great vid, just what I needed. like you said no one else was showing what actually fits. Going for the 6L for sure!!
Thanks buddy really Appreciate you checking out the video , glad you like it 😃
the peak website actually has 3 videos and descriptions as to what fits
Thanks for the info. Was especially nice to see the internal dimensions on display. I know you said they're on the website but I couldn't find them, so I appreciate that they're here.
That was a very helpful video, now I know I can get the bag knowing I can fit my gear in it! Thanks for sharing!
Glad it was helpful!
I'm gonna pick this bag up today or tomorrow. Black Friday price is currently just under 90€ which is crazy! I'm gonna get it for the same reason as you, just a small bag to grab and go out on the streets with my X-Pro3 and a couple of lenses.
Wow! Seem that's exactly what I'm looking for!
I believe you've made the best review of the peak design 6L everyday sling so far. Definitely helped me with my decision. Thanks
Thanks so much for that! I made this as i couldn't find one that really gave me the info i wanted! So i'm glad you found it useful! Did you buy the bag? How do you find it?
i can't even see the inside of the bag when it's fully loaded with the kits.
I am a 3L user for almost a year now. But now I am deciding whether to take the 6L or the 10L.
nice edit ! great quality !
Thanks a lot!
Good luck on the gym video mang!
Appreciate it!
Thanks for the review
Thanks for tuning in much appreciated 🙌🏼
This was really useful! I have an A7iii and was wondering if I could fit it in the 6L with very similar setup.
Yeah its a great bag, and definitely get alot in the 6L! Glad it helped you and thanks for watching!
@@IanSnape fits my a7sIII plus sigma 24-70 and Mavic air 2 with a controller and and ipad etc. So good
It obviously works fine with these small lenses and a bare Sony full-frame camera.
However, with an L-Bracket and a strap attached and medium sized lenses things get too tight a lot quicker than one may thing.
Looking for a bag for a small cityscape travel kit, I first tested the 6l sling:
A7R IV with RRS ultralight L-bracket and Luma Labs QD Loop attached to the bottom of that L-bracket yields just that bit too much height, making the closed bag bulge where the EVF sits and getting the camera in and out is less smooth an operation.
Both the 24-105 mm F4 G and 12-24 mm F2.8 GM do technically fit in addition (either one attached to the camera) and so does a small or squeezed air blower, but the result is quite a squeezed fit and leaves no room for sunglasses or any other accessory.
Using a PD Slide Lite instead of the QD Loop would reduce camera height, but more bulky strap to stuff in and the two relatively large clips to fit somewhere close to their attachment points, making it a worse fit over all.
I thus went for the 10l sling instead, where not only the sunglasses, but also a small 0.5l bottle of water fit with room for some other small parts and everything to get in and out with relative ease and no squeezing, which in my book is the most important aspect to be practically usable.
The length of the PD Travel Tripod also is a better match for the length of the 10l bag.
Yes but we are talking minimalist gear for street, I dont take a tripod or have L brackets on my camera. I dont want a big sling and most street photographers don't want a big bag.
I would rather use a backpack than a 10L sling as they get awkward the bigger they get.
Thanks for your input and glad your enjoying the 10L sling.
@@IanSnape While I definitely do prefer a backpack for both more complete gear as well as minimal gear for landscape on a long hike, I do not find it that practical in the city - true, there are ones with side-access, that you do not have to take off and set on the (covered with who knows what) ground each time I want to get the camera out, but even that I find notably more cumbersome to do than reaching in the PD sling (which is more of a tiny messenger bag or purse). Also easier to deal with when hopping on and off public transport.
I am surprised you even consider a backpack for street, and am curios, doesn't that catch too much attention getting the camera out?
Using the 10l I do not find it awkward at all. I admit, that at first, holding the 10l in my hands right after trying the 6l, I wished for a 8l variant in between them, but on a normal sized adult body, the 10l still sits fine and thanks to the rounded design it does look much more slim than all the other, shoe-box type 10l photography slings tend to do.
It thus does not scream photographer and also is notably smaller than any commuters' laptop messenger bag.
Having used it in the city, I am quite happy to be able to fit that extra bottle of water and still have the camera slide in and out easily.
If the 6l works that is excellent, all I'm saying is, it does not take too much for it to be just that tiny bit too small and in that case, going to the 10l is not as scary as it may sound.
@@elho001 Yes i did have the 10L myself for a while and did enjoy it but just found it not really working for me, so i can appreciate that it is a good bag.
When it comes to photography on the street etc i never have my camera in my bag its always around my neck and at hand so i dont need alot of space as i only carry two lens max, im also using a small camera and not my Sony anymore.
Back packs are great i use a small standard non camera backpack just to carry some lens and a coat if its unpredictable weather, I just like my gear at hand i think.
Glad your enjoying the Peak design gear they are doing some great work at the moment, happy shooting also buddy.
@@IanSnape Alright, so you do use some strap that you did not have attached when packing the camera into the bag in the video. That makes sense, then.
I was beginning to think every bag reviewer (you never see a camera going in there with strap) must be doing Pierre T. Lambert style camera handling... 😂
Nice video, can ipad pro 11" fit on this bag?
Got mine a few hours ago. Was going for the 10L. They didn’t have one. It actually fits my a7sIII + Sigma 24-70 & Mavic air 2 with controller and ipad mini. There is even room for more stuff.
Glad you like it dude! The size is super deceptive I think. Looks small but you can fit so much stuff in!
Enjoy and happy shooting 🙌🏼
You can wear the 3L and 6L bag round your waist as a bum bag, that's what the hooky thing is for, on the shoulder strap.
I was looking for a new camera bag about 3-4 months ago so I did a bit reading and listening to the reviews. I finally went for the 6L bag. To say that I am disappointed is an understatement. What a waste of money. It's cramped, overpadded in some parts and, in my view, poorly designed. There are no side pockets for a water bottle etc and the space for keeping your phone, keys and whatever else you need to carry with you is minimal as there is far too much padding in the front pocket. For the money that being asked for it, I'm sorry but for me it just does not tick enough boxes.
hmm,. let's review a wearable bag without actually, let me check my notes, wearing it. But please, tell me more about, checking my notes again, PAINT?
