Minor nitpick: the "Disneyland" (1954-1957) and "Walt Disney Presents" (1957-1961) episodes weren't "colorized", they were *filmed* in color. They were shown in Black and white as color TVs were a novelty at the time, however some of the episodes appear to exist only in black and white as they were shown even though they weren't filmed that way.

People were electrocuting themselves, falling off ladders, etc., but the attitude of the age seemed to be that every man ought to know how to do every thing, independent of help from electricians and the like; this attitude did (and does) result in real fatalities. While each of my "Greatest Generation" grandpas did manage to build something amazing, these material things would have also been nothing worth dying over.

In the Postwar era the nation's prosperity meant prosperity and relaxation for everyone (at least all white men), now it's the era of rise and grind for our corporate overlords.

And, I'm pretty sure the science on early man is more complex, never mind the history

I think you should wait for the copyright to expire just before entering the public domain.

The assertion that mankind had nothing but leisure before developing tools was wild for me, because we would have spent all of our time trying to get food. Then I was really uncomfortable with the to-do list that was supposed to be our "free" time, and this is the very mentality to this day that keeps people in a state of un-ease, that rest time is actually time which we should be doing something, even if "clipping toenails" It's just wild to me. But the strangest thing by far was that the entire time I watched, I was genuinely unsure if this was gonna turn out to be an ARG.
