“Under store floorage.” Amen brother. After a long day, I like kicking my heat seaters on and relaxing. Thanks for posting!
Yeah, this was the last of six cars I filmed that day. Also been sick for a few days leading up to this, so I was not in the best form 😅 But heck, it every day you get to invent a new phrase 😅🙈
Coupe? Saloon? Coupoon? Either way she is damn pretty.
It's not a coop Kris. That's a thing you keep chickens in.
it's a GT with a usable back seat.
I get the stark contrast of the blinding white with black flourishes and accents, but that lighting and background do nothing to demonstrate Polestar designs.
I like the design of the interior. Very clean, elegant, without unnecessary or flashy elements. Finally, there's more space inside, something the P2 lacks. The exterior is disputable, I also find it hard to define what this car is, I would say a sedan, but a bit too chunky for a sedan. Sedan-crossover? Unfortunately boot space is still quite tight, similar to the P2. A few cm more would have made a big difference (or at least that's what she said :D).
And then there is the price worth mentioning. I went through the configurator and a decent configuration starts at 85-90k €. Maybe I'm saying that because I can't afford it (my limit is 60k), but it seems a bit overpriced to me for a car with so many compromises. And what segment is it anyway? Too small for E, too expensive for D.
boot space is much bigger as u can fill it all the way up, as the rear camera removes the need of a rear window
thank you for the details but please get a proper camera person; it is very annoying the way it is recorded and the quality
replacing my 2 with this 100%.
right behind u
right behind u also
Would you consider buying this car after first glimpse?
I'd have to test drive one first...
This is my dream car.
Gorgeous 😍😍😍
Polestar 4 will constitute a qualitative leap and shift in design and engineering in the automotive industry. The best shape ever, these are the cars of the future
It's a modern, electric, high performance Volvo S60 Cross Country! I like it a lot! Going to be a winner.
Nice car but I wished they'd made it more like the Polestar 3 in terms of consistency of the buttons and such and with a portrait screen. Still, very clean and Polestar over the Zeekr framework. Still, I like the 3 because it is more a "true" Polestar.
Amazing car. Get this now!!!❤
We have a 24 PS2 and when the lease is up we will likely get one of these. Pricing will be important though. Too close to the PS3 and we would go for the extra room. I could see the PS4 replacing the PS2. It would simplify their product line and reduce mfg costs.
A P4 is approx 700K SEK, a P3 is 1000K SEK.
@@thomaswestin9987 cool. We paid 60K usd for a loaded 2024 ps2.
@@rlaracueyes the price difference between P2 and P4 should be wider
I just ordered one. Going from Id 4 to this. Genius idea with backseat and no rear window. On top a very very nice looking car. I get it in august-september !
It's not a coop Kris. That's a thing you keep chickens in.
It’s either the camera or poor showroom lighting, just hard to watch in that white/bright tone
It’s the cars bright metallic paint and the bright light source from the light boxes above the car. This stand was a lot brighter than the rest of the exhibition hall.
@@KrisRifa tough environment! 😁
yes the bright light - it is the Pole star, so what did you expect 😅
Love this Polestar 4 !! For me it's a Coupe with easy access ;)
Did you bought it?
@@kieliopinkuningas9577 No, why ?
Any comment on the feeling given by the extended pano roof in the back seat (due to no rear window)?
It’s neither a SUB or a coupe 😂
Polestar makes som cool cars, but i would not buy one, i dont think it will survive as a company
Polestar is owned by Geely so as long as Geely want they will be in business. Geely has proven to be very patient with Volvo which is now paying off. I dont see a reason why they should not do the same for Polestar. Geely sold stock in Volvo quite recently, I guess to ramp up support for Polestar.
What a poor choice of colours 😮😮😮
0:41 - A: 5-door Crossover.
I'd be worried that in inclement weather the rear camera would get dirty and you'd have no visibility back there, or be getting out and cleaning it off all the time. That's why I specifically chose an EV with a rear wiper, makes a big difference. I'd definitely wait until there were some long term reviews before considering this.
I like this packaging a lot more than the P3, especially the interior. I wish they would have had some of the better options offered in the P3 for the P4 as well (ie: chassis, suspension, and audio). I realize this is built on a different platform and a totally different price point.
Also, your vid. is slightly over-exposed making it harder to see the car overall. Great vid. overall.
What do we classify the Zeekr 01 as? Since this is basically the same car.
You changed your mind 😊 I can´t wait to see it in person. I really like the concept of the car.
Yes.Its a premium car.Current Polestar2 owners dont see that...yet.The seats are not just texile.Recycled pet plastic is used also.
