    Very beautiful truck and love the vid! I’m currently looking at getting a 3” lift but I currently have 275/70/r17 BFG KO2s. Will this lift make my tires look a little small? Or is the difference between 285s and 275s not that noticeable? Thanks!

      Very minimal, upsize isn’t by much. I wouldn’t worry personally unless it’s a few more sizes larger. And even then, it’s a truck and wouldn’t bother me. That’s my opinion and not everyone would feel the same. Thanks for the comment!

    Can you still keep the front mud guards?

    • @88ROTORS
      @88ROTORS  4 года назад +2

      Removing them allows you more room for caster adjustment. Most prefer the look of them removed as well. If you’re into keeping the front mud flaps, you can keep them on and push the wheel forward to clear. It’s all in the wheel spec also. I’m speaking specifically about the setup here. Not all setups are the same.

    You need to show what the parts you're installing look like. Where they're being installed, comparisons to stock etc. It'll slow production a bit but will add more value to the videos. Right now, it looks like just a bunch of walk-around clips and nothing educational that most of us don't already know. Hope this helps.

    • @88ROTORS
      @88ROTORS  4 года назад +1

      It’s hard to do that without becoming a DIY channel, which we are not. Our main focus is to showcase the work that we do and the results and in turn in hopes of getting more customers through our door. But I totally get what you’re saying. Maybe we’ll show more of the products off of the car before we install it. We do show them on the car once they are installed. Appreciate the feedback!

    • @ll1l2l1l2lll
      @ll1l2l1l2lll 4 года назад

      88ROTORS gotcha. Then show more technical aspects of the install, the craftsmanship. Why your tech took the time to do this and this, why you're careful when installing this piece in this order because of that reason. You guys support these parts because of these reasons. The DIY customer is different than the 'pay someone to do it professionally' customer. Many of the DIY guys will watch video after video, study forums before doing an install themselves confidently (or already know how). But most of your customers would feel overwhelmed taking their suspension apart or wiring something, so they'd take it to the shop, hopefully yours if you show them you're better than average shops. Direct sales from RUclips is difficult because most will only travel only a short number of miles to do work at your location (you can look at your stats for where viewer are coming from) Same as why different gas stations are stationed in the same intersection. Buyers will go with a company they have confidence in, whether it's new or returning customers. I personally would do RUclips as a brand strengthening tool than a direct sales tool. Hope this helps, say wsup to Ken for me.

      @@88ROTORS I think it would be helpful if you told the viewers what kits/brands you were installing. I live in a different country and that’s an insane drive to make for a simple lift. What’s size shim was installed on this truck. I have the same model and would be helpful to know what’s being installed.
      Love the videos you put out but it’s too bad you can’t say what products you’re using.

      No chop needed. With the constant changes with new importing tariffs and material costs, we try not to post prices on here because it may change depending on when people read it. Please contact us by phone or by messaging us through our contact form for accurate quotes for when you need it. We can be reached at 626-442-3150 and are available 10AM-5PM PDT weekdays and 10AM-4PM PDT Saturdays. Our contact form can be found in the link in description.
