a rare cartoon showcasing Goofy's rise to success (trimmed for time to edit out the various full-length Goofy cartoons that it originally included)
Goofy winning that award for a motor mania actually did happen in real life too. That cartoon really did win an award on film and safety. Actually most of this whole story Is based on how far they went with Goofy up to that point including he was first called, Dippy Dog.
At least we know Goofy wouldn't ever drive like Mr. Wheeler does.

I remember this gentleman and the famous Disney characters. I love the 2 Mickey Mouse cartoons, Moving Day and Moose Hunters. I remembered those cartoons aren't on Disney plus. Congratulations Goofy!

Generally I don't like Goofy as a character, but this actually was pretty charming. Funny that Disney would portray themselves as a scummy movie studio run by "J.B.", but then the studio LOOKED like Paramount, so there ya' go 😆

I wish this and more classic shorts were on Disney+. So few Goofy shorts on, despite how many he starred in.
Disney animation is known for being amazing on television, similar to their film history/quality.

So i guess the cartoons in this episode were cut because if they were on here then the video would be blocked from containing content from Disney. Oh well it's a good thing i have it on the dvd of A Goofy Movie.

One line from that has always stuck with me from the first time I saw it:
"Don't step on your friends on your way to renown.
For they may be the ones that you meet coming down."
No matter what your goal is in life, stepping on others to get there will only leave you alone in your darkest moments. Being a good person and helping others may slow your own progress, but you will have those to support you then regardless of how things turn out.
I remember seeing this and a Goof Troop episode with Goofy's relatives both on my Goofy Movie DVD. Good times to be had right there

Me too and it makes me feel bad and sad on how Goofy feel lonely and depressed after failed to win an award which makes me sad as hell
