Hey Jordan, just finished watching your lovely video about Hangzhou. Actually I spent my 4 years undergraduate college life at Hangzhou so it's like my 2nd hometown. Hangzhou is indeed a very special place to Chinese people, not just because of its natural beauty, but more for its rich history. Almost all of the famous poets in Chinese history had come to Hangzhou and wrote numerous invaluable great poems. In another sense, the west lake is not just a beautiful lake, but it's been an inspiration for generation to generation of Chinese people over the long historical river. In my opinion, you will have to stay there much longer so you can start to appreciate her beauty, under all kinds of weather condition (sunny, rainy, snowy etc). There is an old Chinese saying, above the sky you can find paradise, under the heaven you can find beautiful cities like Suzhou and Hangzhou. That's how important Hangzhou is to us. Hope you can have chance in future to visit Hangzhou again.

That is why the Ming Emperors made it their capital...Lovely weather and nice food there... Longjing tea is my favorite green tea...I bought many cans of fresh tea leaves home from a tea farmer in the Longjing Hill...I drink it everyday and I feel I am not aging much, lots of antioxidants...

It's one of the UNESCO world heritage site with over 100 history. It is the biggest hometown of ethnic Chinese and it demonstrate the immigration history of ethnic Chinese. The natural scenery is also very picturesque with green fields in summer and golden fields in autumn.

Hangzhou is indeed a very special place to Chinese people, not just because of its natural beauty, but more for its rich history. Almost all of the famous poets in Chinese history had come to Hangzhou and wrote numerous invaluable great poems. In another sense, the west lake is not just a beautiful lake, but it's been an inspiration for generation to generation of Chinese people over the long historical river. In my opinion, you will have to stay there much longer so you can start to appreciate her beauty, under all kinds of weather condition (sunny, rainy, snowy etc). There is an old Chinese saying, above the sky you can find paradise, under the heaven you can find beautiful cities like Suzhou and Hangzhou. That's how important Hangzhou is to us. Hope you can have chance in future to visit Hangzhou again.

It's one of the UNESCO world heritage site with over 100 history. It is the biggest hometown of ethnic Chinese and it demonstrate the immigration history of ethnic Chinese. The natural scenery is also very picturesque with green fields in summer and golden fields in autumn.
My wife is from Hangzhou, we have been to most of beautiful places in Hangzhou and nearby before we stayed in China, your movie brings us back to those beautiful days. Thanks.

Hangzhou is one of my favorite place so far after I had been traveled so many places and countries...I remembered I took bus with ¥1 to travel the 10 beautiful sceneries in Hangzhou Xihu in 2008...
ha ha, really long time ago, now that price is up to 2 or 3¥ right now，but if you come to those famous attraction, they were totally free, including museums

Thank you! I think the tea was green tea or maybe rose tea. There is milk tea in China, which is surprisingly similar to the chai in Pakistan, but also very different... it's hard to describe. No naan :(

Traditional Chinese Green tea. Chinese tea are always good to drink and much more expensive than normal tea such as Lipton.

Its a city of romance for all lovers and full of wonderful Chinese culture and tradition. Su-Shi, Du-Fu, and many of China's greatest poets had called the Hangzhou home. Love the city and friendly people! A must visit city for China, Period.
