So glad to see you guys finally make it to the Brickmania Miramar location! Ive been waiting along time to see the Makin Island in more detail. I hope visit one day and see my Plank Owner tile in person! Keep up the great work you guys.
@@rcsmit You're generally paying a premium for new condition pieces in large quantity for things not directly in lego's inventory. Plus all the shipping costs, design time, paying employees, value of space and time sorting. This probably represents closer to the 250k mark.
What also impresses me is how LEGO can withstand the weight of itself even when it gets THIS BIG. I believe no other materials are used in this build other than LEGO pieces
I went to basic at RTC San Diego. Then BEEP at NTC San Diego as well as STG “A” & STG “C” school at FLEASWTRACENPAC. I wish I could have seen this in the mid 80’s…time machine I guess. Great job! Also, aren’t the Super Stallions being replaced King Stallions?
They should merse it in epoxy resin so that it is forever encapsulated in that resin It looked beautiful be a great table What a conversation starter look great in anybody's office It was a big military buff
Generally sets (even MOC set) are ~10 cents per piece... So ~$100k would make sense. Especially since so many pieces are grays which are usually a little pricier.
I don't think that all pieces are from Lego because i see some bricks that doesn't excist in Lego. Even the airplanes if you see at it and you look for those bricks. Then you will see it's not possible to find those in Lego.

If the hovercraft costs $3k you can only imagine how much the whole Makin Island would cost as a kit.
I think Lego costs mostly USD 0,10 per piece so 100.000 dollar...
Now imagine the printed instructions...

Those details are tremendously amazing 🔥
I've always wanted to see a live scale size of the Yorktown class or the Lexington class carrier
There's a real ione in Corpus Christi, TX.
@@danielebrparish4271 There sadly isn't. That's an Essex class, and not looking as it did in WW2. There are no Yorktowns or Lexingtons left.
@@noneofyourbusiness9489the USS Yorktown CV-10 is located in Mt. Pleasant, SC.
Soooo sick! I go here all the time, the shop & ship are incredible

Guys l don’t think blown away is a big enough word to describe this reproduction of the real thing! 👍
When I grew up in the 60's they sure didn't have lego like that. Back then they only had the Legos you stepped on in the middle of the night.
I'm gonna need to get the plans for those 53s so I can build one for my office!
I know a few people currently on the Makin Island, this is really cool ☺️

OMG that is the most amazing build I have ever seen congratulations on such a beautiful Ship I hope to someday be able to see it in real life😍😍😎
Lego life goals

No, Brickmania kits are made with 100% authentic LEGO elements.
@@BeyondtheBrick so are the mini figs Lego with new print and are the guns a similar quality to Lego?
How much do I have to pay to buy that?

a minifig scale carrier :S:S
Too bad I will not step foot in Cali again
Retail wise to build this would cost 100k
Wow Lego I saw 👀 Years ago Some one Build 😳 U.S.S.NIMITZ CVN-68 Model 27 Feet Wasn't Legos
so......when we gonna get a Nimitz? lol :3
Kai jumping from the front of the carrier...
Really great stuff man but non of those helicopters would be able to take off
…and the figures of the personnel have big heads…it’s a model…what’s your point? And Evil Knievel wouldn’t be jumping during flight operations…idiot
A balloon animal making clown for the marines seems fitting ngl. Add a crayon store aswell

The only things that aren’t LEGO on this are some of the helmets and weapons the minifigs are holding. The rest is 100% LEGO bro
Imagine if they made this a lego set
Just piles on piles of bags
Costs 700,000 million dollars
I think it's cute that he thinks that weighs even as much as a single car. lol! I am sure that thing is heavy as heck but...not THAT heavy.
Huh I was on the makin, did you put the dis fictional relationship between the crew and the marines on the ship
How do you know that is on there? Wikipedia son
The question is… is she sea worthy? Why not build a second one to see if she could be tested on the waters?
Yeah it’s way too heavy and it’s not hollow
@@nolankahler6705 aw thats a bummer
