paul timbermans workshop, kenny's ice cream parlour, el chevito, big john's shirt and tie barn, switcheroo, lonnie bell attorneys-at-law, meatbeaters, j.c. penny, bris-O-tine, spishak mach-20, mcronald's ally mcmeal, hey it's ice from spishak
I don't think Will Sasso gets enough credit for his subtle delivery. "White pine is a wonderful woman of a wood."
OMG totally.
He was one of the best.
You're totally right
Hahaha ole will sasso, loved his video as Fred durst, keep posin
11:40... Subtle
Ah yes, Will Sasso. The Chris Farley of Mad TV
Way funnier than Farley!
@@youtubeguy22 That's debatable
honestly, they ahve totally different styles. both are big guys but sasso is way subtler and less physical.
@@kennethshiro9500 I grew up watching Farley. When Sasso emerged on Mad T.V. it was obvious he took alot of inspiration from Farley.
@@LlamaKingGamingslightly
Mad TV was criminally underrated
I think it was accurately rated. For every good sketch there were three or four duds in between.
Nah you right, the shots they took at SNL was even better lol
It's weird it didn't last when it was amusing but SNL has lasted decades without EVER being entertaining and always has an annoying musical at the end.
I think a lot of younger people watched it over SNL back in the day, I know I did and most of my friends did. SNL seemed boring in comparison at the time
SNL was garbage in comparison. MadTV was great up until the last 1-2 seasons where it just imploded from terrible skits/new people.
You can totally buy bullet proof coats and backpacks for kids now. Its always crazy when comedy predicts the future
Also Meat beaters is basically Beyond Meat and Switcheroo wouldnt be surprising to see
This is my first time seeing the JCPenney's skit. 😮 WOW. That skit aged MARVELOUSLY!!! That's gotta be the 200 year old wine bottle of skits cuz it's dead-on (no pun intended) for what's going on now. 😅
There is no such thing. nice try diddy
The people known for writing comedy are also the people in charge of the government and it's MK type programs.
@@catsabotage3362Exactly. It's predictive programming.
I did heavy construction. I watched a guy cut his thumb off on a table saw, pick his thumb off the floor, put it in his pocket and drive to the hospital. Ill never get that out of my mind. This is hilarious though
I lost my thumb as a mechanic.
The couldn’t sew it back on.
I still work on the same work bay.
I used to get flashbacks to it getting yanked off
But it’s ok.
The reality is those who do heavy work a finger or two is NOTHING compared to what humans endure in countries outside North America
I was standing a few feet away from a guy while he cut his hand in half from between his middle and ring finger to his wrist with a circular saw. He didn't make a noise. The first thing he said after collecting himself for a moment was "Do you have a towel?".
Happened to a guy when I was younger. He cut off the 1st ⅓ of his pointer finger. They drove him to the hospital but they went so fast they forgot to grab his pc. After they left the lead man called and asked if we could locate the guys finger and drive it up to the ER so they could try to save it. We did find his finger I was filthy , covered in saw dust and looked like it had been stepped on a few times. That said, they actually saved it. I'll never forget that , or the guys name. He was named John Wayne
@@fastinradfordable gnarly!
@@toddjones1480 Jesus. That's nuts
"Ya know...White pine is just a wonderful woman of a wood...A real fine country lady." 🤣🤣
El Chevito is a pretty good restaurant. But I do regret having my kid's birthday party there.
Lisa Kushell sure seems to be enjoying it...
Creation and birthday?
😂😂😂
This whole show is "You couldn't joke about THAT on TV nowadays!" central, and it's amazing. God I miss that show.
Pity isn't it? I still watch All in the Family
The whole point of this show was that these were things you "couldn't joke about on TV" _at the time_ lol. I've still to this day never seen another show that had as scathingly accurate celebrity teardowns as early Mad used to, lol. ❤
... Now I'm not saying Family Guy is funny, never mind as funny as this, but it does exist, and it does go stupidly further.
@@TheMadwomen -- that's the key word though lol is it goes _stupidly_ further lol, like just mindless and pointless "shock humor". Not the scathing-but-accurate commentary about public figures that MadTV did, which is the stuff that you literally CAN'T joke about anymore lol. The jokes that Family Guy does are things that obviously can be on TV since they are on TV 😂
Not the JC Penny ad 🤣🤣
‘Cause killings in style’
Times will never be like that anymore.
Jc penny is somehow still in business???
That aged well
@@cable7152Not really though 😕😞
Fuckin hilarious 🤣🤣🤣
That kid’s clothes ad was unbelievable!! 😂😂😂
Oh...was that a skit??!.. thought it was a back to school 2024 legitimate commercial 😁
That JC PENNY ad was ahead of its time.
Not really, we've been letting kids be killed in schools for decades.
i was crying laughing watching that one
Killing's been in style since 1999
It's sadly not ahead of it's time, we're just behind it.
That ad was for Columbine. America just never learns.
Anything with Will Sasso is gold!
