I just bought the extreme 4 resealed for 200$ and 320 for 500$ 2 months ago, the best feature is that now i have 2 battery's for the one i carry with me and auracast that i can connect them together , even my clip5😊. Oh and the 320 , i keep it only pluged in without the battery inside.
JBL remove the 3.5 audio jack because usb-C can cover it all. Either for charging or aux. Simply press Play+Bluetooth (hold until the speaker restart), then it goes to AUX mode.
I would go with the Boom 2 Plus, although it still has problems. The Xtreme 4 isn't that much of an upgrade sound-wise from the 3, which sounds pretty weak in comparison to the Boom 2 Plus, but it does have the benefits of being a premium speaker. I don't have the Boom 2 yet, but what I do know is that two of them blow away the Xtreme 4 in custom EQ. By the way, I have no idea how you estimated the battery life on the Boom 2 Plus to be around 6 hours. I was able to get 3 hours and 13 minutes with the volume set between 70% and 86% and 1 hour and 48 minutes at maximum volume with custom EQ and the light brightness set to max.
Jbl has become way too overpriced i recently switched from a xtreme 3 to motion boom plus and it easily outperformed it and the xtreme 4 and i got it for only 100 bucks i will probably never get a jbl speaker again its just not worth for me
@@TheAscendedTechNinja The problem is that the flip is overpriced now that the Sony Ult 1 is out. They need to drop the price to make it more competitive.
Hello Gymcaddy i have a question, if i eq the xtreme 4 for more bass in the app does it match the boom 2 in warmness or lower range ? or in other words...does it improve the bass that much? and btw... great video!
Soundcore Boom 2 Plus have way much better sound like extreme 4 if you adjust the equalizer in his app. Not to talk about that i buy it with 171 euro. Extreme 4 its more than 300 euro and half of bass and loudness.Outside the Boom 2 Plus louder then a Boombox 3.
For the price of the JBL Extream 4 you could get the JBL partybox 120 it has removable battery and its supported by auracast i personally dont like the Extream 4 the weird bump in the bottom its just not worth for the price for those JBL fanboys don't argue with me this is my opinion and for only 10 more bucks i would get it than the Extream 4 it will get a mile louder much more bass much more complete sound as i would say if you get bigger speaker the sound will get fuller too so i can recommend you the JBL partybox club 120 JBL partybox club 120 (price 390$) Or JBL Extream 4 (price 380$) This price is from amazon 10 more bucks u would go with the JBL partybox club 120
The Boom2Plus is a good speaker, but it’s a little overpriced at $249.99. The budget Bluetooth speaker market is very competitive. There are other speakers that’ll outperform it for less. I’m thinking $179.99 - $199.99 would be more appropriate. As far as sound is concerned, I find that it has a warm sound signature, making it more suitable for indoor listening.
😂😂😂same ol' same ol'. The JBL might be better as it has a full IP rating compared to only water resistance on the other 2. Would come in handy at the beach as you know, sand is usually at the beach...
Why no Bose Soundlink Max comparison yet? Also maybe use songs that aren‘t complete garbage from youtube and such. All your soundtests are worthless because you pick a track with well this shit in it lol I wanna see what the speaker is capable of.
I have 4 different soundcore speakers.could not be happier
You gotta be a loyal JBL groupie to pay that 😬
Exactly comparison i was waiting for
JBL speakers are great!… but not for the price. I got at W-King X20 AND a Sony ULT Field 1 for the price of the JBl Extreme 4.

Thanks for this comment. I also have the 320, and I'm concedering getting the xtreme 4 and clip 5.
Excellent Video 👍👍

What about microphone to answering calls? Which of them does have microphone?
Thanks for the great review.

I'll stick with Altec Lansing. It's a beast and takes a while to recharge. But the sound is outstanding. IMO
They all have their limitations. The ability to work the EQ is huge, an easy fix to change the sound to what you like. Sound is very subjective.
75% is more realistic. And mentions on how each speaker would be good for what size party

It's mainly the xtreme,go and Clip series that's overpriced.

JBL good yes, but with its price? I think it's not worth the price
is the new soundcore boom 2 plus louder then the jbl xtreme 3 and better speaker
Did you use AAC on the Soundcores? I use it on my Boom 2 Plus, together with Spatial Audio from my Pixel 8 pro. It sounds pretty detailed.

JBL definitely Sounds more all around Crispy! It seems sound core is more if you like bass 🔊

JBL Extream 4 (price 380$)
This price is from amazon 10 more bucks u would go with the JBL partybox club 120
Got a refurbished 120 for 287€ from jbl store. I'm really happy with that deal.
do you get an increase when you plug it in? Or do you get a decrease when you unplug it?
Hi. Which is better interms of sound quality and comfortability, SONY WH CH-720N or JBL TUNE 770NC?
Considering it’s form factor, sound quality & price, you’d be better off getting 2 Boom2 & pairing them together for TWS.😂

During Amazon Prime day the price is going to come down to 170 something
Anker win 🎉
hey man. can u do a comaprison between xtreme 4 and hk soundsticks 4.
The extreme lineup is cool, but way too pricey, for close to 400 dollars the box speakers from Sony and Jbl are where I’d put my money.

Papá antes también sacaba las reseñas en español 🙏.
Shame no aux input for the xtreme 4
Music sounds a lot better through it than Bluetooth

no its not a beast, jbl is ass

Coz he's merican
Xtreme 4 is so disappointing outside of its removable battery
I still want to test it but for when I seen I agree
@@TheAscendedTechNinja If there's like a massive sale on it why not lol, but not at retail price 😝

The boom2 plus is clearer than JBL. Its quiet noticeable.
No,JBL is cleaner,boom plus dull
Detachable battery is too big a game changer for any other brand to compete with jbl 🙌🏿🔥🔥💯💯
Had every speaker tested and JBL always sounds like tin can. 🥴
except partybox 310
I dont think my JBL ultimate sounds like a tin can😅
JBL Fanboy haha, the boom 2 Plus dont even compare. You should test ist against the Boombox, thats a fair battle
Jbl definitely better