Looks amazing 👏
Give us the name of the designer who hates rear windows 😆😆
Like i pace Copy , hope that quality is better than jaguar
Great video, quite poor video quality, the white balance is completely off. I love the Polestar 4 but it is to expensive. Harman is owned by Samsung as many other car stereo brands nowadays, please go on with your sound quality series it would be quite interesting.
There is nothing wrong with the quality, which refers to resolution and clearness. White balance is automatic in camera and color temperature is set to +1 to match the actual color of my skin. Which is what is considered “correct” temperature and white balance.
What you may be actually complaining about is filming a white metallic car in an indoor arena with a bright point of light from a single source above. That, I cannot do anything about. That is why the car seems very bright and white. It’s just the limitation of a rather “pedestrian” Sony A7C and Tamron 20-40mm F2.8 😅
@@KrisRifaYou are probably right, I just reacted to that you doesn’t see any of the cars lines, logo is invisible and so on. Other RUclips videos from the same event looks ok.
Coupé? SUV? For me, it is a sedan just as Polestar 2. Though it is really desirable for me. I'd love to replace my Polestar 2 with that. I'm looking forward to see a test of it.
I keep repeating myself here but the rear camera gives more boot space, as u can fill it all the way up without stopping line of sight
"coupé" means "cut", it is a "half" of a sedan.
Polestar 4 is neither a coup nor a SUV. It is a nice looking hatchback.
Sure they could even claim this car to be a dreadnought, but it would be (and it is) just one of the traces from marketing people "hardwork" to justify their own existence.
Regardless of labeling,it has more storage than a hatchback, as you can fill it all the way up without stopping line of sight, due to the rear camera/no rear window
Had to stop watching the video because you can't pronounce 'rear' and the video editing is terrible 😅
It's a coupe
wow looks nice genesis!! keep going.
Why are you not testing the BMW iX?
Is the EX90 there? Thinking about going tomorrow.
No EX90, only EX30 there
I've been using a camera as an interior mirror for a while now. It serves as both a dash cam and reversing camera as my 2012 BMW X1 doesn't have a screen. I'm very used to it, and I have to say, using a camera instead of a mirror, even in my 2012 X1 which has a massive rear window, is just so much better. A mirror doesn't show you your blindspots like a camera does, and I have it wired into my reversing lights too so when I put it in reverse, it will dip the camera feed down and makes it super easy to reverse
Wonder how that rearview camera will work when it gets covered by snow and ice
A window covered with snow and ice doesn't work well either
@@michaelvoong no but if you have a wiper it will be able to remove the snow before it settles into ice. But the camera might have a heating element for all I know. The P4 designers are based in Göteborg so they should be well aware of winter conditions in Scandinavia
What’s in the dash display? Is there a head up display as well?
Yes, optional head up display
I think Polestar will go bankrupt.
I don`t think Keely is willing to go Polestar bust. If you remember, also Tesla had difficult times 5 years ago. So one Polestar gets 4 and 3 into delivery, They will make it..
@@sailingandsomejokesI agree. They have helped Volvo, and I cant see why they would not help Polestar on the final lap with two new awesome cars soon to be delivered.
Agree no way - the own Volvo , they will own Polestar - as likely to go bankrupt as volvo is. alternatively bought by Apple
They won't but they need to sort out their product range quickly. Too many very high priced cars and no volume
Like so much about this car, but not the price and the height of the floor for rear passengers. Imo I would rather have the 'driveshaft tunnel' that PS2 have, if that would get you better seat height, being able to put feet under front seats. Also a bit annoying they didn't get the frunk any bigger.
Looks Citroen to me. I do not like the exterior design…
I like it, rear view camera and all, no more staring at headrests - what a concept! What I’m interested in knowing is if the EX60 will follow the P4 on the SEA platform or stay with SPA2 and be more like the EX90. I like our XC40, but wouldn’t mind something this size. Pretty car.
I think the EX60 may be built on the GPA platform.
@@benjaminsmith2287 The video dates back a bit, so it will be interesting to see how far on they are, and if they’ll go with GPA, or stick with Geely’s SEA. Cost a lot of money to develop this stuff. I’d like to see the features of the EX90 in a smaller package, as Volvo has done with the XC60 and 90. Owned a Land Rover for years and liked its air suspension a lot. My XC40 by comparison on bumpy roads is choppy, but I love the car otherwise.
As always Kris thanks for the review. The wife and I have been considering this car rather seriously for a while now. Just got to see some driving reviews. Hopefully you’ll get the chance soon mate!
