Alright imma have to call foul. Chuffing? Chuffing can only occur when the speaker is ported. This isn't a ported speaker. It's a sealed box with passive radiators. You might hear the radiators distort, may e that's what you're hearing?
I use the term strictly as an adjective, like chuffing of a steam train. It's not distortion or rattling either and the noise is centered on the 4 drivers. The radiators are great with no problems whatsoever.
I have a Soundcore Motion+ (also a smaller ANKER BT speaker for other situations, which I still use a lot). When I'm outside working or walking I tend to use one of 5 different earbuds. Soundcore did send me intro offer for this speaker, but I'm not really that kind of user, If I was, I might look at the bug JBL instead.
Love the outdoor format and the review. I live on the Northern California coast pretty much the opposite of you it's beautiful where you are and here as well. Thank you for the awesome work and you had me laughing as well. A good way to start the day. 💯🔥🔥🇺🇸
