@@AsadAnjum Totally true. Why else would I watch "I made a new game every week" every week if there's not a new one that comes out every week.

My GOTY is Chants of Sennaar, it's a fucking genius puzzle-game with great art-style and story
Heard a lot about it, I have it on my wishlist and I'm hoping to get to it soon. 2024 is a little more relaxed in terms of releases I'm super invested in so hopefully I can get to some stuff I missed from 2023
Remnant 2. I never played Remnant, but the hype around 2 was so high, I gave it a shot. I got the WORST first biome (same as you). I was lost. Like LOST lost. Everything was cloudy/foggy and barren and all the enemies looked identical. The game was 4 hrs old so I had no walkthrough to refer to, plus it's procedurally generated, so at the time I had no idea if I could even consult a walkthrough. Finally I passed that and got stuck in a labyrinth with a bunch of cubes I couldn't beat (tried at least 50 times) and every time I bring players in to help, the boss is harder due to more players AND all the people I play with have no idea what's going on with that boss. I put the game down. Never to pick it up again.
It seems like RNG and difficulty really sways peoples opinions on this game hard. Seen a lot of extreme opinions both ways. Bummer because I really did love playing the first

Good for coccon but bomb rush cyberfunk and pizza tower deserved best indie
Also the game that i came back to the most , doom eternal , its still top 5 games ive ever played

Only played pizza tower of the bunch, woulda loved to see it win something but I've heard great things about cocoon, sea of stars and bomb rush so I'm not in the best place to say it should won over any of those. At the very least I think it wound up being super successful which is a good omen for the team
