Allen seems like the coolest guy. Such creative builds. That Aladdin build blew me away! And the sick brick is too funny. He’s truly an artist with the bricks!
Thanks Josh, John and Boone for the awesome Video! Thanks for your support of the AFOL community! It was great to meet you guys at Brickworld Chicago 2019.
BOOOOONEEEE! So I literally just watched and found out about lego masters a week ago which has inspired me to get back into lego's along w "Beyond the bricks" content and want to give a huge shout out to both of you for spreading these wonderful mind-blowing builds. The level of creativity these days is truly impressive and cant wait to get my hands on some lego's. Also just want to share, I totally Think Boone and Mark should have won BM. Glad to see he's on youtube. Much love Josh and appreciate the content! Cheers my GUY
It's awesome to see so many great imaginations...can't wait till I can finally go to one of these shows...I'm 32 and I'm more into lego now than ever...LONG LIVE LEGO!!!
Yay.... My complete brick built mechanical GBC ball counter made it in for a whopping second at 1:03:52. The blue module over Joshua's right shoulder. I loved being at my first LEGO convention. It was great meeting everyone.
"Fort legoredo from like 2000 years ago" lol Whenever I see an old lego set I show my mom and say " this ancient artifact is centuries old, around the time cavemen started to make plastic bricks"
The builds are great and I can only imagine the amount of time it takes to design and build, but the amount of money those would cost to build is insane!
Either Josh or Boone should operate the camera because the camera for ALL of these walkthroughs, the camera person often isn't looking at what they are talking about.
Love your self-depricating humor Jaabo. I have hit my head so many times I have forgotten how many. I laugh at myself for all my dumb mistakes. The 10193 is an awesome set to build. It brought me out of a 13 year dark age. Was so excited to build it I tore the box right open, no regard for the box. As always, sold it used to pay bills. Thankfully never had the brittle brick issue. The tree is fragile though, always fall apart, not very stable. I ordered 2 new sealed 10256 Taj Mahal's on Bricklink recently from Europe. Seller was awesome, price was right, sadly US Customs shredded the boxes with a box cutter. I only wanted 1 for an investment, ended up with 3, two damaged. Gave one to a kid with stage 4 cancer though, so it happened for a reason I suppose. I see so many sellers advertizing the 10189 Taj Mahal, when they are actually selling the 10256. Same set, different box, but very different values if sealed. Hopefully the 10256 sells for $10,000 in a few years, but somehow I think that I missed that boat long ago. Who paid that for the 10189? That is insane. Someone had money to just throw around apparently, not me, haha! I will pay a premium if I really want something, but some of these prices are ridiculous. I won't resort to Lepin style knockoffs, but I am not paying $10,000 for a Taj Mahal either! Lol!
I'd love to attend this event someday. I just feel like it could be organized better, it just seems like everything is just randomly placed next to other builds. Why not have one section for Star wars, one section for space themes, one section for mosaics, one section for architecture, etc... And organize builds by size, small to big. It just seems like a big mess.
I went there it was my first big lego convention and my jaw didnt work because it was open the whole time and my checks on my face were sore for a few days after because I just couldnt stil smiling and laughing and having fun.
@@BeyondtheBrick is that the same builder of the large trolley in this video? it looks like he might be a different guy. Thanks for replying to me so quick though!!
@@BeyondtheBrick the trolley is at 1hr25mins if you need to see it again. Best Mr Rogers trolley MOC yet - even after Google searches. I'd love to write him and see if he has instructions anywhere for this to download or purchase. I've been working on this model since I saw this video the other night. Thanks again!

Thanks for the feedback, but adding hundreds of builder names and social media profiles would take hours of editing time. It's simply not something we can spend time doing.
Ive tried so hard for over an hour now to figure out the creator of "S is for Sally Ride" at 5:45 but he goes so fast and doesn't show the artist cards. Its driving me crazy.
I WAS IN CHICAGO A FEW WEEKS AGO BUT VERY SADLY WASN’T BLE TO MAKE IT, AND I WENT TO ANOTHER CONVENTION IN THE SAME McCORMICK PLACE IN CHICAGO!!! I’M NOWFRUSTRAYED 🤯🤯😡😡😠😠😤😤😭😭😢😢
