- On today’s exploration, I’m taking you down to the Gulf of Mexico to explore an abandoned $26,000,000 mega mansion rumored to be once owned by a powerful drug lord in the Mexican Cartel.
Built in 2000, this 13.5K sqft mansion sits on a whopping 10 acres of land, has 6 bedrooms, a 25 car garage, an elevator, and a full sized gym. If that’s enough, it also has a 2.5 acres of private beach land and a gated driveway that’s a quarter mile long for intercostal access.
It’s almost unimaginable that such a place exists, let alone, abandoned.
Despite the risks of being arrested for trespassing or the threat of squatters living inside, we had to see this place for ourselves. So let’s explore this mysterious modern mansion and get a taste of what it must have been like experience such an elegant home.

I still can’t believe that there is millions buried somewhere on that beach that they could not retrieve before they went and sadly died in prison.. They apparently told family about the money but they could find it.. Almost a billion dollars just buried somewhere on the beach.
what are u serious?????!!
@@coolu-zn9dr yes still not found to this day.
@@yfaofficial07 its now demolished dem demo workers may have struck gold.
@@yfaofficial07 then why aren't we down there digging lol
Why are you sad that murderous and violent cartel members are dead?
Your voice is so soothing ! It’s kind of therapeutic. Great videos too!
I love his voice as well.
It’s so wild to me that this place was built in 2000 and was only lived in once. Then left abandoned to be demolished. What an absolute waste! Do you think it was a Cartel mansion? Let me know your thoughts!
It’s public knowledge in the city. Look it up
How do you find this place?
There’s no whataburger in Mexico, there’s a cup in one of the rooms that’s a Texas thing 🥸
@@janethnavarro2497 We have them in North Florida.
Yea for sure cartel…house right off the ocean easy to traffic.
As a plumber/ hvac tech I would love to see you explore the mechanical rooms in these houses too I’m sure they are very impressive
Never thought of that, but I bet you're right
That is a really good idea. A behind the scenes tour.
A 100k worth of scrap copper alone
I hope you’re in legal cannabis state. Your trade is very needed setting up grow rooms.

As a newer subscriber, I’ve been binging on some of your older videos, this one popped up in my feed and I have to say this one is special. What a place and that view!! I absolutely love your content Jeremy and the honor you give to these abandoned places just repeatedly warms my heart. I’m so glad I came across your channel! 💜
Loved the mansion ❤ But that beach had me , blue water 💙 never seen something so beautiful ❤ Thank you !
Aruba is the best, and it has the bluest water.
Man you have really outdone yourself on this one 😍👏🏼
I like bro decay to tell the story about the abandone house hahaahah its clear for me.....he is amazing the way he tell the the story...and one by one ....accurately....there is some vloggers are sometimes if i watch there videos i feel dizzy and vomiting because the camera is shakin.....
Fantastic quality and commentary 📸
what music is being used in this?
Even not being maintained and open to elements it could still last a long time being built of marble and having a terra cotta roof. Wow that thing is beautiful
This place is one for the dreamers for sure. Great feature! The magnitude of the home was displayed very well here also.
I just love that " wood spiral staircase".✨️
This was a fascinating exploration Jeremy thank you for deciding to do it and sharing it here. UK.
That was exciting to watch this Had my attention! 😊 thanks for sharing this beautiful video! ❤
I’m new to this channel when I saw this home I knew who it belonged to at one time-my husbands ex-boss (he was an oil man) when they built this home it costed his ex boss $50 million (my husband helped build it-trust me when I tell you it was a gorgeous home once they were done with it and it was furnished-we’ve spent several summers there and I was mind blown by it) the home was sold within the last 10-12 years but don’t know who bought it from his ex boss. To see it now breaks my heart-Thank you for sharing this with us.
What town is this home located ?
Any ocean front place won’t take long to waste away . I used to live on the Atlantic ocean & maintenance is CONSTANT… and I mean CONSTANT. The salty air disintegrates almost everything
I had family who lived on Nantucket yearly and the constant upkeep from the ocean and salt was a lot
Why does it waste awY so quickly? The salt?
@@cp8626 Yes. Corrosive.
Great explore. Glad to see u partnered with Big Banks. Good choice. He's quiet good with a camera, very detailed as u r Jeremy. I like serious attention paid 2 surroundings.
Yes I believe this was a cartel home. Who else would have the money to have such an austentatious home?
