As much as I'm cheering for Wolfe, I hope Aaron wins this. My man got robbed by RNG in 2013 to the point that Game Freak went and nerfed game mechanics specifically because of that match. Brought a solid non-horse team and is killing it despite not being in the Worlds stage for 6 years.

What is the paper the players are exchanging before the battle? Team sheets?
Yeah, open team sheets. I hear they have Pokémon, items, techniques, tera type, etc., but not IVs/EVs. There's still some mystery as to how the opponent has built them in that sense.

i don’t get the fake out into ogrepon in game 3, i thought the play was to fake out urshifu and try to ko the ogrepon with stellar tera surging strikes

The fact this billion dollar franchise still has to use the player's Switch for the fricking world championships and the first game is completely in effing French is embarrassing. Rosemary literally had to go "the Inceneroar is holding an item" because she didn't know WHICH item was knocked off because the text on screen was in FRENCH...
Yeah I'm sure these events aren't easy to pull off but not having a caster view, games taking so long to get setup, and the frequent connection problems is really amateur.
bro they cannot do that, because the player may not know english names of the moves, it's like if we suddenly had to use english translations of Japanese moves lol, would be so hard to play...
What they should do is a spectator mode, like in SWSH which can be in english
I agree that they should find a way of displaying a 3rd view in English because they cannot force people to play in English but for spectators it's bad
I haven’t played the new games but surely I would of thought the better option would be to have tournament switches already in place (for the live stream anyway) where the competitors can either log in there account or pick there team.
And also the stream should be using like a spectator mode that the broadcast is streamed from instead of just using what the switches are using.

Why isn’t there a special worlds game mode. Since sv there hasn’t been one and everytime we see the moves locked in. Very unprofessional. There wasn’t one the whole gen 8 timeline
