As a lover of green rocks, your daughter is going to love them, even the dull polished ones look great ❤ I just checked on my tumblers in the garage and they were frozen solid 😂 oops, time to move them indoors 🤦♂️ great video!
Yes, thank you!! Loooove green rocks, too!! OMG, that's crazy your tumblers are frozen. Were the machines still running and barrels rolling? Stay warm!! 😁👍🏻🪨⛏️
HOWDY! 👋🏻 Yes, they look EXTRA shiny when still wet, as shown in the thumbnail. I WISH they were shiny that quickly. I hope you don't think I misled you. They did polish up nicely after all stages were done, except for a very small amount that were stubborn! TUMBLE ON!! 😁👍🏻🪨💦
@@CacklingChick No, you didn't mislead me. I wasn't thinking about how wet they were. I did an experiment and after the 4th stage, I put in 2 tablespoons of Borax, into a 3 lb. tumbler. I let it run for 4 days. I couldn't believe how shiny the rocks came out! I'll be adding the Borax run to all my tumbles.
You're right about Borax! I've also used it right before the polish stage. Thanks for the tip to use it after polishing for extra shine. Love it!! TUMBLE ON!! 😁👍🏻🪨💦
Howdy, Dennis! 👋🏻 I do, for those very reasons. I did it with the wannabe obsidian, which turned out to be mostly basalt. Really helps a lot. Do you use ceramic media or just playing around with it? Tumbling definitely has a learning curve with so many variables from rock hardness to the preferred final look. TUMBLE ON!! 😁👍🏻🪨⛏️
I polished them because I think rocks are prettier when they have that wet look. The end pocess is when they are polished, which is stage 4 of the rock tumbling process. Does that help?
Hello there! All rock tumblers are made to run continuously. Most feel hot to the touch, like my Lortone 33Bs, but that's normal. The only time they stop is when a tumbling stage is done, which is usually a minimum of 7 days. Let me know if you have more questions! Happy to help! TUMBLE ON! 😃👍🏻🪨💦

They will look good in the aquarium, that's for sure
Thank you! My daughter was happy to get them. 🥰

W❤W! That’s Incredibly Awesome! 🤗❤️✨
Thank so much, Juan!! 😁👍🏻🪨⛏️
How in the world did you get the rocks so shiny on the first tumble???? Was it because they were still wet when you showed them to us??

Do you ever use the ceramic filler to even out loads and add extra cushion for the tumble ?

Hello why you polished this stones what is end of this process?

How many hours does the engine run continuously? Do you provide breaks? Thanks
