Kinda reminds me of that one trap in fallout new vegas where there is a trapped door, one that disabled makes player see the chest, which takes all focus to miss the subtle wire trap. The moment when you open the chest and hear triggering the grenades is glorious.

This is the most emotional playthrough I have ever seen. This is a perfect viewing experience for those of us who played the game, but didn't "feel it" enough
That's perfect! I just played Outer Wilds and I had a huge amount of fun exploring everything but nothing was "emotional" for me, the story was more just functional enough to get me curious to want to see the places they were talking about.
Yeah this was great. It's definitely up there for me too, and I've seen a lot of playthroughs. If you want to see someone else get really emotional, I recommend watching BeccaBytes' playthrough. She made her own supercut but the full LP is also on her channel.

Yup, gabbro has 3 different “first visit” dialogues depending on when you first talk. Loop 1 there’s no mention of death, Loop 2 they say “died” and Loop 3+ they say “dying repeatedly” ::)

Never have I seen such a genuine connection and care for the Nomai by a player, and thus the fear of Strix not reaching the end of the quantum moon before removing the core was terrifying. I'm so glad he did in the end, now I subscribe to you both as I am invested in this playthrough.

I'm really glad he enjoyed this playthrough. I watched the first few full episodes of his playthrough, but got frustrated at the commenters telling him what to do better for the next one. He was reading and responding to comments, and tended to be too keen on just doing whatever commenters told him to instead of setting boundaries
I don't know what keeps pushing me to want to watch these supercuts of various RUclipsrs playing through Outer Wilds. I myself have played through the game numerous times now, thinking it might be my third most favorite game of all time. My guess is because this game is such a unique experience, beautiful, emotional, that I wish to see more and more people react to the game, that feeling of going through for the first time, feel it with them. All this to say that I love the work you are doing here, Eelis, putting these Supercuts together. Keep this up and I will continue to watch them. Heck, some I've even watched more than once, like SovietWomble's.

yeah I always think of the protagonist as being an anthropologist or sociologist. That would explain why they work with Hal so closely. (beyond just being besties.) We know that Feldspar is an explorer, Gabbro is a physicist of some sort, Riebeck is an archeologist, and chert is an astronomer, so the role of anthropologist is one that isn't technically held yet. Additionally, it'd make a lot of sense for someone studying the interactions between members of a civilization to be the first one equipped with a translator tool.

@dallama2616 We probably won't be getting the dlc supercut for a while. Because Stirx has finished the dlc but he hasnt done the ending yet. He will do the Final Episode on October 11th, so we can expect a supercut of the dlc and ending Some time after that
I don't know their nationality, but could be something North European. If so, the e is pronounced the same as the e in _end._ The e might be an elongated sound, similar to _ma'am_ as it's a double vowel. Double e's are usually hard for English speakers.

I think the ship log should mention the sphere of electricity, not the water. I literally can't tell from the projection pool that it's underwater.
