You said that this has two subwoofers in it and I know the script says so but you know they are woofers not subs. You mention it later. You say it can go 20 hrs on a charge but fail to mention this is with bass off. This is the problem with simply reading out the script.

FYI I've been watching his videos for years as a subscriber and how would you mistake this for a review? He says at the start it's sponsored so I know like any normal person that this a paid gig and to take it with a pinch of salt. Besides I have many soundcore products all of them are great no issues so I watched this.

If I had no integrity I would do as many others do, say nothing call it a review even (I haven't) Oh soyou're one of Alan Rosses little fanboys doing his bidding. Boombox 3 sounds much better. Soundcore has way too much upper bass making it sound boomy.

this industry needs some first principle thinking. consider that most of these powerful bass speakers are not stereo but still employ dual speaker design. it would make more sense to design these as a subwoofer to achieve deeper/more powerful bass then add small speakers/tweeters as desired.

It’s a good speaker, but not for $249.99. There’s a few other speakers on the market that perform better for less. $179.99 - $199.99 would be more appropriate.
Can you turn those lights off, I didn't see anywhere in the settings?
Yes I keep it off myself and it's a simple just hold the lighting button down and the lights go off.

That's not good. Yeah this is a sponsored video which is what they were after but I don't get why they wouldn't want proper reviews as their products are good and this sound fake.

Soundcore even wanted me to delete a video being honest since i declined that they only send earbuds/headphones because yeah you can't record there audio so less issue to showcase bad side of it
@@techderaudios Overall I still think they are a decent brand to buy but something in the company changed right around the time the Motion Boom Plus came out. And this thing they do now where they send out a script and demands with review units is disgusting. The script itself is actually comedic it is so bad.
Luckily most respectable channels mostly ignore it.
Why don't they use the Bluetooth codec APT X HD or better yet LDAC or LOSSLESS Bluetooth? They are using SBC which is the worst to use only 320kbp/s witch is a VERRY LOSSY. So, this speaker wont sound any better than a MP3 at 320kbp/s. All you're ever going to get out of this is MP3 quality which is GARBAGE. Don't expext anywheres near CD quality sound from this it's IMPOSSIBLE with verry lossy compression that this unit does on the Bluetooth signal path.
My guess is they don’t think it’s needed for a loudspeaker? But I agree LDAC would be nice with its 900+ kbps bitrate.

I like this channel but man I have to admit these kind of videos are cringe. If you need the money I guess, but the every single one of these ads are exactly the same as the other one... Lot of them have identical thumbnails and a suspicious amount. Have people throwing their thing in the pool. For every product this company comes out, there will literally a hundred paid RUclips ads or more... It's impossible practically, to find anyone that has not been sponsored that has reviewed these products
At some point if you care about an educated consumer, we have to start and saying no to these companies. They can't buy off every RUclipsr or nobody is there to tell the truth.
Not blaming you in particular or anything. It's a system-wide tread but at this point soundcore is not trustworthy. Because if you literally have to buy off every single tech RUclipsr so there's no chance for anyone to give an honest review then what does that say about your product?
And if you're putting that much money in the advertising then how come it's not going into the product itself?
They're worse than raycon at this point with the advertising.
How are their products?
The reviews here are genuine when you buy the products yourself and I have watched enough of them to know the issues you have had with Xiaomi in the past with critism of their products.
Great that you put at beginning of video you it's sponsored by soundcore. Then I wouldn't consider this a review, rather than a promo as you make more cash out of accepting their terms & how many weblinks are clicked. This is fair enough but your audience that maybe only watch & trust your reviews, expect them to be genuine not favourable towards the company that dished out free review units and basically told you how to review it.
@alanrossreviews is specialised reviewer of Bluetooth speakers and you shouldn't disrespect this, he had opportunity to take the same deal as everyone else got but chose not to as he wants to give his own opinion, reveal the marketing bullshit used and not be controlled what to say by the manufacturer t&c's.
This is where you choose to stay true to your audience reviewing with your own opinion or decide to shill/promote, doing both isn't good as it is confusing when you are being genuine or not. Lose the trust, then you will lose your audience.
That looks far cleaner and maybe even better than its predecessor. Quite possibly a JBL Boombox alternative or maybe even a killer
Not a Boom Box "killer" but it sure is a decent alternative with the discount code. It also is a lot lighter and smaller than the JBL which would be important if you take it on a flight in checked luggage.
It’s a great alternative for less.
