Harbor House looks very nice...but that's quite the hike with all that luggage. How great the photographer recognized you! WOW - you could literally FEEL the EXCITEMENT stepping onto that big beautiful ship!! And Christine Duffy was right there waving at everyone as they came on board...LOVED IT!!!
You were one floor up from your regular cabin, right? Good quick thinking with the sunscreen, Sharon. Everyone forgets things every now and then, I always say that as long as I have the Passport (& vaccination record now) we are GOOD to GO!!
That BBQ made my mouth water! It was WONDERFUL to see you back on board a ship again...been waaaaaay too long!! 💕

One, if not the only, good thing to come from the COVID shutdown for those who have cruised a lot is it seem we will be able to experience that excitement we felt when we went on our first cruise.

Due to Covid, have yet to go on our first cruise, but I legit teared up as you entered the ship. ALL that staff are literally getting their lives back!

You can't beat Harbor House for location..walking to the port?? Heck yeah! But for the price and the rooms, that location is definitely what you're paying for. It was super cool getting up at 0dark30 and watching the ships come in when we stayed there..but again, it's all location. So fun watching you guys! Cruising coming back feels like the world getting back to normal for me. For us, covid started with our cancelled cruise back in March last year. I remember working while I was supposed to be on a cruise, being sad and mad every single day of it (I'm a nurse) and how dark, scary and sad the last year has been for our family. Seeing them start again is really emotional for me too, to say the least! Galveston is my favorite home port! I'm trying a new one in August though...Seattle to Alaska baby! 8/31, can't wait!

We slide ours under the bed..2 large and 2 carry-on usually fit ok.

Hello guys. You both look like you are having a ball! I will be going on my Royal Caribbean cruise in Christmas week
I am on the July 24th sailing, I CANNOT WAIT!!!
Stay as safe as possible and enjoy. We disembarked on March 8th 2020 from Carnival Horizon, the last ship allowed to dock back to shore after the US declared lockdown....Thank God no one on-board had the virus, so all was OK.
But we're still hesitant to even plan another cruise vacation, despite we are all vaccinated.
@@Bgbaby75 We were on the Horizon the same time. We cannot wait to cruise again in September. We followed all the protocol including getting vaccinated just so we can cruise again. But I respect everyone's decision about cruising. Everyone must do what is right for them.

They were ready, but remember there was no cruise before ours. They did not board by VIFP level for this cruise.

Right with you..we had 5 cancelled this last year..and refuse to vax to cruise..even wearing a mask is out..we live in Texas and I haven’t masked since first couple months of all this..We swapped over to All-inclusive since for now we dont have to vax or mask(aside from plan)

What amenities did the Harbor House give? Free breakfast, wifi etc?
Not much..yes to wifi, no breakfast..it was all about location.
Does Carnival provide the beach towels on board and in port?
Staying at Harbor House for my June Breeze Cruise. Would you recommend leaving car parked at Harbor House and walking? Worried about car safety.
The walk was easy, but as far as the car, we fly to TX, so unsure of the best option, but if HH has some security, might not be a bad idea!!!

We flew to Texas...no parking needed!!
