There are no good guys in the war between the Sarkics and Mekanites, no matter who won humanity would be irreversibly changed in countless possible ways for better and worse but what is considered 'human' is null and void in all scenarios. In some scenarios the Sarkics win and create a nightmare world of unholy abominations trapped in an endless cycle of violent death and rebirth. In others the Mekanites win but at the cost of human free will, reducing people to little more than automated droids, trapped in a loop of basic activities with no enemies left to fight. In fewer still the Sarkics create a paradise of flesh, a kind of twisted utopia where sickness is meaningless, flesh is worn and as interchangeable like clothes and everyone is happy and united but in a way that is impossible for us to understand as we are, a way that's downright horrifying and alien with no morality or society as we could tolerate it. And again in a mirror to the Sarkics the Mekanites could win through advanced technology and the abandonment of flesh, entering a total technological singularity, merging humanity and machinery into a form the Sarkic thaumaturgy can't effect, creating a global paradise of metal and computers, only to have shed a great deal of what makes humans human, our biology. Without hormones or chemicals to sway our consciousness rendered solely in artificial neurons humanity collectively effectively become a mass of AIs, unrecognizable as truly human to their flesh and blood ancestors. And then in the vast majority of cases, the pair of opposing ideologies mutually annihilate each other and all of humanity with them. Out of control plagues, grey goo scenarios, apocalyptic summonings and bio-cleansing super weapons to name a few. All in all, in the Sarkic/Mekanite canon, no matter who wins, humanity loses. I like the perspective given by The Maker and The Beast & A Life That Was Simple set of tales. The idea that Mekh and Yalby (gonna call em that cause of laziness) originally had a positive and somewhat symbiotic relationship. It even seemed that Yalby was even more fond of Mekh in their tale. In the end both of their falls were the result of the two misunderstanding each other, they're both radically different from one another and this led to a big clash that ended with one's shattering and the other's imprisonment. It was a mircale that they worked with each at one point. I think the main difference between Mekh and Yalby are their tones. In Mekh's tale it was described that he took Yalby's ashes to create new beings while in Yalby's tale it was said that Mekh literally took a portion of flesh out of them. Mekh is more cold and distant, Yalby is more personal and close. Probably no wonder why the SCPF prefers Mekh more.

Hell yeah! I like the fact that you got that real life human meat market picture in there. I have seen this pic on RUclips before but it was blurred and I had to go Google it to get the real picture.
The reason i love sarkism is because it because it draws it lore from ancient Christian doctrine called "Gnostism" which the belief that in the beginning there were these archon entities and one was named "sarah" (wisdom) and each of diety like things had a goal that involved a like mitosis of the self, well sarah failed as she attempted to divorce her self from her self with out the "christ" this failure is a big deal as it is the reason earth and man is flawed. So sarah takes her child, the demiurge and wraps it up and hides it from the other gods, the demiurge being ignorant of its creation and of the true awesomeness of both the christ and spirituality is a flawed creator and immediately begins work on creating earth and humanity. The reason humans sin,the reason the world is hot and cold and hard and painful is our god is a failure, ignorant and stupid and arrogant. The demiuge's name is jaldibaoth(pronounced yaldaboth),the god of the flesh,he who without the christ. This is platonic gnostism. So the writers of sarkism being fucking brilliant draw from this unending fount of lore and it just gets me so wet.
FetchQuestAssigner4423 Sounds similar to that Clive Barker game: Jericho. Apparently the game was average but the story behind it was good. Classic Clive, shit scary body horror
Not really, there is no merging or undeath or loss of free will for followers of Ion - just a shared goal to eat Yaldabaoth, reverence for Ion and his teachings combined with powers over the flesh granted to ones followers. The followers retain their humanity. The dangerous stuff remaining from them are either corpses of the Klavigars(Orok and Lovataar) or living weapons and diseases they've used for war.
As long as TES only shows 1 (REmake), 2 (Classic and REmake), 3: Nemesis (Classic), Code Veronica, and 4. (Of course, the Outbreak duology and 7:biohazard can also be part of the TES videos as well)

What would the Sarkics and The Church of the Broken God think of Alex Mercer and the Blacklight virus from Prototype, I wonder. Alex Mercer and the Blacklight virus both very much so are made of flesh/biomass and use it as a weapon, though they are both completely artificial and would never have even existed without technology, plus Alex has zero qualms with using man-made weapons vehicles and technology in general when he has to or when he's simply in the mood to do so. I feel like they would both feel very conflicted about him and the Blacklight virus honestly. The Foundation would obviously just want to contain and study him. They're kinda easy to predict in that aspect.

As opposed to the anomalous nature of the SCP foundation, and anomalies in general. The small autonomous town of Anadyr in eastern Syberia retains anomalous status despite no anomalies being housed within it's borders. In 2011, Paul Steinhardt led a group of scientists that landed in Anadyr en route to an expedition into the Koryak Mountains to search for naturally occurring quasicrystals. Three quasicrystals have been found to date from the material gathered on that expedition, including icosahedrite, decagonite, a yet unnamed third natural quasicrystal, which (unlike icosahedrite and decagonite) is unlike anything ever previously synthesized in a laboratory. Steinhardt's team established that the natural quasicrystals were embedded in a meteorite that had hit Earth about 15,000 years ago. The Foundation currently holds no presence in Anadyr, though they keep tabs via information output over regular channels. The most peculiar thing about Anadyr is that it actually exists and part of this is copied directly from Wikipedia.

in there lore in the past they did just that mekane and yaldaboth didnt fight one another or even directly communicate with man anywhere near as much as the broken church or the sarkics they instead simply allowed people to choose who to follow but along the way mekane started gaining the majority of mankinds support and belif man wanted to grow to live among there own work there own hands rather then simply abiding and enjoying nature and simple animalistc pleasures and yaldabooth felt betrayed and angry at mankind for wanting to throw away her primal gifts and knowledge and so started to plan to devolvemankind back to the beasts she first made creating many of the BIO scps and mekane and his followers rose to stop her and her followers mekane sacrficing itself to create a prison for yaldabooth scattering her blood and his scrap around the earth creating many other bio and mechanicl scps leaving only there followers to fight for there ideas and attempt to free or rebuild there god thats why i favor and would in the SCP universe belive and trust mekane he wanted to help mankind so much but let them choose to follow him and gave his life to save mankind from devolution because of yaldaboths petty vengence and even askd its followers to fight and defend mankind agasint yaldaboth even if they wernt followers of mekane

Its actually from Gnosticism
Yaldabaoth in Gnosticism is an entity pretending to be the real creator god
Considering that Yogasoth is a thing, yeah.

I could imagine Alex mercer would be a part of this cult
Could be, Alex has flesh warping and disease. Perhaps as an archpriest or their greatest warrior?

Kind of something I've noticed with the loose canon there is. The Sarkics will end up destroying the world, but the Broken God provides a better future for humanity (or really the planet)
