@@carthage5352 *Description* SCP-3930 is a static void located within a 1km perimeter near Usinsk, Russia established by Soviet scientists in the early 1970s. SCP-3930 does not emit or absorb light or sound, does not have shape or texture, cannot be passed through, cannot be interacted with, cannot be manipulated in any way, and has no dimension. Through extensive testing using a variety of techniques, Foundation researchers have been able to certify with 99.999% accuracy that absolutely nothing exists within the region described as SCP-3930. Despite this, subjects exposed to SCP-3930 will invariably describe the space as containing flora and fauna similar to those in the surrounding area, as well as a structure somewhere within the nonexistent space. How individuals are capable of perceiving SCP-3930 is currently unknown, though several hypotheses have been produced (see Addendum 3930.3 for details). As SCP-3930 cannot be passed through or interacted with (as SCP-3930 is not something that exists), extant objects or entities cannot “enter” SCP-3930. Nevertheless, individuals who attempt to approach SCP-3930 and go into it will nonetheless be perceived as doing so by other observers. The moment the individual passes the nonexistent “border” of SCP-3930, they cease to exist. Despite this, outside observers will continue to perceive the individuals who pass into SCP-3930 for some time afterwards, until such time as they no longer do. *termination attempt* Item: SCP-3930 Tissue Test Record: SCP-682's tissue was brought into the void, and ceased existing. Termination Test Record: SCP-682 is introduced to SCP-3930, and successfully ceases existing. However, despite SCP-682 no longer existing, Foundation personnel still perceive SCP-682. When the entity is looked at, a vivid image or memory is recalled in the brain of personnel that is described as resembling the appearance of SCP-682. This entity has been observed "attacking" personnel, killing them, despite the fact that SCP-682 does not exist during these attacks. It should be noted that personnel killed in this manner died when their brains ceased to function, despite the appearance of "physical damage" occurring on their bodies. All destruction caused by this entity becomes "real", even if the entity that caused it didn't. 15 hours later, SCP-682 was found within its containment chamber. It is unknown how SCP-682 managed to gain existence after this incident. Once weekly, the contents of SCP-2305 will be altered with a new instance of SCP-2305-A. 2305-A a standard Foundation document, nearly always written with Level 4 clearance or above, which always contains a description of a potential method by which to neutralize a Euclid or Keter-class SCP object, typically going into great detail as to how, when, and where to execute the neutralization. In all cases, the attempted neutralization will completely fail or otherwise backfire, typically at great cost of personnel and assets to the Foundation, ending with brief section entitled "The moral of the story." SCP-2305 has no effect on reality; all documented neutralization attempts appear to be completely fictional. However, if an attempt is made at neutralizing the SCP object subject to 2305-A documentation using the method described, said attempt will fail in a near-identical fashion as described in the 2305-A documentation. Minor variations on the neutralization method have yet to yield successful results. Termination Test Record: An SCP-2305-A instance generated involving SCP-682, and has been transcribed here by order of O5-██. OPERATION FAIL-SAFE-TANGA-34 consists of the following procedures: 1): 20,200,500,000 RDS-220 hydrogen bombs and 750 SCP-2195-1 instances will be transported to the Moon, spread out across the surface. It will be detonated with 10 separate inputs at Site-19. Materials for bombs would be generated from SCP-2400 and collected stillbirths for SCP-2195-1 instances. 2): 300 Tilda/Cimmerian Reality Vacuum Attachments have been attached in an hexagonal pattern on the Moon, with approximately 35 km of space between each one. TCRVAs will maintain the explosions occurring on the Moon to prevent any debris from hitting Earth. 3): Area-0-TANGA has been constructed 4,000 km into the Earth and currently houses a large spheroid approximately the size of the Moon, constructed from SCP-2400 materials. SCP-1056 will be used to lower the size of the spheroid for easier transportation. 4): Amnestics would be administered to approximately 80% of the human population after detonation through use of a modified RED TALISMAN algorithm to produce non-lethal cognitive hazardous amnestics. Amnestics will be applied to every source of common media, such as newspapers, television, billboards and several popular internet sites. Result of Neutralization Attempt: Once the weakened SCP-682 arrived at the Moon's surface, all explosives were detonated. The TCRVAs successfully dampen most of the explosion, but 150 large meteorites still land on Earth. Spheroid was successfully transported to the Moon's orbit field and grown to its original size. Amnestics were successfully administered to approximately 78% of the Human population. However, 0.03 milliliters of blood belonging to SCP-682 survived the termination attempt, and adapted from it. SCP-682 grows to approximately the size of Saturn, and proceeds to destroy and eat multiple planets within the Solar System. "The moral of the story:" This is the way the world ends. When the corpse of the SCP-682 found in SCP-2935 is shown, SCP-682 began to vocalize a loud, high pitched noise for several hours while also thrashing and clawing at its containment, demanding to be released “before it kills me!” After this behavior concluded, SCP-682 was notably subdued for several weeks, before asking what became of SCP-2935. @@QuestionableObject SCP 2305 is a book of "recommendations" on how to deal with certain SCP's. Usually it recommends things that are guaranteed not to work and are ridiculous. However, when asked about O Death, it lists Keller came back over and over again in different hand written notes. This implies that Keller from many different universes came back to his original universe after visiting the dead world and caused death in his own universe. Keller from our universe stopped this trend by killing himself and his team. So in a book with stupid recommendations, this one was the only really serious one.
@@danielmunoz2220 Well to my understanding, we are not sure when this cycle of events started. We arent even sure if this SCP is an entity or something else. We can speculate that the world that keller in all these universes responded to are the same original one that was already dead and that every Keller until our Keller kept coming back to their original world and killed it. It was only until one of the Keller's decided to go back and leave a message in that original world hoping if someone answered that same distress call, that he can leave someone a message to save their own universe.

