When I went to a Charismatic prayer group after 10 years, I was told it was due to unforgiveness and bitterness of a person I had NO IDEA was a problem - I hardly even thought of them, in years. I went home, knelt and begged God to forgive me, bless the person with everything needed, and then I praised God. That was 12 years ago, and I haven't had one episode! Praise God for his loving discipline

It seems like "too quick a fix". The prayer is still valid and should be offered up as often as possible for any graces it does allow the souls.

In seeking intercession for anyone in Purgatory, especially family members, run to the communion of Saints. They are waiting to intercede on your behalf. As an innocent, I was reading about Blessed Solanus. I read of his many miraculous healings for those serking healing for lived ones. As I read, I distinctly remember thinking " I wish Blessed Solanus would heal my family members in Purgartory, edpecially those that have been forgotten and so in need of our prayers." No sooner had that thought was finished, I was given a vision of 7, yes, 7 ancestors of mine that had been jouneying for many hundreds of years. They were men and women is all I could comprehend. They appeared as shadow figures raising up from the depths of Purgatory, blackened by the fires of Purgatory. Those rose with their arms raised in Praise to Jesus for His Mercy. They had been released from their torment, healed enough to rise up and enter into their heavenly journey. Every time I bring this to mind in Thanksgiving, I am in tears, so humbled by so generous a gift. for my relatives. That is why I say, draw on the intercessions of Saints of old. They are waiting to asdist us in our needs. ❤🎉❤🎉❤

They are good and faithful Catholics but we found out this summer that their marriage is very rocky. He obsesses about the craziest most minor hurts that she has done going back 7 yrs. Things a normal person would have long forgiven and forgotten. It’s sick n toxic. Sigh, life is so hard! She is pregnant for no 3 in March n so badly wants a happy home. He already told his family he won’t be participating in their Christmas because he has “things to do” w/o even asking her what she wants. I will be surprised if he shows his face at our Christmas, he is a very unhappy man. I offered to pay for couples therapy, he refused, he would never seek medication either. Prayer is all we can do for them. Please pray for Katie and Stephen and their little family. I see satan’s attack on the family clearly! Jesus said in the Gospels that a person does NOT suffer from the sins of his/her parents and ancestors. He was crystal clear. Before we allow Jesus into an area of our lives, such as through unforgivemsess, we are in the same condition as the Jews before the coming of Jesus.