Wondered what it looked like after the last 2 hurricanes,
Thx 4 the ride. Hope 2 see u guys explore together again. Much luv. Stay safe.
It's hard to wrap my humble brain around such a grand, magnificent, expensive home. I would never feel at home, it is just *sooooo huge!!* Thanks to you and Big Bankz for risking life and limb to take us through the tour of this once luxurious mansion. 🔥💯👍🏼
WTF all this expensive real estate rotting while so many people are struggling.
They don't give sh** about people affording or having housing
who wants a mansion of homeless on beach w no job to pay for anythung m but $ for drugs, backbends on Fentanyl sounds like a good idea pooping on beach.
Bc they bums they could get money for the house or have someone rich again just buy it off the state or whoever owns it
Government entitled property... They bait you they hook you... You buy land they take it!
That for you people saying people are in need... GET A JOB.. VOTE REPUBLICAN... NO HANDS OUTS.. LEARN ADAPT AND WORK.
I sure wanted to see the kitchen! Thanks for your input.
Insane video bro! What a crazy day
Man.. what a loooooong day we had hahaha! I’d do it again a million times over!
Hey Jeremy, you are such a good in this when you do, i really enjoy when you talk, much information much sense... thank to have you here ! Be health
Wow! You hit the jackpot finding this place! I cant imagine how much the upkeep alone would
have cost or the amount of money on just furniture alone! Can you imagine furniture shopping
to fill that whole house? You know they probably had to have the best of everything so Im
assuming the furnishings alone would have cost more than the mansion did.
Thanks for another great video! I subscribed after I seen your last one 😀 You were right
about taking that risk and possibly getting caught but we are all glad you did as It was so worth it
to see such a grand place! 😃💜💗
It's a shame to see such a waste of money when we have so many homeless people in our country. This is a beautiful property
@@barbarab1753 The world is a better place for having such a social justice warrior fighting for the people who don't give a shit what you think.
They didn’t have to do the shopping, they had interior designers do it for them. They just gave them a budget and what they wanted, and they did it all!
It used to cost $30,000 a month about
Very cool place, love the beach! My fave food was the one at the very top of the spiral staircase, what a view… 🙌🏼 Great content as always.
What a video!! It would be cool to see someone come along and buy it one day and bring it back to life!
It has been demolished unfortunately, I went to visit it when they removed most of it.
@@heyitsjay2201 oh that sucks!! It had such good foundations and structure for someone to potentially do something with it

They are called tray ceilings.Salt water destroys things but then you add hurricanes, and the property goes fast. Be careful of things made of wood down south, the termites are a huge problem on the gulf.
Great explore man. Really enjoyed it. Perfect pace, right amount of narration and complete coverage of the location. I’m a big fan now. Keep em coming
It wasn’t even owned by the cartel. Why do you guys believe everything you hear on social media?
Shame to see these places abandoned 😞 but cool asf. Than you for the video!
Another amazing video. Good job!
Cool video, thank you for showing us all through each of these houses, only thing better is having the opportunity to live in them... Investing away to do just that!
A super crazy good job on the video
Sensacional essa mansão ! parabéns pelo vídeo!🎉
Ooh what a place 😳 id move in 😂 thanks for sharing A N 👏🏻👍🏻💕
That's insane my mind can't even fathom the fact that someone actually lived in this place like this is an actual house and the fact that it was all built with illegal drug money is a whole other level of insane
Wow❤❤❤Subscribed❤❤❤❤❤i Love old gorgeous mansions,chateaus!!!😊😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
This house still has good bones to be brought back to it's former glory
omg that view of beach from house is crazy 😍😍😍😍
Immaculate voiceover vibes 🌟
Beautiful place...thanks for the explore!
A lot of that distruction is people breaking in and looking for hidden cartel money. I guess I should say at this point, no cartel do not hide their money in the walls but I guess some people hope they do. Thanks for sharing this house, it was beautiful in its time for sure. Also, the grand use of marble and other expensive building materials is a way for them to laundry money here in Florida.
I found pictures when it was furnished online. It was stunning!
Where are they...?
I thought you guys were in Mexico too!! Wow how sad it will be destroyed. Tfs! God bless you all!
such amazing drone shots!
It still enamored me how the cartels seem to think they can own 25 cars, build places like this, on zero real provable income or liget business and THINK they are on instant Dea radar.
