I have been researching Tacomas for a while and I was set on the OffRoad option over the TRD Pro because I thought if I planned to lift the truck to fit 33's I would be throwing away the TRD Pro suspension. You just found the solution I needed! Thanks guys. Excellent video and the truck looks great.
@@88ROTORS Can you provide any info on the front 1" shim you used as well as the 1.5" add-a-leaf in the rear? Any other mods required like extended bumpstops or extended brakelines?
in the last 5 yrs i have purchased 8 new toyota trucks. 4 tacomas and 4 tundras, and a rav limited.........i have a 1794 in the works. today they called me and asked if i want a new tacoma....told them i would think about it......after watching this i'm in the mood for an army green, lifted, 4 x 4, tricked out pro to go along with my new 1794 or maybe a tundra pro, same color and decked out like the tacoma . you know like big brother--little brother.
The army green is dope! I love most of the small upgrades the 2020 has especially apple car play and seat adjustment. I have a similar lift on my 2017 TRD pro by Revtek. I agree with some other comments the new lift and tires look perfect but I would have kept the stock wheels they’re cooler than my 2017 pro wheels
I'm on the CEMENT hype! The TRD wheels would of gave it a 'NICER" pop. Still don't get why they don't make the PRO in a long bed.....Would look soooooo NICE!
Really ? I guess it's a personal taste because I always thought the long bed looked streched for the height of the body and it would be too long of a wheelbase for offroading.
Another great video. I would have kept the factory wheels. After watching all of these Toyota videos everyone within a hundred miles must be running the wheels they put on.
Hello guys. Enjoy the Tacoma videos. When adding the front spacer, like under the TRD Pro when you do the rear leaf and spacer lift, do you have to have a front alignment afterwards? Thanks for your help.
Truck looks really good, but it needs some rock rails, light bar and tonneau cover! I have an issue with fake feeling leather on the steering wheel and the non functioning hood scoop, come on Toyota?
Out of curiosity, why didn’t the owner keep the original wheels, when they are nice? I could not remember if you said the wheels were 16 inch replaced by 17 inch wheels? What I can tell you though, your mechanics did an outstanding job and made that truck even look more monstrous, manly driving trucks. My goal is to get a 2020 army green Toyota Tacoma. Right now I have a 2017 silver long bed Toyota Tacoma.
Never understood why spend top $$ on a Pro when you're gonna remove the wheels and add a lift? If you have money to throw away I guess...I bought my '19 Pro for the stock features.
I don't understand why you would blow the cash on a pro if you're just dirting the fox shocks and wheels. I just ordered a 2020 offroad premium for that reason.
I have a 2018 TRD Pro. I added a 1.5 add a leaf in the rear and now I think I need to raise the front about .5-1inch. What shim or spacer did you use for the front on this truck? Can you provide a name and part number? I always enjoy your videos. Thanks.
33's look pretty good! Watched alot of 35's stuffed in there but I'd like to go as big as possible without having to do alot of support mods like re-gearing & reprogramming shift points & speedo... once I actually have a Tundra that is 😝
Looks nice as stock already when I get mine I'll just get upgrade wheels. That truck cost so much already getting a lift kit and after market wheels you rather go with trd off road.
Method wheels are cool but I would of left the trd wheels!! Lift looks great and the black n green are 🔥🔥🔥🔥. Wonder why toyota has not switched to disc brakes out back?

Do the small modifications void any warranty? I'm waiting for delivery on my 2020 Pro and upgrading the tires and a small lift (while keeping the Fox suspension) are first on my list.
A lift can not make your engine stall. Larger tires will not stop your windows from rolling up. Warranty can not be voided because of a mod unless the dealer can prove that it’s the direct cause of the problem itself. The chances of your suspension failing because of adding a shim is almost impossible, unless it was installed wrong. If you change out parts to aftermarket, there’s new warranty that the aftermarket parts come with. Hope that answers your question. Thanks!

Whats does this exact mod cost? I might do this to my truck.

