If you have married sims that climbed the mountain together, you can choose the "Renew vows with [spouse name]" interaction with them and it would give notification as if they're getting married again. It will give the "No Mountain High Enough for This Love" sentiment. Just need to put an arch on the peak..

every time i try to do the social event, it doesn’t let me play as that sim anymore. it’s really frustrating.
EDIT!!!! i asked the sims 4 reddit page for help, and this is a bug many people are having at the moment. we just have to sit tight and wait for EA to patch it.

@@SimsCommunity thanks, as recently tried out the rock climbing from fitness stuff equipment. So excited it's linked to the actual rock climbing at Mt Komorebi.
am i the only one finding it extremely hard to level up in rock climbing? i mean they’ll be climbing and reading all day and the skill will go up by like 30% only
My place event while trying to star the mountain event. It says generic place, and a llama shows up, like a broken link. It wont work.

I know this is about game play but I love the woman's pink winter suite, one of my favorite things about snowboarding was being able to wear bright patterns, you had to standout against the snow but I just loved it!!
My sim won't ride to the top of the mountain. They just do that thing when they wave and the footprints come up in a little bubble above their head but with an added red thing. It's ridiculously annoying as it's stopping me from doing the excursion and hiking! Any ideas why it may be doing this? I've repaired the game, removed all mods and nothing is working.
I can’t wait for my sims to do the mountain excursion. I’ve not had too much chance to place snowy escape so just been building up the rock climbing skill.
i know gloves is new in CAS , can i have them in different colors , and if so , will the blue default climbing gear gloves overtake the other gloves? (hard question i know) i dont rly wanna have a cool colored clothes and put on climbing gear only to have blue gloves with clothes with different color scheme.

I wish I could play this. EA hasn't fixed the Mountain Excursion event. Does not work at all for many players.
There is a mod that lets u go to hidden venues, use that and u can go to the mountain excursion without the event

Focused is the emotion that increases Rock Climbing skill, Energized is the emotion that increases Snowboarding skill. Having a good Fitness level helps your learning curve in all three of the new skills, including Skiing. I did not read it anywhere, but I believe having a decent logic skill also helps accelerate Rock Climbing skill advancement. The game developers have pretty much set it up so that all skills that are increased by the Focused mood are all helped by higher Logic levels, as Logic is the stepping stone to all of these.
So uhmm... i did something dumb i clicked on something that said “frozen ground” bc it sounded fun but now i cant make snow angels anymore bc theres to much “ice” on the ground and its “ frozen” How do it put it away??

My game doesn’t have the rock climbing gear option in order on the computer.. I can’t figure out why.. please help?
mine wasn't showing up because it was conflicting with KawaiiStacie's Education System mod! once i took it out the adventure gear showed up!

Thank you! How do you think, is it possible to a sim with no Rock Climbing skill reach the mountain top? Or what skill level is minimum for success?
From what I saw in the stream you do need to have a decent rock climbing skill to successfully climb the walls. But other factors tie into it as well apparently. Like if you dust your hands, are injured or not, etc.
Lady Rice Thank you! I’m just curious if it is possible to start the excursion on lvl 3 or even less of climbing and successfully level up during the event and reach the top at last. How do you think?
@@marginreg6979 hmm... I think you could *start* it at level 3. But when you get about halfway I'm going to guess the difficulty would increase and maybe a increase the risk of failure. That last big wall looked like it might be a level 7 or higher climbing skill.

Hi, can someone tell how to save my entire sims families and the full game? I'm getting a new pc so I want to save what I have without restarting again

@Kelly J You can upload all your houses and families to the gallery, and then just place them all down when you redownload, but I recommend getting a flash drive and saving all your tray and save files onto it. When you follow the file path Documents->Electronic Arts->The Sims 4->Saves, those files are all your save games. Copy that folder to the flash drive. Then, once you've uploaded all your lots and households to your library in game, follow the file path Documents->Electronic Arts->The Sims 4->Tray, and copy the folder to the flash drive.
Once you've redownloaded the Sims, place the two folders in The Sims 4 folder. Voila! All your saves and creations are ready and waiting for you in game.
