For sure. But eventually in life, when you seem to always be caught up in drama, crises, conflicts, falling out with people, etc etc, one has to take a look in the mirror and realize they are the common denominator in all of these situations they find themselves in.
You can only allow for bad luck for so long before having to own up and say "maybe I'm the reason my life is always falling apart."
Naturally I don't know Sergio personally or know all the details of what goes on with him. But from what he presents publicly, he definitely reminds me of some people I know who always have an excuse or reason why X is happening or Y isn't working out etc
Sergio's biggest problem, challenge, obstacle... Is Sergio, himself. He's alpha and the Omega of all his issues. Until he can get rid of the chip on his shoulder, his victim mentality he'll NEVER achieve his full potential. He's a headcase . I wish him the best and I'm not trying to pick on him or troll him it's just how I see it. Been following him since he was with Gaspari and I have watched his floundering in his own created issues. I want to see him succeed, good luck to Sergio, I hope he finds his way and may God Bless him with clarity and self acceptance. Let's go Sergio! Get after it!

Middle East is not just UAE and Kuwait. You have countries like Egypt, Libya, Algeria, Maroco and many others have gyms and bodybuilding cultures for so many years (80s and 90s) and that is why we see many athletes from the region competing throughout the years

I met Sergio's dad, May of 1983. He was huge at 240 llbs! Junior is bigger still. I hope I get to see junior in person. I think Sergio Jr can win the Olympia.

I have to correct you on gyms in Dubai, bodybuilding was live and well in the 80's and 90's. The fist hardcore gym was opened in early 83 by the then legendary Syrian bodybuilder Kazim Yazbeck and what a fantastic gym it was!

Sergio quite simply isn’t mature, resilient or determined enough to break through. While he continues to bemoan losing to Clarida aka Giant Killer the lesson there is really how he loses to a guy 100+ lbs lighter exactly because that guy( Clarida) has the determination, maturity and resilience to get the best out of himself and then some! No excuses. Just puts his head down, doesn’t go around getting caught up in silly drama , complaining., blaming others like Sergio. Nothing in this interview and in another I saw recently with Sergio as a guest convinces me that he’ll channel these invaluable mental characteristics anytime soon. And for the GK reference,I don’t see him ever beating him in any show they both do. GK is rare, the real deal …Sergio is a loose mouth yapping sophomore by comparison.

I didn't get what he meant about Vince Taylor missing the O. Taylor did many Olympia's! Although I felt Vince's physique was underappreciated at the end of his career I remember one of his later ones he looks phenomenal and he didn't even crack the top 10. That's when they just started rewarding size over all else.