Nah
88ROTORS maybe if u fucking communists stopped buying cheap ass parts from China u wouldn’t have to worry about tariffs.
88ROTORS how much the trd pro stock wheels cost?
looks sweet, I would of stayed with the TRD Pro wheels
agreed
The new pro wheels sure are nice.
Same here.
Yep, looked into getting a set for my '16 TRD OR. About $1800!! Um...nope.
Like the method wheels better 👌🏾
that army green is an amazing color not going to lie. I see why people love that color on the trd pro

Stock wheels look waaaaayyyy better. Too many people running this setup already.

Nice! Toyota love!
I just watch the tacoma videos and I wonder if one day I could drive one of these beautiful trucks. I hope in God someday 🙏🏻
Good job,, payment of 750 a month and keep praying to your god and trust me it will happen🙏🏽🇺🇸💪😊
I like the TRD wheel better. Changing tires and the 1" makes a big difference.
It already has stock 1" lift
The green is going to make me spend way more than I expected
I like the 2020 they did a great job I love that color

This is my dream truck😍. And the color😍😍. I love it.
I love the voodoo blue, but that army green has a place in my heart as well .
I'm on the CEMENT hype! The TRD wheels would of gave it a 'NICER" pop. Still don't get why they don't make the PRO in a long bed.....Would look soooooo NICE!
That's the reason they don't make long bed, because it looks...... never mind.......
The TRD Pro is meant to be their top off-roader. Giving it the LB would compromise the break-over angle too much.
Really ? I guess it's a personal taste because I always thought the long bed looked streched for the height of the body and it would be too long of a wheelbase for offroading.
This shop is definitely for Toyota’s trucks!!! 👍🏻
Narrator is doing a very great job !!!
Army green is sick looking but the Voodoo blue is where it's at. Should have waited for the 20's to come out before I bought my pro.
Great work 88 Rotors always enjoy your videos.
Thanks Eddie!
I bought a 2018 new, and was ready to drive it over to you from AZ, but no one answered a couple simple questions...
Awesome Taco. One of the nicest I’ve seen. Well done.
Thank you!
Just bought a metallic black pro in Southern Oregon last week, loving it! I love that green too! Not much of a selection around here at all
5:26 Tech: " Aww this is hard" XD
Another great video. I would have kept the factory wheels. After watching all of these Toyota videos everyone within a hundred miles must be running the wheels they put on.
Looks way better with the new set of rims and bigger tires.
Thanks!
I just got a 2020 trd pro. I’d love to see this lift w 285 maintaining the stock wheels. Any deals for someone driving all the way from Tahoe?
They have a video of one like that
2020 model trd pro, off road and sport now have remote start. Click button twice and on the third time hold.
Those wheels look better than the originals
Sick color !! Love your channel keep it up guys
Thanks John!
Hello guys. Enjoy the Tacoma videos. When adding the front spacer, like under the TRD Pro when you do the rear leaf and spacer lift, do you have to have a front alignment afterwards? Thanks for your help.
Yes, it's recommended to align the front anytime the height changes.
Very nice work. You guys should open up a shop near Denver!!
Chump Cheddar every 4x4 place I call is like minimum two weeks out.
Truck looks really good, but it needs some rock rails, light bar and tonneau cover! I have an issue with fake feeling leather on the steering wheel and the non functioning hood scoop, come on Toyota?
So why did you cut off the U bolts to add leaf springs? And I hope you got a workers comp for the monkeys lifting 80lbs wheels/tires to shoulder high.
no rubbing with just a shim to the front? or was there a mod and welding done to this one?
That truck looks so damn good! nice video
Thanks Boss!

It’s for the color I’ve heard. But yeah I’m there with you.
This setup is not that much down here...I think with a 6 inch with rims n tires comes out too like 3k or so
MexicanSoup69 where ?
D LG what’s your ig
I don't understand why you would blow the cash on a pro if you're just dirting the fox shocks and wheels. I just ordered a 2020 offroad premium for that reason.
Can you add a 3” lift with the fox suspension?
I'd like to know this also.
I have a 2018 TRD Pro. I added a 1.5 add a leaf in the rear and now I think I need to raise the front about .5-1inch. What shim or spacer did you use for the front on this truck? Can you provide a name and part number? I always enjoy your videos. Thanks.

