When you find youself in danger,
When you're threatened by a stranger,
When it looks like you will take a lickin', (puk, puk, puk)
      There is someone waiting,
Who will hurry up and rescue you,
Just Call for Super Chicken! (puk ack!)
Fred, if you're afraid you'll have to overlook it,
Besides you knew the job was dangerous when you took it (puk ack!)
He will drink his super sauce
And throw the bad guys for a loss
And he will bring them in alive and kickin' (puk, puk, puk)
There is one thing you should learn
When there is no one else to turn to
Call for Super Chicken! (puk, puk, puk)
Call for Super Chicken! (puk ack!)

Cartoons like these (grew up watching Tom and Jerry, Rocky and Bullwinkle, The Inspector, Pink Panther) was why TV was awesome back then. You know how cartoons are sprinkled with little adult-oriented jokes that kids don't get but adults do? I just today got one about Super Chicken! You know the "Super Sauce" and how it doesn't really seem to do anything? I just figured out what it is! It's not a "super" sauce at all -- it's just the sauce! Super Chicken knocks back a good, stiff drink before going out to fight crime!
I think I remember my father howling in laughter at my dogged insistence that there was no humorous significance to the fact that the "Super Sauce" was usually shown being drunk from a martini glass!🍸😎😆

All I can ever think of when I hear this song is Rosario Fernandez an incredible Asturiana who would have me in hysterics singing this song. I in a misguided attempt to introduce two people I love introduced her to her soul mate my buddy Mike, and so it goes..... Oh almost forgot, I always did the chicken clucking.... clucking I said.

Man, imagine how safe the world would be if there were a real life Super Chicken fighting evil and protecting us! Too bad we ran out of super sauce in the 1950s 😩

6:08 "The Oyster went to jail to serve every month with an "R" in it for 30 years."
Warden: Alright, Oyster. It's May, so you're a free man for now. See you first thing September. I trust you won't take this obvious opportunity to escape for good.
