ (Hates poor ESTJ with their life, ignores friends advices and in the end just sees how wrong they are at hating ESTJ character and having prejudice against their actions, ENFP character WAS THE VILLAIN ALL ALONG) (Probably not accurate to their types since i am terrible at MBTI).

I know an ENFP and an INTJ and they get along so well it leaves us all surprised. For real and deep relationships, it's not the behaviour that matters but the thought process and that makes these two get along so well. You are stereotyping and looking shallow if you are simply focusing on the behaviour and the trope 'opposites attract'.

I still don’t get why you should use mbti as a tool to create your characters when it’s just seems so limited and reductionist to your creative journey and development of your characters and story, I’m not gonna be here arguing about how much it lacks actual scientific evidence or whatever cause I’m here using astrology for a main character and even went as far as creating a natal chart but with astrology you get to have more freedom on how this character could be along with possible issues and struggles he’s gonna have on his life without actually giving you a concrete scenario, so I just would like to know why people would be more inclined to this model than others As for characters not being human well I guess that depends on the story and author, some perfectionists like Hayao Miyazaki really go all the way to ensure their characters are as human as possible but I guess that depends on how much sacrifice and effort one is willing to put in order to achieve that much reality into them

I am so glad to see Mel being typed as an INFJ. I felt like her being an ENTJ only makes sense if you look at things very surface level, and only pay attention to her more harsh choices. As much as I love loki, I do have to agree that I don't think he is an INFJ. I will say though, I have noticed that most INFJs actually relate to ENTPs in some manner, which would make sense why people would vote for him to be an INFJ. To back that up even further, I think people just put his as INFJ because he can be manipulative and he strikes when you least expect it. This gives him that "INFJ-like" mysteriousness that people get lost in. I am an INFJ and have found myself feeling very conflicted with Mel. I relate to her a ton, and she also makes me view myself differently. I found myself analyzing her every time she appeared on the screen, which was kind of funny because I can sense what she was thinking while doing it. All this to say, I must give props to the writers and animators for making her seem real enough for me to even feel that sort of interaction with a fictional character in the first place.

I just finally, after many years, nailed down my type as Te-Ni BS/C(P) FM Visual Tester Social 3 ENTJ in OPS. Only wavering on the gender of the functions a little. If you want to write a true ENTJ, think of the most normal person that you can think of. The fake ENTJs are pretentious. The real ones are just… normal. Good at school, good at managing, good at learning; bad at taking care of themselves, but tries to just enough to lead by example. That’s about it. No real frills. They miss the obvious sometimes, and sometimes can be hard on themselves. They might not know exactly who they are, but they do know who they aren’t. It is that process of eliminating the other possibilities of who others think they are while trying to meet the tribe’s demands efficiently that is the core of their being. They are what they do. They do what they are. They probably like cats and have an open door policy.

I would say almost all of this video is personal preference and bias. It may serve as a good guide on what is typically attractive in a male character from a female perspective, but trying to write a female character like this is going to turn off most men.

Sheldon Cooper is an ISTJ who is a victim of intuitive thinker bias. Si (Introverted Sensing) - "You're sitting in my spot." One of the things that made him unique compared to the rest of the cast was his chronic need for stability and familiarity. He values routine to an unhealthy extent that it becomes so detrimental at times to the gang. He is the living embodiment of "why fix what isn't broken" which is seen in the episode where he didn't want a dinner table as he's already grown attached to everyone sitting close to the couch. This is also seen in how much he dislikes how Penny has changed Leonard throughout the years as it disrupts their routine as roommates. He is also very hesitant to try new things like in the case with the Big Boy Burger when they tried out the Cheesecake Factory. Te (Extroverted Thinking) - "Will you two please inform Amy how much you enjoy adhering to a strict bathroom schedule?" Very present in Sheldon's love for schedules, lists, seating arrangements, or any kind of logic system that makes things efficient for everyone. In an effort to keep things stable and predictable, he would make it so that everyone would follow his systems with the most prominent example of this being Leonard. Leonard used to go to the bathroom whenever he felt like he needed to take a whizz and all that until he moved in with the crazy bastard that is Sheldon. This is also seen when Sheldon hates last second additions to an event or activity as he has to start over with making a system that is efficient for everyone. Fi Loop (Introverted Feeling) - "You need to go to the end of the line." Sheldon is a victim of his own black and white thinking. This is seen in the "rules are rules" part of his personality where even someone breaking the most minor of rules bothers him. He was sent into a Si-Fi loop when they were in line once and some random guy skipped ahead and joined his friends who were slightly in front of them. He also has this irrational fear of secrets wherein he feels compelled to tell it to the person who the secret is being kept from. He views keeping secrets as a form of lying as it involves withholding information from someone and he absolutely hates compromising his integrity. Ne Grip (Extroverted Intuition) - "Oh, please! Every time the topic of change comes up, you throw Zachary Quinto in my face." Sheldon fears the unpredictable and he tries very hard to keep things stable so that nothing could surprise him. He becomes childish when things do not go his way as seen in the episode where he has planned a tour for his mother's visit. In this episode, he didn't take into account that his mother might want to hang out with his friends and vice versa. So, what does he do? He rebels and acts in a childish manner where he ends up getting sick in the process. Sheldon also has a distasteful attitude towards trying new things as seen when Leonard slowly started to sleep over at Penny's. Although, the problem gets solved when he agrees to the concept of "Leonard Day". I also do not mean to vibe type but I am an INTJ and my dad is an ISTJ. He is a healthy example of an ISTJ which is the complete opposite of Sheldon but I see the same attitudes and thought processes that Sheldon has on my dad. There's also my dad ironically calling Sheldon's attachment to his spot as "childish" when he hates it when I sit on his spot at the dining table. Planning and dreading the thought of going out isn't purely an INTJ thing. ISTJs can make great planners and they can also be great intuitive thinkers as all MBTI types can use all cognitive functions. It's really just a matter of what we prefer to use on a day-to-day basis.

I know this was posted 2 years ago but recently as an ENTJ, I encountered probably one of the most accurate depictions of an ENTJ in a Korean TV Series called Pyramid Game. The Protagonist, Suji is smart, ambitious, resourceful but also charming, passionate, and persevering. At the beginning of the show shr could be seen as an immature ENTJ being completely selfish and only wanting to make sure she gets what she wants. But as the show progressed so did her character. She began to appreciate people not as assets but as actual living beings that are unique and deserve love no matter their social class or level of intelligence. Definitely a must-watch! (Especially since the main villain is typed as an INFJ!)

You just told the truth about the INFP's being a main character. This is also the reason why I am careful in writing an INFP character. They are easy to be common or to fail.
