Hey thanks for the message, I wouldn’t see why not as you are only taking a feed off the rx unit into the switcher. My thoughts would be if there are any similar problems like the atomos has as I have not used a Yolobox. Let me know if you try it.

I mean the G300 is made also by Zhiyun and also it cost £600 compared to £300 but I guess it depends on what budget you have. Appreciate you watching and your thoughts.

Yeah I was thinking for professional level DP,s , the price difference is very small but a much better fixture .

@ yeah, the G300 is slightly bigger and tbh most shoots I use this as a key 200/300w is plenty enough and this fits in my backpack. Maybe if I got another having the 500w as a option would be good, but 500w is a hell of a brightness haha Cheers for watching

Yeah that’s the problem, they don’t have a mount that’s universal. Either L, RF or FE all of which are non interchangeable. You can get L mount of FE or other way around. Thanks for the message and also watching the video much appreciated. I have only got the 27mm now as I don’t usually swap my lenses a lot these days. If anything i would say I loved the 18mm as that is a great fun lens for street work, and then you have the 56mm which nicely fills the gap.

@@IanSnapeI use premiere pro, but just stuff like how to get the “cinematic look” how you grade to get these colours or if you have a LUT etc and how you shoot if you used nd filters etc and any tips because this video looks amazing im inspired! 💯🔥

No I didn’t see that as a possibility, which is interesting as i you can control the DJI focus motor from the gimbal so surprised this isn’t an option. Maybe they decided to omit that due to latency etc with focus pulling and people moaning about how it is too slow for focus etc? Thanks for watching appreciate.

Depends if you want to use the VND, no VND you can get wide such as 16/18 but if you have the VND insert you will get vingette as these types of focal lengths, which is the same with most matte boxes with VND. Thanks for watching

Yeah fusion is pretty powerful, but I think you are probably right in terms of after effects being more specialised. For me it’s that davinci has fusion but in the main program and it’s so far elite compared to Premiere. The mask tracking etc is light years ahead of the awful version built into premiere haha. Are you using davinci and after effects combo dude? Appreciate you tuning in and watching.

Strange cross talk issues, which is a shame as i really do love these units and think they offer some exceptional performance for the cost of them. What a problem! I was just about to buy DJI SDR transmission and you write that they don't work! This is just a bummer! I have two atomos ninja v, and I just wanted to record video in the recorder and use the second monitor for monitoring, this really doesn't work at all!?((((

@@IanSnape I ordered two transmitters today, I will try them on my two atomos ninja v. My colleagues told me that you may have set up the video output incorrectly, that you need to enable crop on the output channel in the sender. And that 1.4 HDMI may be needed for reception. In general, they will come to me in a week, I will try to connect two atomos recorders. If it does not work, I will simply return them back and get myself a High Bright Monitor and DJI transmitter 🥲😅

I tried it with hdmi and sdi and on a portkeys and it worked straight away, when I plugged it into the Shinobi it didn’t fire up at all. Interesting on the crop I’ll check that out. Strange that they don’t tell you that if it is, as there are a lot of channels on this issue I’ve found online. Let me know thanks

Hey! Thanks for watching. Honestly I’ve had portkeys, atomos and all the others and SmallHD are solid and great pieces of kit. It’s kinda like the tripod debate of all these cheap tripods and why are Sachtler £3k yet everyone always ends up going with a Sachtler eventually haha, there’s a reason this stuff is used as pretty much industry standard. I really think with their kit you pay for what you get.

Yeah you can fully control the ND from the app, either in stops manually or set to auto ND

@@IanSnape I choose Nisi because they are smaller, weigh less, and thanks to your comparison I see that they have equally interesting image look as Vespids. I also know that they have less aberration, which is important to me.

I would always choose hard nd over vnd. Depends how wide you are looking to go, as 14/16/18 I would say you are likely to see some vignetting.

I found them fairly neutral colour wise, I think the wider angle lenses 25/35 especially do lean to a warmer colour slightly. Which camera are you using them with? Thanks for watching also

I’ve been with it about 5 months now and honestly dude I do not miss Adobe! You can do so much in Davinci and once you have the basics you’re quickly up to speed with it like Adobe. Download the free version play about with it and when you feel confident jump ship and enjoy life! Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts.
