@@reekill_playlistsVery rarely will you be asked to roll a d100 at least in specifically Dungeons and Dragons. There are other similar table top rpg’s that use them. Like “Call of Cthulhu”. But I do remember a specific item where there are 100 beans in a bag. And every number will make a different thing happen, good or bad. I guess a d100 is scary because of much could potentially happen? But if you ask me, you should be WAY more scared of the “Deck of Many Things”.
This is basically just wild magic whenever the DM damn well pleases to use it.

@@normalguycraig It's from the old campaign where narwhal was dm, they unlisted the series after he quit because they were never gonna finish it. If you google some stuff you should be able to find a playlist of it.
This makes so much more sense once you've watched the DnD campaign.

the whole video i've been imagining like an actual campaign, or like a potential campaign plot
so like, the fourth wall breaks entirely and have the DM actually be there. with the character sheets, dice, everything, and the heroes have to face him in order to stop all the terror that's been happening (cause there'd be no campaign without some sort of problem, right?).
at the end of the battle, the DM drops the dice. one of the party member picks it up, and the rest is history.
