With gratitude to you for this thorough review, we purchased a Camera Cushion from Kirsten. We are located in the States and were surprised by how quickly our Camera Cushion arrived. Kirsten is a joy to work with and - you'll be pleased to know - the Camera Cushion now ships with a well-padded strap. Thanks again for your review. The Camera Cushion was a great purchase.
I was looking for a cheap alternative to the cinesaddle, then started looking for a cheap alternative to the cheap alternative, so I could test it out. I ended up stuffing a cushion into a small duffle bag with a decent wide shoulder strap and for now I'm happy with my zero cost option, but as always more testing is required...
I love my CineSaddle. One thing that helps me level the camera out while using the bag is to add an arri dovetail to the bottom of the camera. I use a Kondor Blue 12inch. It allows me to better position my camera on the bag. Thanks for sharing! Good luck!
I think it's overthinking simple things. I have a £20 canvas camera bag with all my bits in there that I put over the shoulder like you did with this products and it does the job even better that what you have because I have all the extra bit in there - batteries, SSDs, extra lens inside the bag, so easy access at any time. Not heavy at all. Been using this for years and I actually laughed when I saw this "saddle" thing.

Ok, but how much did she charge for that one?
£100 I think, but I’m all about supporting independent businesses and not constantly looking for a cheap option.