Awesome guys

When money is not an issue
What brand name products did you use to do this lift?
I like the headlights but Toyota should put TRD on both headlights
It’s OD green. Stands for Olive Drab
Can you mount those tires on the stock TRD Pro wheels? Great looking wheels. Love that green color.
Owner decided to upsize yo 17” so it’s not the same. But you can run 285/75/16 with this setup and clear completely, when it articulation.
Do u guys do regear since bigger tires are being put on

What does something like this cost all-in? Lift components, tires, rims, labor? I’m in Texas and curious. Thanks! 👌

One bad ass truck!
Magnetic gray metallic is best
Great video one question was a wheel alignment done or needed after you were done with the Lift
I have a question if you lift 6 inches 35 inches tires do you need to cut any frame on the truck? And is there any rubbing on the tires on the front?
Great looking work!
How high can you lift a TRD Pro with the stock shocks
I believe 1" Ill be doing it to my Pro in the upcoming month. Ill post a blog about it if you want to follow
Luis Munoz subbed you follow your posts about the lift.
Any rubbing? Cab mount chop wasnt necessary?
I’d like to see you guys do a frontier.
You guys should have a Tacoma meet up. I know a good taco man 🌮
Yes, been thinking about it. We used to throw annual car meets and have had amazing turnouts. We may do one soon, stay tuned for that!
Would it be possible to do the same wheel and tire combo to a 20 trd pro 4runner and keep the same fox suspension???
Gonna get that new Lunar Rock TRD Pro.
Sweet!
I have cemet gray can I put 3in spacer on fox shock front. Were yall used 1in spacer. Thanks i want keep the fox shocks
You would need a drop bracket for something like that. Wouldn’t recommend it.
Proper work as always Thumbs up. Id love an army green pro.
Thanks Antonio!
Do these type of rims and tires make the truck more heavy and does it waist more gas? For the 3.5 engine
Does the leaf squeak at all? Also, can I order this kit? I live in florida so visiting is kinda hard. Thanks
Another vote for the stock TRD pro wheels.
Love the upgrade! Isn’t there a “Trail Cam” under the truck near the skid plates?
h mc correct. In the grille.
No, I saw a video where there is one under the truck too!
@@harvmac69 It isn't actually under the truck, it is just a delayed view from the front (or rear if backing up?) camera.
Beautiful truck
Those look so much better without the snorkel. Also is that a manual transmission?
Automatic on this one.
suggestion: do a before after side by side
Where do you get those all weather floor mats?? I couldn’t find them on Toyota OEM accessories..
Well done guys.
Very nice fkn truck
And nice fkn job u are the best guys
Did you by any chance measure the stock dif clearance and fender height before and after?
Why does the Taco get LEDs but not the 4runner????
How much do you charge for the added lift to the pro not including the rims and tires
What kind of shim is that? Is it metal, hard plastic or aluminum?
..how the hell did you get one so early..??
Can you do a video with 2020 Gun Metal Grey Metallic I need some ideas but never see that color thanks Great Work!! 2/26/20
Looks nice! 'Bout to get one of these!
What lift Kit did you guys add to this truck? How high?
Looks bad ass👍
Why do people say spacer make the ride bad and could break when off roading?
Add a before and after pic
Yes I want to find out what the owner wants to do with the stock rims.
Perfect 👌 😍😍😍😍😍
What is the offset backspace on the new rims??

Color Black is always good. Just not in wheels
Is alignment still needed after this minor lift?
Minor adjustments can be made still.
Every time you change ride height, geometry changes.
I don’t like how Toyota then releases the pro color way to the other models the following year. It takes away that unique factor
How does this lift effect ride quality?
This doesn’t have much of an offset. What was it on?
Would of kept the pro wheels. And is he selling??
Spacers and add a leaf, bring on the 80,s
🤤 this is the one
Cemet is sick
did you lift the truck? looks the same to me
What offset are the wheels? @88ROTORS
What size is the spacer?
How much the trd pro stock wheels cost ?
