This is a nice RV. I wish it was lighter so I could tow it. And I wish the extra space in the bathroom was added to the Livingroom instead, I don't need two bathroom sinks. Thank you for sharing!

I love the back patio, breakfast bar and tiny house features that screams just park me and plug me in as it is incapable of off grid use👍it just needs a decent porcelain toilet, a comfortable sofa or theater seating and a watchable TV position and💥💥💥

I think the large bathroom is a disadvantage here. I'd eliminate 1 sink, shrink the show space a bit, and then slide everything to the back to give a bit more living space.

Very needed concept for so many full-time RV dwellers, and I’d love to offer these as temporary housing while my clients’ houses are being built BUT I’d suggest:
    1) move the main entry to the back porch. Move the kitchen to the back room
    2) Standard 30” high U shape dinette convertible to a full size bed, with storage under the seats
    3) awning style window to the back deck, with flip up bar table & 2 counter stools on the back deck
    2) laundry and bathroom as a pass-through in the middle
    3) murphy bed/ sofa combo in front bedroom, with fireplace, TV and removable work table. Plenty of light &windows, perhaps a suntube or sunroof. Full size King here. 2 storage ottomans can be used as additional seating, footstools for lounging, and storage.
These adjustments allow indoor/outdoor entertaining space in the back, with an away-space/office/bedroom/Living Room in front, total sleeping capacity = 4

I fell in love with this unit yesterday. I got the pleasure of walking inside one yesterday at the Ocala rv show and couldn’t believe how perfect for me it was to set up on some land. I like no slides and the two sliding glass doors along with the back patio the best. What a unique rig 💕

cool concept if you have like a favourite lakeside campsite you rent for the entire summer, park this thing there and use it on-off. Btw, that toilet, if your neighbour has the same trailer and you park back-to-back, that can result in a morning toilet staredown 😀

Oh I like this a lot. I don’t need 2 sinks in the bathroom. The space under the sink should be open for a trash can and put the shelf on the other side. I’m not minimalist enough to live in this, but if I was, I would. Thanks Josh!

Add cargo tie-downs in the bedroom. Make the patio rails into ramps...so a mid sized ADV touring motorcycle (max weight of 500lbs) and this would be perfect.

I walked thru one of these at the Philadelphia RV show and like it. It’s probably better for a lot that you’ll keep it at. It’ll be like towing a block wall down the road otherwise. This would be nice for a bachelor pad. One guy that was looking at it said it would be nice for his daughter to live in his yard. Nice video Josh.

They should go down to one sink in bathroom and move washer dryer closet to the other side where the sink was. Bathroom seems way too big. I would also consider switching kitchen and bedroom. This would be the layout I would want.

  • @dennisg.7498
    @dennisg.7498 4 месяца назад +3

From a destination/seasonal standpoint, the concept is great. The biggest issue for me is the lack of rainy day seating. There are not many campgrounds around that will allow washer and dryer use filling up their septic systems, so that might just be another unused space to have to winterize every year. I've got to find one to go look at.

I saw this at the Minneapolis RV show and I loved the layout and style. The lounger was super comfy and a little retrofitting and the bedroom could be a good office (great for a solo worker). I’m just not sure when/how I’d use it. I guess if someone had multiple RV properties across the country they could travel between them? Wouldn’t want to tow this too much, and wouldn’t go off-grid with it. But it’s so cool I keep trying to think of how I could somehow manage to work this into my life haha.

What a great M-I-L "tiny house" to add to the property and have her close!! Switch the built in induction top to one that slides into a drawer under the counter to increase counter space. Make the little table free floating so you can put it in front of the couch. One sink in the bathroom to increase counter space. I agree with you about the waste basket space ... I would park this, skirt it, put a patio under the "living room" door, and live in it!

