I'm a huge fan of the Pen series - I'm glad that series is finally getting it's flowers. Got my E-PL8 for clearance (200 dollars) and I still use it to this day. Crazy how they're all spiking in price
Everything that comes up has to come down. I saw that with analogue synths for 10 years, when the hype starts, most sellers get stuck with the cost when they raise prices because artificial trends never work. But they do it according to the motto: Every day a fool gets up, you just have to find them.
Have you had a chance to compare the EP1 with some of the later models ? Anything from the EP3 to EP7 ? How do the flaws you mentioned here improve (or not) Great shots btw !
hell yea secondhand market, decade old m4/3 cameras go crazy my old lumix has kept me from caring to upgrade my cell from a bottom line shitphone because even if I forked out 500usd+ I'd still prefer photos from the lumix... unless you're an iPhone snob, there's no excuse not to go and snipe an m4/3 while they're still this cheap

Your images look really nice, were they developed RAW images or unedited JPGs?
Some were out of camera shots, some were edited RAWs, but I tried to edit them based on how they looked on the LCD of the EP1
OLYMPUS lost the jewel colors of these jpgs in later models …. when it hits it really hits … those reds

Bought mine when it was first released, and my IBIS is dead too. Never a problem especially if you're shooting during daytime.
