This is awesome! When playing back clips I cannot get the audio to come from the ipad but instead the audio comes out of my FX6. Any idea why or is this a limitation?!
you mind sharing how you set everything up on the fx6? when i first tried it, it worked. then one day it stopped working and i havent been able to connect ever since. it finds the camera immediately on the app but it keep saying that the connection has failed.. super annoying
I'm looking over at the next video of yours about the Cinesaddle and the Thumbnail says "Game Changing" in it. You may wanna consider an alternate descriptive wording...
Never have that problem, and connection is perfect every time for me. Lag is always an issue on these apps, and I would only use it for setup of shots and monitoring details. I have a separate wireless system for focus pulling, and things I need zero lag for. But all in all the app is pretty solid. I also wish Sony paid me or offered anything but they don’t unfortunately….
@@IanSnape Just to confirm , I was only joking :) re Sony Payment .. glad its working for you , maybe I have a dud fx3 , but firstly it will lose connection within a few seconds , this happens every time 100% , I have to re connect and its ok mostly , but yes the lag is a non starter for using , what would otherwise be a handly ,touch and manual focus tool it has.
@@donnybristol I dont know if my camera has a fault , fx3 , but every single time it will drop the connection almost immediately , second try it will actually work , but the lag is huge. I wanted to use the focus function but it's totally NG for that .

I’d say this is a limitation dude, it’s still in first phase of this app I think. But it’s a useful piece of the puzzle!

I tried this on my FX6 and the image was out of focus but pin sharp on the camera. No idea why.
That’s strange, could be maybe low signal issue?

No unfortunately this monitor control app is only on certain Sony models, I wish it was on others as the other Sony app is awful.

Sony must be paying you alot :) . It's very buggy ,hard to connect and the lag is unusable on my fx3 , iPhone , all latest FW.

I connected by making the fx6 an access point and connected via ipad no problem.