Jack Fox Wouldn't he have to keep snapping until the percentage of organisms left alive is low enough to be rounded down to zero? That's, what, seven, eight snaps?
That wouldn't happen, because thanos always halfs the population. If you snap away half of the universe, i. E. You snap away 50% of the 100% universe, the remaining 50% become the new 100% since it is relative, not fixed numbers. So, if thanos snapped twice, he would just snap 75% of the original things away. And if the snaps three times, he would just kill 87,5% of the original population. It goes on forever, and there will always be live. It's very similar to Zeno of Citiums Paradox.
Dude I actually love you lol. Your videos always seem to land perfect timing for me. I needed this, going through some genuine, grown ass hard issues right now...This is some escapism, 17 minutes of not having to think about something that wont leave my mind. So thank you, for that. Truly.
This is one of my favorite scps. My personal belief is that the death the worlds experience isnt an entity or disease. It's simply a concept. It has no life of its own. It's just death and it latches on carrying itself and causing death in whatever world it touches. Kinda like midas' curse but with death and worlds
Imagine it if this entity has existed since the beginning of time, moving it's way through dimensions a bit at a time. Week after week. A universe frozen in place for every day in every year. Spooky stuff
And if you leave, death will follow you and kill everything once you reach the other side. Although that'd be a good thing once an XK scenario is going on since it kills it as well.
@Birdman John 682 when introduced to the log noticeably freaks out as if it is aware of what is in the cave and thanks the team posthumously when it finds out they sealed the cave. Latter in the termination log where 682 is introduced to Dr clef's proposal, it refers to this scp and 173 as pieces of the "true creator" and says that it, its master and the king adorned in red (likely the Scarlet King) will all die.
@@miming3679 Both are in 682's (attempted) termination log, with the introduction to the gate Guardian at the very bottom, though that one has changed since I wrote that post (now it claims that Scp 001 is not who it claimed to be and the Gate it is guarding is not the garden of eden.)
I like how this mentioned that the team was weirded out by the sight of 682 dead, like despite seeing the complete lack of vegetation, everyone else dead, all the other SCP's dead, and because of all the termination attempts they know that 682 has survived they also expected 682 to have survived whatever happened at this site. I feel like even though some of them seen their own bodies, seeing 682 actually dead messed with them more. Which that is such a nice touch on this story to me.
Just wanna mention one thing: Reluctant Dimension Hopper We know there are multiple copies of him, so if one of him hops here? Grounds for termination, if you ask me.
@@TheObservingConstalation Mostly just dramatic effect, far from an expert on termination protocol, but I meant that because there is a possibility that he travels here and back, carrying O, Death with him, that is a real threat of him killing our entire universe.
@@blaisefontenot3570 No, but if he travels elsewhere when his universe dies and comes back, the next time he hops, this comes with him. Or if one from another dimension comes here and carries it to his home. @Fate DC And that only applies to threats to him, travelling to/from this dimension is harmless to the carrier, that's what happened to the researcher. There's no threat to the dimension hopper himself so there's no reason he couldn't go there. Edit: As far as I can tell, that is.
It makes you wonder... of all the creatures, anomalies, places and concepts. The Extinction of everything...was potentially just one human...are we the things the nightmares fear...are we to blame when everything dies...I mean who else can we say did this, when we see piles of corpses...we assume the murderer is the one atop the small mountain of death...and if all else is dead and the only survivor is one man...what does it mean?
