- Hello from Honolulu, Hawaiʻi, home of the 2024 Pokémon UNITE World Championships! This weekend, the best Pokémon UNITE teams in the world are competing for the $100,000 grand prize and the title of World Champions.
Throughout this season, teams in 11 regions from across the globe competed for slots in the World Championships. Today, those teams will compete in single round robin groups to determine which 16 will advance to Day 2’s 16-team single elimination bracket.
Then, in tomorrow’s bracket, the action will continue until the 2024 Pokémon UNITE World Champions are crowned!

This video is a mess - timer shifting suddenly by minutes, audio level adjusting abruptly, random cuts to scenes without explanation. What is even happening here?? Couldn't stick with this long enough to find the first match, even with fast forward.

I guess NA had to eat some humble pie this time around. Even the casters seemed really biased. I get that you’re from NA, but let’s not say that Luminosity are the 3 time champions 1 match in, when they didn’t even survive group stages. Glad to see a new region win.

Le otorga un botón extra,llamado "Nueva obra",con el que puede borrar sus movimientos actuales,y reaprender Esquema
Movimientos:nivel 1 y 3 (son para siempre)
Esquema:Puede tomar el movimiento del Pokémon elegido,que corresponda con el slot elegido (ambos slots son el mismo movimiento,pero copian diferentes),Si el objetivo no tiene ese movimiento,o tiene que cambialo,no se podrá elegir como objetivo
Mejora (nivel 6 y 8)
Tras la mejora,da diferentes mejoras a los movimientos que copia, dependiendo de su categoría
Área:Aumenta el tamaño del ataque
Infalible:Aumenta el daño
Curación:Mejora más la curación dada y/o recibida
Beneficio:Aumenta las mejoras que otorga
Avance:Otorga rango extra
Largo alcance:Provoca más daño entre más lejos conecte
Corto alcance:Causa más daño entre más cerca conecte
Restriccion:Restringe por más tiempo
Perjuicio:Los efectos de mejoran
Si un movimiento tiene más de una categoría,se le ejecutan los efectos extra de ambas categorías
Movimiento Unite: Frenesí de la pintura
Smeargle cubre la zona con pintura,que actúa como un ácido que hace daño a lo que lo toca,y usa un poderoso movimiento dependiendo de la categoría de los movimientos copiados
Área:Gira un montón en su lugar para lanzar la pintura acida a todos lados
Infalible:Se lanza a por un enemigo,y lo cubre por completo en la pintura acida,causando un enorme daño en pocos segundos
Curación: Lanza pintura azul a sus aliados cercanos,que los curará constantemente por unos segundos
Beneficio:Lanza pintura naranja a sus aliados,que les otorga velocidad de movimiento,Ataque,ataque físico y ataque especial por unos segundos
Avance:Crea una gigantesca ola de pintura,que arrasa con todo a su paso,llevándose pokemones enemigos en el camino y avanzando una ENORME distancia
Largo alcance:Lanza proyectiles de pintura a gran velocidad alrededor del área,que hacen gran daño,pero son fáciles de esquivar
Corta alcance: Prepara su cola un momento,para después lanzar un PODEROSO brochazo,que lanzará al enemigo muy lejos y le aplicará la pintura ácida por un pequeño momento
Restriccion:Crea burbujas de pintura que atrapan dentro de sí a los rivales que las toquen, haciendo daño y atrapandolos por unos segundos
Perjuicio:Da un salto para después,caer al suelo lanzando pintura amarilla que aturde a los enemigos,y luego lanza pintura ácida para hacer daño
Si tiene 2 movimientos copiados, Ejecuta los movimiento del Unite uno después del otro
Si no tiene un movimiento,no lanza 1 ataque
si no tiene movimientos copiados,ejecuta la variante de Área

Talon VS Gee, commentators being bias. Only mentioning more from the Gee instead of the winning Team Talon in Game 1.
They even lost their energy and sad sounding when Gee was defeated. The hell with this casters, they should be cheering for the winning team.

Do pros use controllers or mobile?
Controller it's on the switch
Most in the west play with controller, Asian and South American teams mostly play mobile
I was just wondering if there was a particular advantage to using either one. Like is one better than the other or is it personal preference
Main advantage of switch is being able to play on a controler, especially significant for camera control which is awkward to do well on mobile, but also a matter of preference for a lot of players. Outside of that i do think mobile has the lead in most other categories.
