I agree! I think a lot of folks (myself included) have favorites +/- 'not so favorites' when it comes to RUclips self help/therapeutic videos & the delivery of information, creators demeanor, narration style & even their voice. I'm a fan of not only her content but she's a soothing influencer if you will & " I feel like I can trust her" if that makes sense. ❤
It's always a ying-yang rollercoaster life but be mindful please be consistent with your master plans and activities daily 24/7-365. Thank you Doc, your wonderful ❤.
Thank you for all the knowledge, my life is heaven now, thanks to all the things you've taught me, thank you so much again and please know that countless lives are being saved and improved by you
My RML looks like this: having a roof over my head that's paid in full, good food, clean water, nature, music, art, videos like this one, coffee, chocolate, croissants, super smoothies and good movies. Gardening too.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience. It’s understandable that CPTSD can make it feel nearly impossible to connect with or enjoy the things that make life rich and meaningful. Trauma can create barriers that seem to keep you stuck, even when those simple joys, like music, nature, or a cup of coffee, are right in front of you. But it’s so powerful that you have this clear vision of what a meaningful life looks like for you. That’s a crucial step because it gives you something to aim for, even if it feels out of reach right now. Healing from CPTSD is a gradual process, and sometimes it’s about taking small steps toward those things that bring you joy. Maybe it starts with just one thing-like listening to music or tending a small garden-and gradually building from there. It’s also heartwarming that my mentioning the farm brought back memories of your aunt’s animals, especially the horses. Animals often have a special way of connecting us to moments of peace and comfort, and those memories can sometimes serve as a reminder that healing is possible, even in the face of deep pain. Be kind to yourself as you navigate this journey, and know that it’s okay to take things one step at a time.
Thank you for yet another great video!!! All of the information and knowledge I’ve gained from your video has truly opened my eyes and given me a plan to start being more intentional about the people and things I invest my time in. Definitely will take all the things you’ve mentioned and going forward can devise a better plan in order to reach the personal goals I have to get to where I want to be!!! Again thank you so very much for sharing such great information with us all because I definitely needed it!!! Will definitely consider all the aspects you considered ❤️
Thanks for these videos, they are so damn helpful! I really appreciate the work you’ve done on these. I’m learning so much. I wish you much health, wealth and happiness.
Hi Doc Snipes ☺️ I started a new job this week and I'm struggling with accepting that I'm not going to be perfect at it straight away. I hate feeling stupid or looking incompetent in front of my colleagues. What advice do you have for managing these emotions and how do I become more patient with the process? Thanks, Zara x
lol not doc snipes but saw this and have dealt with it so maybe I could provide some help. Perfection is impossible to achieve,. And if you consider it, it's a liberating idea: You can't be perfect, so it's not as though there's some right, perfect way to do the job. You're allowed to make mistakes, and learn from them. And since you can't truly be perfect, you can never stop improving yourself. There's no limit.
Thanks & good job. I came across an interesting idea once. The author suggested that a happy person has no motivation because they have everything they want (happiness). I'm retired. Being in bed makes me happy. 😛
I've seen several videos that you mentioned "rich and meaningful life". And I was like, what EXACTLY does she mean? Thankfully, there's a video about that!
Hi Dr. Where can we find you for counseling or coaching, bc I am feeling stuck lacking certain skills for beginning a career w purpose? it depends on what you put the attention and the importance on, at some point you have to make your mind what exactly makes you happy and stick with that regardless of external opinions