Only other people found are dead family members: "Is Aight." Alternate dead recon team members: "Hey, hey! Look how Jerry died." Scp-682 body: "On your feet soldier, WE ARE LEAVING!"
Its possible and that is weird but those are all possible until the entire universe collapse or something then it becomes fiction until that though it’s totally plausible
This is absolutely terrifying. It's not evil. It's not wicked. It's a force. It's a facet of reality. It is the end of all things in the blink of an eye. You put it perfectly: "Death prevailed". Death won, and it all went silent.
Imagine trying to establish a colony there, instead of Nuking it. Imagine the isolation, the emptiness, the difficulty of restablishing civilization, while seeing corpses everywhere. The only danger that it could ever pose is someone traveling back through the cave
The only way there’s a danger is if a sentient life form crossing the boundary back into our universe, so if they use drones and machines to colonize it again, as a back up Incase our universe dies, it’ll be ok. But I guess it’s too much of a risk
When you ended your commentary and the quote "Now I am become death, the destroyer of worlds" was on the screen, I was just stuck there in a state of disbelief, I was just confounded, I was trying to fathom the immense and incredible story I had just listened to, this scp takes the cake as my favourite, not because it's flashy or cool or dangerous or does funky things, but purely because of how it left me awe struck by the end, you made an incredible video of an incredible scp, keep up the good work
"No wealth, no ruin, no silver, no gold Nothing satisfies me but your soul Oh, Death Well I am Death, none can excel I'll open the door to heaven or hell Oh, Death Oh, Death My name is Death and the end is here..."
That would be a poorer evolution probably. Power plants, especially nuclear power plants, are still running without intervention and prone to explode and make complex life on this Earth less than likely.
It's not the cave, that's just the entrance to the other Universe. The worst part is what Keller brought with him in each iteration everytime he exited the cave.
This might actually be worse than usual if that after-death awareness persists in that universe. It's one thing to be continuously tortured in worse and worse ways; it's quite another to just be lying somewhere staring at the wall, or the tablecloth, or your partner's corpse for eternity.
Personal theory; These worlds existed parallel to each other, and the cave was the divide between them that separated them into two different worlds. Once one person crossed over, the gate was broken and they became almost one realm of existence. Because two of everything could not exist at once, all entities from this SCP died immediately after the gate was crossed by the first person.
What I got from the story though was that Keller from the dead universe we originally crossed into stepped into his universe version of the cave. But that didn’t lead him to our world, it lead him to a different dead universe, unless maybe it was our universe in a future time?
Interesting theory but if two things cannot exist, why do the bodies and literally everything else is still there? If this was true then that universe should have just pop out of existence. This thing seems to be a multi-dimensional contagious entropy phenomenon
to know know that you are responsible for the death of all life in the universe must be harsh. ps this scp kinda reminds of what would happen if evil one in the fifth element
Were you watching cinema sins today on it too! I love that movie. And yea I always kinda laughed that the giant planet that could make people go crazy looking it didnt have a more fleshed out... well.. what it does when it comes to earth. Thts a good theory!
Full recent death of everything and lack of rotting meaning full bacterial death indicates something like a Gamma Ray Burst. A full hit in a large enough dose would be enough to cause this type of event.

