Jamie Blankenship not everyone cares about saving a buck. Some people just prefer the 17’s and don’t mind paying for new wheels and tires to get what they want.
@@88ROTORS It is not about the money , if you can buy a $51 thousand dollar truck, money its not a problem , but rather buy a TRD sport and spend $20 thousand in accessories and lifting it. The moment you star changing a Pro it looses value , after you guys are done with any truck they look incredible any ways.

Get the Westcott lift and have Toyota put it on. I went Westcott front lift and Icon AAL in rear. Sits perfectly level. I am in Asheville NC and the local dealership put it on

Wow didn’t know the Tacoma had drum rear brakes and blue is the way to go.
I favor blues. I have a ‘10 in Speedway Blue. Cavalry Blue is my favorite with Voo Doo a close second.

If you have the money the yes I would switch the rims to the 17" I prefer the matt Black rims instead of the shinny and as far as the color I like the Black TRD Pro but that Blue color is nice!
Did you guys have to do a cab mount chop or any trimming to fit the 285's so they wouldn't rub?
Do you typically replace the front needle bearing with the ECGS clamshell bushing? I know the needle bearing becomes problematic with a lift.

I love the voodoo blue...I have a 2011 speedway Blue Tacoma now. I'm looking at cement as my number two choice...voodoo is my number 1. Looking to get a new taco next year....this is the exact thing I want done to mine. I just don't care for the new trd pro rim on these.
I love that color! Way better than the old tacky calvary blue. Voodoo blue is more standoutish.

What model Tacoma stock wheels? Each style wheel has a slightly different width and offset. Thank you for your kind words!

What Lift kit do they use?
Can I add 285/75/16 on stock fox suspension on trd pro? Without any shims?
I’d use the 4Runner 17” wheel with the factory 265/70/17 which is 32” tall. I’d leave the Pro suspension alone. I prefer the matte finish of the 4Runner wheels.

I have a 2019 trd off road . Every build I have seen on line with the 285/70/17 tires have rubbing issues on or off road how do you keep your builds from doing that ? I like this build it’s not to high and not extreme .

Don’t have the technical numbers because there are more factors than that, but honestly not enough for you to really notice.

Vj Pyles i would recommend 265/70/17 or 265/75/16, whichever you have. You can do 285’s with spacers or aftermarket wheels.

To each their own. Customer requested it. I have a customer trying to fit 20's on a Tacoma TRD Pro right now too. Everyone has their thing, we do what makes the CUSTOMER happy.