Deb and Will are some of the best talent around. True legends
Micheal Mcdonald deserves some love as well
Debra Wilson did a very good White Face acting job for Big John's commercial Lol
Please, give me directions to El Chevito!!! ❤ 😉 🤣
I laugh more in a 30 second clip of a MadTV sketch, than I ever do watching an entire episode of Saturday Night Live!!🤷♂💯
I haven’t laughed this hard in awhile!! Will Sasso is too underrated! Damn I missed this show
I remember watching this show on TV when I was a teenager. Man I miss the 90s, we had no idea how good we had it. Would give almost anything to escape current year clown world and go back
I cannot stress enough how this man and the OG cast don't get enough credit for the laughs they gave us.
It's fùkin hilarious when he Plays Kenny Rodgers 😂😂😂😂
I don't actually remember what Kenny Rodgers sounded like, if I think of him I think of Will Sasso
And these were before he used that high pitched rétarded voice.
@@souulkeeper1384 Absolutely. Fear Factor was one of my favorites.
It's Kenny "Rogers".
You got it wrong and so did someone replying to you lol
Harbharbharbdingdingding 😂
God damn. The makeup artist did a great job of making Deborah Wilson look white..
She looks really cute in the white makeup...that said, she is straight-up cute.
her and sasso were the fucking best...
Everyone's fine with White Face I guess.
@@bwrpwr i hope she didnt hurt your fee fees with her false whiteness
Dude, i couldn't believe my ears! Fantastic job.
Those Kenny Rogers skits are effing legendary
Jesus. El chevito spiking their food with Spanish fly.
Spishak is an iconic American company.
The ice cream machine pouring over that little girl..i had a friend who had an ice cream machine do that to him.. then he reached back to right himself hit the edge on a tray full of Sundae glasses tipped it, they went flying and then he slipped to the ground,,, i tried feeling sorry for him .after i finally stopped laughing ...😂 the 3 stooges couldn't have done better
I wonder what kinds of commercials would Spishak make if Madtv show were still on? 🤣🤣🤣
Boy that switcharoo game doesn't seem like a game anymore.
You must be very young if you think gender-bending happened just yesterday.
@@JanetStarChild what are you taking about? I was like 13 when I saw this when it was new. This came out in the late 90's I was aware of it way back then already.
@@richardsanchez5444
Okay, your first comment made you sound very naive, I assumed you didn't exist when the show was on TV.
@@JanetStarChildhis comment is more about how we could laugh about degenerates in the past instead of supporting them through taxes
Glorifying bending in media is relatively new….
That’s what madtv was predicting….
The JCPenney’s is too accurate…
That ad was for Columbine. America just never learns.
As an Iraq War Veteran I never cease to question why the fuck I enlisted.
Spishak seeing the future with Switcheroo.
I miss old MadTV....
yeah comedy is pretty dead these days
@@ArkonBlade Comedy has always been about pushing the limits. These days, pushing the limits will end your career.
As opposed to the new Mad TV that's on the air?
“this will look great in a child’s bedroom, it’s beautiful to look at” 😂😂😂
Blood everywhere!
That switcheroo sketch would make all school campuses cry
My gosh the tie barn was hilarious
I’m trying go to El Chevito
I'm always pooping turtles, and never know when water turns to ice. Now, for less than $30,000 a year, one of those problems will be solved. Thanks, Spishak!
I just realized, the jokes have become reality - 2024.
All apart of the plan.
This was better than SNL
MADTv's worst sketch was, is, and will always be better than SNL's very best.
@@DalionHeartTTV Agreed, 💯
Way better
Whatever you do don't go to that Mexican restaurant for mother's Day.
I forgot how brutal MTv was. This is solid gold. 'For trillions of centuries"....
This show and early SNL made some of the best parody commercials
"I'm gonna give you such a pinch." Jesus Christ, somebody call the cops XD
That Switch-a-roo game really took off...
Damn.. this is like a fever dream. 😂
I remember imitating that ridiculous laugh 3:08,
when I was a kid.. 😅
Me too 😂 #1987
I can't get enough of it 😂
Mad TV was so much better than Saturday Night Live imo.
Yup. Edgier. Lorne Michaels has everything on SNL washed with a formulaic layer of sameness. It still has it's moments, but could be more.
SNL is still on unlike this rip off
@@Dragonwolves2016and thats sad
And this is still popular, unlike the now boring and reviled SNL
My wife is Filipina and they have Kenny rogers roasters when we go over there and all I can think of is this hahaha
I wanna go visit there
We have em in Malaysia too
That shit was delicious 😂.
That stick figure at 18:48, "for hours of dizzying fun."🤣🤣
I think switcharoo was ahead of its time!😂😂😂
The school clothes and the unnecessarily connected appliances are pretty on the money today. My personal favorite, however, was the tie barn bit! 😂
Ty for being part of my childhood will sasso❤
Debra is brilliant to remember let alone perform that song
👏👏👏👏
Damn mad TV really lives up to the name. Good lord.
All these ads are coming true today!!! Esp. the armored clothing, Beat the Meat and Switcheroo.
As a guy who lost the tip of his right thumb to a table saw, this is hilarious.
So the Tie Barn used to be even harder to find?
Damn, Switcheroo really caught on!
