@@brickstep8424 Right, what a nightmare. You have to pack up, most need to be taken apart, bubble wrapped, ziplocked, parts falling off when taking things apart, etc. I wish him luck and hopefully he has a ton of help. No way one guy can do this. This would take a month full time to have it all packed up properly.

I feel like it’s impossible to be a completionist collector like this guy and also keep everything displayed nice and tidy. He seems like a great guy and enjoys what he does
Yeah, it's like a museum. You can't display everything, especially if you want to get in your moc's too on display. Like you have to rotate the collection. Keep the best and favorite sets in a display case, stuff on the shelves group together your faves then rotate old ones for new exciting kits coming out, etc. He'd need like easily a dedicated space of like 2500 sq. feet at least. No living, only a bare 2500+ sq ft space to at least have most of the collection shown properly.
8,200 sets and 15,000 Minifigs? That's practically a LEGO metropolis you've got there! As much as I marvel at the collection, it makes me wonder about the skyscraper of plastic involved. Truly a build of epic proportions, in more ways than one!
About time ma man Chris gets featured! GUINNESS WHERE U AT? Was low key expecting Joshua to stumble while going down the stairs backwards just as a joke to give Chris a jump lol
wow seeing those bionicle masks is so nostalgic for me. they were so much fun to play with, love the moveable arms and legs unlike the classic mini figs. and the masks were so cool looking
Wow.. what a collection.. I love it.. This 8200 sets dwarfs my collection that I've had in the past (2002-2006) before I sold off half of it. My collection at its peak barely topped 1000+.. but I only collected classic legos from 1979 - 1998 and mostly city and space. Maybe one day If I ever get a bigger house and a huge room just for lego, I would love to build a huge collection room like I see on some lego channels with a huge city build.
Super impressive collection and knowledge of LEGO, but I think it’s time to move the collection to a larger space, or tear some down into storage. Let those sets breathe so you can tell what you’re displaying.
When he said “actually Bionicle” I was sold. Bro is a true OG. Bionicle is still one of my favorite to this day and I may have spent a dumb amount this year on having the original 7 Toa Nuvas into my collection 😅
That is an absolutely amazing collection. I can't imagine how much work it will be to move everything into another building one day. Also congrats on winning Lego Masters.
An amazing collection. Duck is a class act and now I know who I shooting for to have the largest mini fig collection as I’m ranked number 268 out of the hundreds of thousands on brick set . I have a lot of work to do to surpass that 15k mini figs as I’m up to 9300 . Great video as always guys
The fact that he has ALL of these lego sets is SUPER cool. That is a dream of mine to have a MASSIVE lego collection like that.,but It must be annoying having to dust them ALL. Actually, I'm gonna ignore the negatives and focus on the positives of have a massive lego collection.
But then it would be hard to sleep at night with such a gigantic collection that anything could happen to, what about if something falls/breaks/damaged in the middle of the night, a fire, or being publicised a chance of being nicked. Best be safe and have top-level insurance that covers him and the house and the Lego to be failsafe. The bigger the Lego collection the more at least some of these issues become apparent. You could risk it all without insurance/measures to limit risk but with such a gigantic collection you can never be too careful as there have been cases where someone shows Lego in a shed/house only to get it nicked by a probable rouge viewer. Still apart from that you virtually have a working record of almost all Lego sets in recent/some past history.
Cool video. I once back in July of 2000 got to display 3 of my custom Lego builds at Legoland in California for 2 days. It was a head bust of Optimus Prime and 2 different Autobot insignias. Since then I’ve added Lego LEDS and Fiber Optic bricks to light up the eyes and a much more massive bust down to Optimus’s thighs and shoulders down to the elbows. The chest can even open up and one day I hope to build the Autobot Matrix Of Leadership to go inside of his chest.
This is so cool, I really would love to sort and organize all those lose bricks for him to make mocs, let me know when the museum is getting started, would love to help curate and sort the collection
Very nice and impressive, but it is not possible to appreciate anything in detail because of how crowded it is. I'm just wondering how to clean it all up. If with little I feel exhausted from cleaning, I can't imagine this.
Lego Bionicles is the reason I started like Legos when I was just 10 years old. I'm so glad that I still have 🎮Lego Bionicles Heroes video game🎮 for Gameboy Advance SP.
That's been my question for the big lego collectors. How do they manage the dust as the collection grows and grows. For kits not in sealed display cases. Sounds like such a chore. My 2000 set collection, half on display is like every-year I gotta go in and dust and never get all of it.
I would have no issue sorting the excess bricks. It would keep me busy for hours on end. I've started thinking of so many different ways to store them.
Chris either needs no sleep or he has discovered the secrets of time dilation, as there's no other explanation as to how he fits his life into 24 hour days! 😱

Well now, this is taking the term "completionist" to a whole new level. It's an impressive collection no doubt, but at some point it just starts to look like clutter...
Well technically nobody ever *most likely but not impossible* will never have a complete Lego collection of all Lego sets because you would have to beat Lego own internal archive of all sets ever made and even they have a near complete record but you will have to get every set made even special ones sent to reviewers/prize giveaways and also the one of a kind minifigures etc... You could get close but never 100% complete due to some sets/items being only a handfull made.
