Only paid $45k for mine. Also, the 2024 Ridgeline gets the best fuel economy amongst all 2024 midsize truck, even those with turbo 4 cylinders.

They sold me mine at 49k after taxes and everything. However I got a lease and I am using it as a business vehicle. I gave 6500 down with 402 payments a month. 12k miles a year. I love it, fun to drive but does feel like an suv when you drive vs a truck feel like many of the ford trucks I have driven including the raptor. I prefer something compact, I’m a huge guy as well but I fit fine at 365 lbs and 5’8”. Since I am doing city driving I get 14 mpg at the moment.

Given that the bed is of composite material, is it possible to place a rail system? Similar to the utili-track system found in the Nissan Frontier or have a DIY rail system as in the Ford Macerick?

      Yes it is possible.
Vantech makes rails that mount on the top of the bed sides . And if you go on the Ridgeline owners club forums rails have been mounted on the bed sides like the Maverick system.

From the window sticker supplied with the vehicle. Yes, they start much cheaper. My thoughts are it had all the dealer ad ons added to the price but not the vehicle itself

I searched and searched. I was going to get a Colorado, then seeing the price of used frontiers i started to lean that way.
We found out we are going to have a kid, and other than fire roads to hunt i wont really be going offroading. The Ridgeline made sense so thats what i got.
Ive owned one now for about 2 months and love it. The utility it brings is fantastic, and its made yard work so much easier.
My only real complaint is the ground clearance. Weve already had a snow storm that i was having to plow through vs drive through. I dont need it to be a huge brodozer, but it has less ground clearance than my car did. Another 2-3 inches would be fantastic.Maybe the mpg as well.
I understand its a truck, and thats a trade off. But i purposely drive like a grandma and barely can break 20 mpg when i drive 95% country highways.
Its also a weird truck to me. In videos and pictures i dont think it looks good. But in person i think it looks fantastic. Same thing with the inside, it looks much better in person.
Its funny too compared to my previous car that had a pretty weak cvt this thing feels like a racecar if you decide to drive it that way. 😂
Its definitely the perfect truck for me, and the family.

I'm surprised and glad someone else finally brought up the optics in person vs pictures. I did not care for the looks of the Ridgeline in photos but when I went to look at one in person I was actually surprised. It looked more upright and squared off (proper truck like) in person. Why I really don't know. Camera lens effect or something.

@@adir_1 I still feel that way. I like to watch videos on it and I just don't like how it looks. Then I go in my garage and think to my self. Damn that looks really good. 😂

I might be wrong - not staying current on engines, but I thought Ford Ranger had Turbo 4 Cyl and the Frontier has naturally asperated 6 Cyl

The Ford’s base engine is a turbo 4, yes, but there are 2 optional turbo V6s. One being what powers the Raptor

Tested by TFL against all the other new trucks the Ridgeline got the highest miles per gallon. It’s an all-wheel-drive vehicle. It’s not a front wheel drive vehicle.

    • @GTGarageTalk

Correct, front-drive-biased AWD. Meaning it’s always sending power to the front and then sends to the rear when there is slippage.

Just going from the window sticker, which had options on it that I don’t believe were present on our test vehicle.
