This was such a great group cruise! Watching this was a TREAT! Thank you again for ALL you did to bring us together, for the gift bags, all the organization and for being amazing friends!! We loved it SO MUCH!!

Used VeriFLY in Long Beach last week. I parked car in cruise lot, 5 min to check in, showed VeriFLY pass and I was directed to ship. Was on ship 15 min from when I locked my car in parking lot.

We will be on the Vista in 40 days. I was sorta hoping it will stay around 75% capacity...Our last cruise in December it was like 50% capacity and was so awesome to not worry about long lines for most stuff on the ship.
It was high because of it being the Sailabration cruise so may go back down a bit but with summer coming I think it will continue to go back up.

We were on the glory for the sailbration cruise, our dining room didn’t dance till the 3rd nite😭 but was a great time! Y’all always have a great time! Maybe next cruise I can sail with y’all!
We have been on ships that were less active in the MDR but the Vista sang and danced every night.....
This looks like fun! I have heard some not too nice stuff about Carnival but watching your videos makes me think we need to try it out 🙂
Carnival is great...It's the fun ship. All cruise lines have their good and bad.
Jamie, super job on showing the menu items, provides more impact in the video, maybe add some of the ship activities as a next pop up like the meals.

I can’t wait to be back on the vista. My first cruise was vista 12/2018 and I’m going back next March ‘23. 🛳
I always print my boarding passes out just in case, I also get a printed boarding pass when I fly. I have seen being at the gate and seen the system go down and those that just had it on their phone had to go back and get a paper pass. Better to be safe than sorry.
Yes you never know what can happen. We always like having paper copies as well.

Awesome! Looks like Fun times! Did they finally use the VeriFLY? or did you go through the same old process? I have 3 Carnival cruises booked and I filled out the VeriFly on all 3. Fred San Diego . Have a safe and fun cruise.
Some people's VeriFly worked in Galveston and some did not. We showed them our QR code but they still asked to see our documents, but some others in our group only had to show their QR code...So it's kind of hit and miss right now.

That would cost us double and we are all about saving money and taking more cruises....

I agree with the difference in the food. My first cruise was vista then we just went on the dream 12/2021 and the food did taste different. 🤷🏼♀️

I was on Breeze. I dont think all the Sailbration "hype" lived up to what was expected. The ship meet up was .... well not as expected. Did enjoy the cruise though. .
Yes we heard comments onboard about that as well. But yes it was still fun.

We have the last couple years although we ended up not purchasing it on this cruise.
Oh, is that standard for most cruise lines that drink pkg doesn't start til 2nd day?
It's a Texas thing with Carnival, also happens in New York with Carnival. Each cruise line has some different rules in those 2 states due to unique liquor laws.

No the cruise director was Savannah. She was 100 times better than Kyndall in my opinion. Loved Savannah. I'm not sure about the comedy director. We didn't have a chance to see any comedy shows while on the ship this time.
Savannah was the CD for this cruise..she was awesome!!
Kendall has been on vacation so Savannah has been on the Vista in the meantime. I think Kendall will be back on the Vista in a couple of months again.
Lol no hate mail here! I wish my husband wasn’t so “helpful” when we unpack lol. Love your channel and hope my channel gets as successful as yours one day. We were on the Carnival Sunrise for Sailabration totally different experience than Vista but still so fun.

Why does the drink package not work until the 2nd day when leaving out of Texas?
Texas has some unique liquor laws, as well as New York. Carnival's package doesn't kick in till day 2, other cruise lines packages have limited selections until day 2.
Do they keep COVID vaccine cards on file until your cruise is over or do you just show them?
We just show them during check-in..
How full was your cruise?
It felt like 100% but was probably 95% or a little more. They have to save a few empty cabins for anyone that gets sick on the cruise...
Why does the drink package not start until the second day at 6 AM? Is that a Texas thing or a carnival thing? I ask because I am going to be booking a royal Caribbean cruise out of Texas and I’d love to know the answer. Thanks for your help guys
Texas and New Tork have certain liquor laws. Carnival chooses to wait until day 2 for drink package, Royal starts day 1 with limited selection of alcohol provided by local distributers.

Hi! Please help! I am going on this exact cruise leaving 3/26. For the COVID test, does it have to be within 48 hours before the ships departure time or within 2 days. My COVID test is at 12pm tomorrow 3/24 and put ship departs on 3/26 at 4pm. Do you know if this will be okay or cause problems?
2 days before should be fine. That's what we did...

LOL....Well he has his own agenda when getting onboard (meeting new kids)....But he does hang out with us at times, usually breakfast & dinner and port days....

I’d still wear my mask even though I’m vaccinated too many ppl are getting sick still on ships