"LETS SEE HOW FAST THIS SUNAOBITCH WILL GO"
I remember seeing that Meatbeater sketch when it first aired, and I nearly passed out from laughing. And then that gassed 'Thanks Spishak." at the end LITERALLY floored me.
"Berrrr rot beer float"😅
3:54 Little girl got the worst customer service ever from Kenny 🤣
Meatbeaters fucking killed me... omg... I love you Spishak.
Always likes MADTV more than SNL. Top tier skits
They're right, Big John's is easier to find now.
Lol it's like Al Borland but with Tim Taylor's incompetence
Poor paul timberman 😂
Mad TV was 10 times better then
Saturday Night Live!
"If you're watching your weight, heh-heh...(shakes belly)...boogaloo." 😂
Wow, that J C PENNY act though.
Will Sasso is an absolute legend
17:23 this is the razor Andrew Tate used to shave his jawline
Lmao
Most of these would not be made today😂
That Kenny Rogers guitar tune is actually pretty skillful!
"Mooom! Can we have Home Improvement ™?"
We have Home Improvement at home!
The Home Improvement at home :
Holy shit, that JC Penny commercial was insane, lmao
Looks like the skit called "Swicheroo" predicted 2024!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
There's always been cross dressers, that shit ain't new.
Just United States 2024 😂
My grandfather lost 3 fingers that way. Always told us kids a horse bit them off. 😂
Goddammit i miss when comedy did not give a fuck. This is legend.
When satire become reality...
Wait, was that Debra Wilson doing Big John’s Shirt & Tie Barn?!? 👔 That was incredible!
And the bulletproof school clothes aged depressingly well. 😔
That Switcheroo ad would get the show canceled nowadays....
Respect for Will Sasso for actually really playing the guitar!
I miss mad tv so mhch.
Deborah and Will are so talented.😂😂😂
8:58 😂😂this would make a killing today.
Man! 😂
It IS making a killing today!
'why is there no ice in my libation?'
I remember when I first watched all of these but especially this one. I was like “how did they come up with this?!” Hilarious!!!
Sweet Nancy
Dang, those were the days. NONE of this would fly one bit today.
Wow! To this day I still say "I'm gonna give you such a pinch" and had forgotten where I got it from.
This is the only other instance I've ever heard that phrase- Looney Tunes

For anyone curious- the ice machine cost $2,433.45 a month.
$79.45 a day on a 30 day count
And a monthly charge of $49.95
Thanks, I didn’t want to convert that.
@@ironhell813 oh i did- had to know what that came to in conversion lol
I love love Mad TV..one of my old favorite shows.. especially this character and Lady Swan
when that style of comedy was fun and allowed to be shown on TV...
For fuck sake, just shut up and laugh.
Will Sasso is the best!! love the voice of the guy that does the El Chevitos too! who's the woman with Will in The Big Johns ad? that she does that dialogue/song and keeps a straight face and doesnt flub the lines....man thats skill and dedication!
El chevitos was aries spears and the white lady was actually deborah wilson, and she is actually black lol she looked a lot like nicole sullivan but she cant do what deb can. Lol
@@jeffc7486Deb is a legend. Aries too.
Oh wow El Chevito 🔥🥵😅
3:09 the gibberish always cracked me up
That 8,000 pennies a day to know that your ice is ready is $16,800 a month not including the $5,000 pennies a month for the maintenance fee on your hight tech, hey it's ice satellites lol 😂😂😂
How do you get $16,800/mo from $80/day?
How did you come up with a number that is so far from correct? 7945 pennies is $79.45, at the most there are 31 days in a month. That comes out to 2462.95
@doughnut1107 lol yeah I just noticed that. I think I just rounded it up to $80 & originally wanted to know how much it would be a week which is $560 & I took that & multiplied it by 31 because I was in a hurry lol
@doughnut1107 & I went with 30 days a month instead of 31 because not all months have 31 days
@@Milkshakes289 I hear you. Doing the math fast and in one's head makes it easy to swap stuff around like that.
Yoooo in all my years of watching Madtv, I've never seen the JCPenn commercial. They wild for that 😆
Okay, I love Will's impressions, but The Gambler ain't never been that big! lmao! 3:03
Why did I love MADTV's comedy more than SNL? That fact that it was made in L.A. was odd because, to me MAD's comedy was more for the middle class working stiff (and LA doesn't come to mind when thinking of working stiffs) who DID NOT want to be told who to vote for by a bunch of NY elitist snobs. They just wanted to crack a beer and laugh at something or somebody who's not looking down their nose at them.
Squirrelly Dan had a hard life before he moved to Letter Kenny.
Well, these got uncomfortable faster than I thought 😅
Paul Timberman is still just as funny as when I first saw it 😂
Will Sasso does an absolutely perfect Jesse Ventura impression.
This shits all over SNL sketches nowadays. They actually made me lol
The kids on this show were great.
"Hey! I pooped a turtle!"
***sigh***
I miss MadTV.....
Peaceful Skies
Switcharoo 😂 Alex was a kid! Also love the physical comedy with Sasso’s Kenny Rogers bits. Similar to early Will Ferrell and Chris Farley comedy. I loved Ferrell’s Terry Gander workouts that always ended horribly.
