Check out the group Pilipinas Offroaders, this group has a huge number of INSANELY MODED FJ's but not too extreme beyond recognition. I like this video.
I just bought my 2008 Fj Cruiser TRD pro and I am going to be using almost all of these as inspiration for my build! You're the reason I found my Fj! Love from colorado!
Glad to hear it! Question though, since there never was a TRD Pro FJ Cruiser, do you mean a 2008 Trail Teams Special Edition? If so, that's what I have!
@@FJX2000_Productions Its the exact same one you have! Hence why i went with it! 64k miles! Lots of underbody components need to be replaced, which is why i watch your videos so often, to find the ideal way to solve the problems i have found.
@@HIGHLVNDER Glad to hear I can be helpful! Be sure to check out the Special Editions video I did this year to learn everything there is to know about your 08 TTSE if you haven't already, and let me know if you have any more questions 👍
I loved your video. Super informative & incredible FJ pictures. I have an '07 in Cement color. She is an Overlander. Equipt with aftermarket bumpers w/winch, Fox suspension And lift, ViAir compressor set up, Shovel & ax rack mount, fuel & water Jerry cans, a Sparrow Roofnest & lots of LED lights so far. My next goal is to install fender flares & snorkel. Future upgrades I have been researching solar panels/batteries. Thank you for all you do man, I appreciate yah!
I just got a 2007 FJ It's basically stock but it does have the 3" lift with 32" tires. It's definitely gonna be a cross between a weekend worrior and mall crawler I've already started 3-D printing custom emblems for it 😁
Mine has a 3” lift and a winch that fits into the original bumper since I want to keep it looking fairly stock. I want 33” inch tires and the 16” inch wheels that came in the trail teams edition but economical situations have not allowed me to get them unfortunately..
Sorry to double comment, But as I was watching this i thought i should ask. I would like to keep modifications down to a minimum, but i want that "pillow" tire look. Is it wise to run 15" wheels with 33-35" tires? Will i need a lift for that? Have you any experience with doing something similar?
No worries, so the minimum wheel size you can fit on the FJ is actually a 16" wheel, so unfortunately a 15" wheel wont work. But a 33" tire on a 16" wheel is very very common. A 35" tire is also possible but you will want to read and study on what types of modifications are necessary to get them to fit. An invaluable resource is going to be on the FJCruiserForums.com in the wheels and tires section. At the top of that section are some pinned threads that go into all the details about fitting certain sized wheels and tires on the FJ, so check those out 👌
Hi, which of those builds do u think is the best build for daily and offroad? Should I get a axle swap? How much do u think will I spent more if I go for the solid axle? Sorry for the bunch of questions 🥺🥺🥺🥺 // Nice video bro really well explained 🔥🔥🔥🔥
It depends on what type of off-roading you want to do, your budget, skill level, and lots of things. For someone who goes to the sand dunes, their build will look very different than someone who wants to go one cross-country expeditions and camp in their FJ. So it all depends on what is best for you. If you want the most extreme off-roader possible, then a solid axle swap may be great. But if you’re not going to be doing that extreme of off-roading then a much more modest build will be fine.
@@FJX2000_Productions I'll prolly spent 50k grand ( ALL in ALL ) on the Solid-Axle build since here in my country the price is just 💀. Here in my country we dont have sand dunes, mostly some muddy and rocky trails 😁😁😁
Join your local FJ club, get involved with the members and see firsthand what you like and what you don't. Don't build a mall crawler please for the love of God don't do it.
I didn’t even know about the slammed FJ. If I ever make stupid money from crypto, maybe a salvage title build of a 2wd with a Roadster Shop chassis and a 2JZ engine mated to a six speed trans. 🤔
They are so different but still so beautiful and with combination of cuteness and rudeness 😍 design for centuries

Nice plug for Ken at offroad Hub. His SAS is awesome
Yep I shot him a message and asked if I could and he said sure! I like his build a lot so figured I would shout him out!

Stock with off road teardrop trailer, 2014 fj.No complaints.

Kicking butt with all the videos right before the end of 2021.
Thanks! Gotta finish as many as I can before going back to school!

+1 for stock, just like my 13TT. for how i use it, it's more than capable. great video and thanks for your hard work!
Really? +1, WTF this is not your forum.
Stock, bless your little heart. Its because of you real FJ owners can build something meaningful.
Excellent, informative, concise...subbed
3” Lift w/ 33’s, front bumper and winch on the works… guess im the weekend warrior lol.

Ay bro dope video.
Can you make a video with the coolest modded FJ in each color you can find?!
That would be hard to pick! There are too many awesome FJs out there!

Poor fj
@@notsure8900 🤣 Trust me you're not the 1st one to give me shit for that .. Honestly the only thing I've done so far is add a few light bars
No shame in keeping it stock. I've taken my 100% stock fj through worse stuff than 90% of these fully built out rigs.

How is it going?! this is unusual done.=))
Will 255/85 tires fit on factory rims with lift kit and BMC?
Probably, check out one of my other videos about that size, you can see that’s the size I run
