Hi great video . Looking to buy same coilover for my E93 . Not sure if its good idea to go for stance coilover or original!
I would go original to be honest unless you want stiffer ride however mine havent lasted very long

Do you have to put any spacers under the top mount? I’ve got these with brand new top mounts and I have a little bit of play.
Nah not that I know of mate it fit snug as soon as I tightened everything my down
What was the tool you used for tightening top mounts to coilovers

I can’t get my wheels back on the front now as the coilovers are hitting the alloy.. if I add a spacer it’s rubbing the wing. What do I do😂
Are they definitely the right coilovers and is it aftermarket wheels?

Whats the ride and handling like compared to the stock?
Do they soak up the bumps and imperfections?
Does the ride feel harsher?
Braking and taking off?
Corners?
Im going to do a video but this ride is basically the same as stock completely however slight benefit with being lower so less body roll cornering. Suspension is too soft do springs bottom out on almost invisible bumps in the road you’d usually not see and when I brake hard it sounds like somethings rubbing but I can’t find what
@@Josh.Sanderson hi mate I just fitted the fronts today and the ride is so uncomfortable and it is knocking. My car is sitting lower than stock too. I think the knocking is because I set the preload all the way to the bottom but there is nothing to lock the preload with as there's only two spinning things
@@MFA1999 I haven’t used preload before but I bet it’s put more stress and your parts link bump stops and top mounts, worth checking engine and gearbox mounts too
@@Josh.Sanderson I actually had the two adjustments rings at the bottom thinking that will make the car sit higher so I've adjusted that now but just need to adjust my rears but I have a feeling the car will be knocking still. My engine mounts are new with less than 5k miles

@@elemer2089 might be moving to wales soon! Hypothetically if the law wasn’t an issue then I would definitely delete egr, dpf, and swirlflaps 😂
@@Josh.Sanderson you never know, a car can get stolen and found the next day without dpf, happened to a mate of mine, horrible incident :(