Hey Uncle Josh, I hope you're having a great day! I really love this IBEX travel trailer!! When they came out with it Big Truck & Big RV showed it on their channel! But each person that shows it you learn even more about it! I love the whole concept of this unit. I do kind of wish they would have put an electric fireplace space heater in the bedroom to, beside the one in the living room! Those light beams are amazing, I do wish more manufacturers would start to use those light beams in all of their RV'S!!!! I like that you have a place for a guest to sleep in the living room if it got to late or if yall had been drinking the barley pop! Lol ! I love that it has the back covered deck on the back of it. An if I'm not mistaken they offer a hitch grill setup for this unit.? Thank you Uncle Josh for showing us this IBEX unit an giving us all the information good and bad. 1) Neat little camper
    2) I’d call this more of a modern looking design.
    3) A mini destination camper, build a deck off of it and you’re all set.
    4) Sorta seems like a neck wrecker for the living room tv. Can a drop down mounting unit be installed?
    5) I don’t know if I like a vessel sink or not. It would be nice to only have one for a larger counter top area, but with both, a couple could both get ready at the same time brushing their teeth etc.
    6) one would have to either put a trash can in the bath closet or next to the toilet.
    7) Agreed, nice touch on the matching wallpaper.
    8) Glad to see the adjustable shelving in laundry closet.
    9) The bedroom/dining room is very unique, I was wondering where the bed was. A daily set up and tear down would be a pain. If one had a picnic table on a side deck next to the sliding door (or a small portable table for the back deck) and it was nice then I’d eat outside and leave the bed down (if using slide door).
    10) I can understand why they decided to get rid of the D rings because they don’t want people to overload the back; but yet at the same time they kept the hitch… so people can load it up. What is the hitch weight rating? Their plan almost seems counterintuitive.
    11) What brand of tires? I don’t like the spare mounted underneath, makes it harder for less athletic people to crawl under and change it. Better to mount it somehow with the rear hitch or on the front tongue somehow.
    12) I have an idea…. Is it possible for them to build this unit taller (say a foot or so) then provide complete under RV storage assessable from both sides (this would accommodate accessibility should you park it next to a side deck. Yes it would make it a heavier unit, but practically everything built anymore requires a 3/4 or 1 ton truck to pull it anyways.
    12) Destination trailer for sure, would be great to compete solar the roof for more boon-docking say at the lake instead of park camping.
    13) pleasantly surprised on the price. I thought it would cost more….. although I don’t want to pay more 😂
    14) Since Bish’s sells all of these different brands (based on what the former dealer sold prior to your acquisition); why not just have all of these brands on all of your lots? It would almost in a sense be a one stop spring camper show instead of traveling the countryside looking for campers. Although that in itself could be part of the thrill for some, but what do I know, I’ve never RV’d before. I’m just enrolled in the class RV Nerdism 101. 😂
    15) Again I’d call this a mini destination trailer. Very Cracker Barrel stop midnight layover.
    37) Very cool. I like it even though it has the above hitches in its giddy up. Well done 👍

    • @JoshtheRVNerd
      @JoshtheRVNerd  Месяц назад

4.) TV setup by default is just what you see. It's not ideal by any stretch. It feels like the TV is there to provide AM radio lol
11.) Unsure on tire brand. Apologies. All I'm able to locate is "All Terrain tires" which likely means imports

Get rid of the extra sink closest to the potty. Vessel sinks have a tendency to splash more in my experience. Definitely put the heaters closer to the floor. Not sure it needs 2 sliders. Maybe a regular door in the living area. Can the TV swap with what's between it and the fireplace.
I like it but wonder if the kitchen living area should be at the back. Seems like best use of the patio would be to have it be by where you'll spend the most waking hours rather than putting the bed up & down all the time.
Interesting concept but not quite there.

This thing is pretty amazing. I'm with you on the lack of spots for waste baskets. I also agree that there really isn't a need for the dual sinks in the bathroom. I'd much rather have the additional counter space. The color scheme is nice, definitely better than the typical HOA browns. Now, make this more "normal" for towing and I'd probably go get one ASAP. No slide and lots of flexibility. I would probably leave the bed down most of the time, and use something like TV tables for normal dining (it's what we do most of the time at home). I'm definitely liking the fact that they went with something other that one of the silly princess queen beds. And the fact that it's not a bendy bed is a definite plus. I think it's a great couples camper, and if a person is solo probably even better. It looks to be extremely well thought out, although I probably wouldn't ever fry anything (no bacon?) indoors. No venting and too much glass in proximity of the cook top. Oh, induction is a definite plus. I'd probably build something custom for transporting bikes on the patio. Wow, kinda rambling. I think you're wearing off on me Uncle Josh! Another outstanding video and review. And as an aspiring content creator, I definitely appreciate the time and effort that you put into your videos.

Thanks for getting this rig on your channel. I suggest they move the wall so that the kitchen is bigger and the bathroom gets smaller. For me, kitchen counter space is more important than bathroom counter space. They could go with a single sink in bathroom, too. Also, I'd suggest a flat-front 12 volt fridge instead of the retro-look unit that sticks out into the space. And how about an option to swap out the queen bed for two single bunks that fold down from the camp side wall? That would allow easy access to rear deck even when bedroom is in sleep mode.

ESPECIALLY that back porch!😍Ditch the open shelf in kitchen very impractical, full upper cupboard would be better and I agree with you about the two sinks in the bathroom not necessary, put in another pantry cupboard instead and finally but most importantly make it towable! Like the concept. I think the layout could be better. I think if the bathroom was shortened by moving the washer/dryer closet out of the bathroom and getting rid of one of the sinks. The kitchen could be shifted towards the front a bit and the TV and fireplace could be moved over to be between the end of the kitchen counter and the wall between the bedroom facing the campside. The lounge seating could then be replaced with theater seating or something similar. The washer dryer closet would be where the TV is now.

I like the Murphy bed and kitchen but unfortunately not much else. I can usually find more positive things to say about the campers you present; your presentation is great BTW. It really does not use space well at all; his & her sinks a outside patio that takes up trailer space. They could of designed a patio the same way a lot of toy haulers do without wasting the space. Use the space for living area & do it like a toy hauler, or just build yourself a deck if you really want one on site.

If this was done up as a toy hauler, id buy it tomorrow. Slide under ramp(s) off the back of the deck, make the glass door able to open for loading, tie downs in the flex room since everything folds up already, and round out the nose so it aint so flying brick-ish. Think 335cg keystone... able to be a toy hauler, but not necessarily its main goal in function. Able to carry 1 motorcycle ideally.
