I pray the chaplet for the souls in purgatory everyday 2 to 3 times before i go to bed.

Vatican 2 opened the Church to modernism. Now, most of the new or remodeled Catholic Churches look like a Protestant church. Stripped of everything Catholic! What an abomination.

The good Munson my catholic school in the 50’s and 60’s impressed on all of us offering up sufferings , rosaries, prayers and masses and communions for the’Poor souls in purgatory’ - that’s stayed with me my entire life.

We need to have masses said - especially GREGORIAN MASSES- for the souls in purgatory. Many think everyone goes straight to heaven!

My mother always taught us to visit our loved one’s graves and clean them. We went to Mexico for All Souls Day/De de Muertos as we usually do and this time I took my 16 year old to participate in the tradition. He was so shocked to see the joy and lively atmosphere in honoring the deceased. I always carry holy water in my purse so I make sure to have my mother sprinkle holy water on my grandmother’s grave. It’s reassuring to hear that the holy souls like the holy water. I also do Masses for my great aunt who was a devout Catholic. Her adult children were not practicing Catholics and did not call a priest for her last rites nor did she have Catholic funeral Mass. This really broke my heart so now I make sure to visit her grave 1-3x per year. I don’t think her children and grandchildren visit because my flowers are always there. I don’t think lit candles are allowed in the cemetery nowadays but I do see lots of solar lights

I live in Croatia and we truly take great care of graves..now I see that it is crucial to keep that tradition going...thank you for the info.😊

Obedience to the Church is Obedience to Jesus Christ, so if the Church allows reception of the Holy Eucharist in the hand, then this Obedience to the Church pleases God more than the pride of the laity who don't obey. JMJ

God would NEVER EVER TELL a parent to hit a child or enact violence against a child. This is not Biblical.

God is interested in our learning forgiveness and letting bitterness go. We look at our lives experiences as I have and have resented some of the evil which was done to me, which also drove me into the arms of Jesus. I have to see His Grace was always greater and let the unforgiveness go. So now I look at these things more as Christ’s permissive love as these drove me to Him. I am not Catholic, and find that some of Catholic teachings as unbiblical. I have met both hard hearted Catholics but also those who love Jesus like I do. No matter if we are Catholic or Protestant, we need to repent and to forgive and to love as Jesus taught us. I do consider prayer as a form of worship in that how can one hear me if they are not in the Trinity? The Bible does not teach prayer to saints but to be inspired by them and their devotion to our Lord Jesus. Our Lord and St. John the Baptist called us to repentance and to live holy lives. Penance is not repentance but we are called to cease from sin. It is not a church which saves, it is from the beginning and still is, that we receive Jesus and love others like He did and live our lives in service to Him and to others.

I think it would make sense to ask the souls in Purgatory about material things. They lived in this world, and now also have some perspective of the next.

1. the bible says that once you die, you can't come back. hebrews 9:27. 2. jesus said " I am the way, the truth, the life, no one comes to the father but by me. john 14:6. therefore catholicism is a false religion. 3. the devil comes as an angel of light to deceive people. 2 corinthians 11:14. the visions of mary are demonic or just made up. 4. people are never saved by works. ephesians 2:8-10. 5. everyone already knows what's right and wrong internally. romans 1 :18-20, romans 2: 14-16. 5. there is no purgatory. it was invented by the catholic church in 1274 in lyon. 6. transubstantiation was invented by the catholic church in 1215 at the 4th lateran council. 7. the office of pope was invented by the catholic church. there is nothing in the bible that says that the apostle peter had a successer. the only authority is the bible, not the made up nonsense of catholicism.

Happy Belated birthday. My daughter Leah also has her birthday on the the 12/Dec. She is 33. She doesn't know the blessing of the day she has been born on. I have told her many times.

If everyone said ,oh just one Rosery.catholic or any Religious people. Just one . The masons would be destroyed.

I can't stand when I see the events and talks held inside the church. Bands and their equipment put up in front of the altar. It is disrespectful. I won't attend any more functions that do that.
