Is the "BEXAR" county sheriff is an elected official... Actually he is "THE" elected official..... The city of San Antonio is in the county.... BEXAR county It's not in the city..... The sheriff Has a lot of power.... Is no city policy can dictate anything to the bexar county sheriff.... The sheriff is not hired... He is elected.... Big difference....

The SAPD chief is a natural movie actor! I'm sorry about the officer's injury but I'm wowed by the chief's persona and his voice made me think I was watching a movie. What a natural actor he is, even though he's on a serious matter... I'd love to see the chief being a captain or general in a military movie 💯🙌👍
As a cop you have to ask yourself the following question: "Is my life worth less than a vehicle having made a couple of basic traffic violations?" If you don't pursue too hard, then they don't run as hard. You'll have less carnage. I have to agree with McManus with this. Is it worth you or an innocent bystander dying over.
It’s not a great job if you cause more harm to the community by chasing the vehicle than you would have by ending the chase and trying to arrest them later.

My father, sapd detective Robert Scott Bunnell, victim-blames his son for being sxlly aslltd while serving in iraq. I haven't heard from him in 8 years. I attempted to end my ptsd in 2009 and resulted with further disability, a traumatic brain injury to compliment my ptsd. Thanks, dad. I told McManus about this, along with the fact that my father ignored his next door neighbor molesting another neighbor's kid. Or how about that excessive force charge for the concussion I suffered getting yanked out of the backseat of my car while sleeping?
N stop giving the cops cameras they can turn off n public should be able to see the camera film they pay for lol the sapd hide the film as hostage or edit it n why do you let's cops cuss at ppl but citizens cant cuss at pigs that's against the law its self
So basically the police gave a camera crew permission to follow them around. Then they wanted to look cool on TV so they put lives at risk for no reason. Now the chief is blaming the camera crew who isn't in charge of the police.