something like this actually happened in the star wars universe as well if i recall correctly. sith emperor vitiate drained the living force from an entire planet. even the droids stopped working.
Darth Nihilus was also known for draining life force in order to satiate his hunger for Force/life energy. He completely "ate" the entire planet of Katar and wiped out half of the Jedi Council and the native humanoid species known as the Miraluka except for one survivor who ended up becoming his apprentice/slave.
I think this particular SCP would be a great choice for a fan film. Due to its nature it wouldn't need many actors and it's full of a nice variety of twists.
By far my favorite SCP. Billions of years of work, progress, struggle, suffering and overcoming insurmountable adversity... and then one little thing gets introduced into the equation, rendering all things prior to that moment literally null and void. Death is a powerful thing... no living thing we can refer to has been known to escape that final oblivion, so to think this one guy(or even group of people) just nonchalantly became the catalyst for existential annihilation of all biological life and everything reminiscent of it... scary thought. Talk about fumbling the ball.

I know nothing about the SCP Foundation besides what I've heard from you and TheVolgun. Great work man, very atmospheric, very spooky at 5am! I love these. You and Volgun should do a collaborative episode where you narrate and he voice acts the dialogue
why though? sure there's no longer a need to worry about dangerous scp, since they're all dead, but now it's just a dead world. No birds, no bugs, no sea life, not even bacteria, it'd be a death similator for you and anyone else who goes there. Not to mention, you're now a danger to your original reality if you try to cross back over. I guess you COULD make it work but i see no reason to inhabit that dead realm unless we were to take resources like oil for ex. from there via machines.
Just imagine: -aliens invade Earth -military gets demolished -run away into the dead dimension -aliens follow -have fun killing everything when you come back idiots

@@carthage5352 *Description*
SCP-3930 is a static void located within a 1km perimeter near Usinsk, Russia established by Soviet scientists in the early 1970s.
*termination attempt*
Item: SCP-3930
Tissue Test Record:
SCP-682's tissue was brought into the void, and ceased existing.
Termination Test Record:
SCP-682 is introduced to SCP-3930, and successfully ceases existing.
Here's of list of the termination attempts of 682 and A bonus termination atempt under it
www.scp-wiki.net/experiment-log-t-98816-oc108-682
SCP-2305 is a sheaf of US Letter papers, stapled on the top left corner.
In all cases, the attempted neutralization will completely fail or otherwise backfire, typically at great cost of personnel and assets to the Foundation, ending with brief section entitled "The moral of the story."
SCP-2305 has no effect on reality; all documented neutralization attempts appear to be completely fictional. However, if an attempt is made at neutralizing the SCP object subject to 2305-A documentation using the method described, said attempt will fail in a near-identical fashion as described in the 2305-A documentation. Minor variations on the neutralization method have yet to yield successful results.
Termination Test Record:
An SCP-2305-A instance generated involving SCP-682, and has been transcribed here by order of O5-██.
Item #: SCP-682
Object Class: Keter
Proposed Neutralization Method: OPERATION FAIL-SAFE-TANGA-34 would be enacted upon successful removal of approximately 90% of SCP-682's body mass, while incapacitated in a space shuttle that has been set to land on the Moon. OPERATION FAIL-SAFE-TANGA-34 consists of the following procedures:
1): 20,200,500,000 RDS-220 hydrogen bombs and 750 SCP-2195-1 instances will be transported to the Moon, spread out across the surface.

That wouldn't happen, because thanos always halfs the population. If you snap away half of the universe, i. E. You snap away 50% of the 100% universe, the remaining 50% become the new 100% since it is relative, not fixed numbers.

This might actually be worse than usual if that after-death awareness persists in that universe. It's one thing to be continuously tortured in worse and worse ways; it's quite another to just be lying somewhere staring at the wall, or the tablecloth, or your partner's corpse for eternity.
Personal theory;
These worlds existed parallel to each other, and the cave was the divide between them that separated them into two different worlds.
@@teamskrub2292 No I think it was a different one

By far my favorite SCP. Billions of years of work, progress, struggle, suffering and overcoming insurmountable adversity... and then one little thing gets introduced into the equation, rendering all things prior to that moment literally null and void.
Death is a powerful thing... no living thing we can refer to has been known to escape that final oblivion, so to think this one guy(or even group of people) just nonchalantly became the catalyst for existential annihilation of all biological life and everything reminiscent of it... scary thought. Talk about fumbling the ball.
You certainly have a good command of English, your comment looks like a beginning of a great book...
I even made a screenshot of your comment in order to look up some words in the dictionary later 😂lol
Sorry, I don't speak alien.
There are biologically important animals though. They can die, just not from old age. Dying from old age is BS anyway
Isn't this the SCP that was confirmed to have killed SCP 682??
the one in that universe
yes
It doesn't really count as killing as it killed just a copy of 682
+Double System it still counts
@@doublesystem9790 Fun Fact: when scp 682 was shown the "termination" log of this scp, O death, it freaked out and was clearly scared shitless but then had a bit of a relief when he found out the organization sealed the cave off. Whatever is in that cave, it's best that they never release it ever again.
@@pn5705 I had a feeling that 682 was gonna find out about this one
This is one of my favourite SCPs revolving around K-class scenarios, right up there with the SCP-3894/3895 series (which i would also love to see you explain, because there are a lot of SCPs linked to it and it tells an amazing story). Fantastic work on one of the most chilling entries on the site!
Elaborate more ?
Wow... This is actually a pretty well thought and made story. Props to the person/s who made this SCP alive and be able to tell its tale.
The best part of this SCP has to be that there isn't some unstoppable evil or unkillable monster that ended the world. At one point, all life simply ceased to be. It almost feels like a metaphorical switch embedded deep in reality being tripped.
“And the transmission suddenly cuts out...”
Google:” you know what time it is? It’s time for a Hershey’s ad!”
hey at least that's better than an ad for condoms
Ha, what are the odds. Right when you said the feed cuts out, my video cut out for half a second to buffer. I actually that was a stylistic joke on your part so I had to replay it to see if it was true.
Mine cut to an ad right as he said it. I jumped a little lmao
Dude that happens to me too WTF is that anyways?
See kids, this is why you don't divide by zero.
This is now my favorite scp...
The concept of absolute death intrigues me
This is exactly the opposite of the XK- Class End of Death Scenario SCP
This actually gave me the chills
Yet another djkaktus SCP (the other one was SCP-1730). He is considered one of the best authors on the site for a reason. I think I may ask him if the universal death is tied to Keller or not.
I know nothing about the SCP Foundation besides what I've heard from you and TheVolgun. Great work man, very atmospheric, very spooky at 5am! I love these. You and Volgun should do a collaborative episode where you narrate and he voice acts the dialogue
if you have a question about something i can help
SCP-682's corpse is such a wham line. It really makes it hit home.
Agent Keller finds everyone dead
Agent Keller:
I have become death, destroyer of world's
I'm starting to think of colonizing that dead universe.
why though? sure there's no longer a need to worry about dangerous scp, since they're all dead, but now it's just a dead world.
@@pn5705 Colonizing that dead realm is, as said by SCP Illustrated in his SCP-2935, useful in case the original reality goes to shit.
What if you cross dimensions and find this cave? Would it be the same?
@@natethepnda8528 It won't.
Just imagine:
-aliens invade Earth
-military gets demolished
-run away into the dead dimension
-aliens follow
-have fun killing everything when you come back idiots
"They head downstairs to where its containment cell would be and open it."
Me: "Called it. 682 did it."
"They find the corpse of 682, displaying no signs of life."
Me: "Oh... okay."
As someone who lives in Indiana, only in Indiana can you find a cave where on the other side everything is dead.
You right
The path there is littered with tweakers
Nah. That's just Bloomington. :/
The line “you’re death too” made my skin crawl
Same. I legit got a chill down my spine, felt like it was being said to ME.
You're dead,
and you're dead
and even you're dead!
and they're dead!
AND THEY'RE DEAD
THEY'RE ALL DEAD
DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND
EVEN I'M D-
Inside?
I burst out laughing at this.
LOOK UNDER YOUR CHAIR!
Everybody's dead, Dave.
You are already DEAD.
682 .....................died
That dimension is backwards
Ladies and gentlemen, we got em.
@@samuraijackoff5354 I wonder though... with death infecting anything that resembled life... what about the deities? Did they die? Did Satan die as well???

Could you do scp 3812 next?
It is a very interesting scp
Yes please do this one
YUSSSSSSSS. THAT AND SCP-3999 WHOOOOOO
This is a must
What is it?
John Godfrey Malig 3999 is insane. Literally. Good thing it’s neutralized.
SCP-682 is dead
Me: Wait..that's illegal

Very rarely do I come across an existential horror that actually gives me chills. This one certainly did!
That is probably the most interesting SCP I’ve ever read, even better than “What happened to site-13?”
"...and the transmission suddenly cuts out."

looks like Thanos was fed up and snapped his fingers twice
edit: oh shit someone else had the same idea
You do realize that Thanos wouldnt need to snap twice right? The snap only killed half the universe because he wanted to kill half. Therefore if he just wanted to kill everyone it would still only take one snap.
@@n1ghtst6lker02 Thanos would snap twice so he can destroy the stones
Im early, not too early, but early enough to think im early
You need a visit at the andrologist
Its too early for this
I wish I read this earlier

Won't you spare me over til another year.
What is this that I can't see,

another beautiful video
Why does this say one day ago when it was uploaded 1 min ago
@@mikeyc6643 Dude. Every time I make a comment. EVERY time. go to his patreon jfc omg
Fuck dude this is actually so well written. The thought that if that nuke had not gone off, and the team had left again through the cave their reality would also die. It gives us just enough information to infer what would happen if somebody would have came out of the cave. I really recommend reading this one over again.
I thought you'd go with that quote at the end. This one is truly chilling.