It’s a beautiful mansion
I'm in construction, looks like people came to remove the doors and door frames, kitchen cabinets, ramps, flooring, it was not ripped off by vandaliser they were carefully removed to be re-used somewhere else
Amazing. Ty guys stay safe 😊
1st off, the fact that the history of abandoned homes are my thing. I feel the presence of “what was”……. 2nd, I can give the pimples and toe videos a break. 3rd, I’m watching the video on low at 2:58am…….. your voice is soothing . BOTTOM LINE, KEEP IT COMIG 🤌🏽
I enjoy watching these
I love all your videos, I'm watching every one of them 😊
You're awesome , Keep up the journey and be freakin' safe !!!!
The driveway and all the palm trees beautiful home
This is absolutely insane that the bank didn’t forclose and resell. Seriously such a waste of an immaculate mansion.
In a country as poor as Mexico its unlikely to find a buyer who can afford it. The drug lords are the wealthy.
People in that area must be really...polite. Where I live, that thing would be covered in graffiti inside and out in no time, plus everything would be stolen from the faucets to the copper wiring in the walls.
It is Florida. There are a lot of empty/vacation houses.
Hola 👋🏻 You have a nice voice, perfect for the show…🥰 God bless you 🙏🏻
Would be real cool if there are before pix to be shown next to the now. Especially the fountain!
I do ha have to say that place is beyond gorgeous reminds me years ago a show rich an famous homes.
The downstairs part of this home was actually a massive wine cellar - note the fan box on the ceiling. This was originally covered by an ornate wood floor-to-ceiling case. The drywall was covered by wood paneling, but that appears to have been removed. Was a gorgeous place less than a decade ago, and the sunsets are breathtaking😎 sad to see it in this condition now
How do you know ?
Yes! When I toured this house in 2000 I was shown the wine cellar. It was off the garage. Idea was to come home, pull in the garage, grab a bottle of wine and head up the elevator to the house 😊
@@ecb612s why did you tour it in 2000? It was just built in 2000.
@@joejones2847 they are neighbors. I was outside chatting with the grounds keeper one day and he asked if I wanted to come check out the house. He took me on a full tour. It was brand new, had just finished being built.
Pics on the internet....
Really cool I’m very much enjoying your channel
Thanks for doing this. My family have been going to this area for many years. Staying right down that road. I have many pictures with this massive beautiful mansion as my background. Wishing to own it, haha. I have even walked up to that gate, hoping to get a closer look to front of it. What a disappointment to see how trashed, yet beautiful inside. Hate to here that a subdivision might be put in there.
Where is it?
amazing....😯😯😯❤❤great work. 👍
I dread to think how much the land and then the building cost to make. Living in the U.K. I can’t get over how large your normal average homes are, but this place is just ridiculous in size. It’s not my type of home, I prefer period homes, but I can imagine it was spectacular in its day. Do you know any history at all? Thank you, thoroughly enjoyed this, ❤️
Hey Jeremy, really like your demeanor while approaching these places. You try to give life to the lifeless. Would love to have more of a historical dive into the properties (like if the owners died, jailed, court ordered , probate etc...). Btw, I think a lot of what was thought of as marble is actually granite. But who cares, it's all going to waste unfortunately. Great job and yes, be careful. Also I've always wondered do you ever see any wildlife living in these places!!?
That is one incredible house for sure!!! Wow!!!
Its a shame seeing so many beautiful buildings just left while there are so many people on the street in need.
That is exactly what I was about to say. Sad there are so many places. Homes. Buildings. Just empty with so many living on the streets. We lost our home. I asked the bank. I can make some payments. Some money to give you. But you would rather leave kids and disabled homeless. A house empty than to let me pay each month what I can. Then to have it empty n no money. Sad to see that’s what happens in the so-called amazing country.
Thank Biden for that!
How many people do you let live in your house. You have a couch and a floor. Stop being a hypocrite
@@RHEC1776Right? It’s nonsensical. Okay, let’s open up all empty/abandoned houses to the homeless drug addicts. That’ll fix it!
@@marymorris8442 Really? And who do we blame for your ignorance...?
Why would people Vandalize such a Beautiful Home? If you are gonna Tresspass just go and have a good time, Keep it nice!!
Love your videos and voice and mysterious monologues. Oh my Gosh is better than oh my God would be my advice. I know you didn’t ask for my advice so sorry lol Keep up there good work ❤️
The salt air is definitely helping with the decay of this beautiful house.
That was a great big home, the amount of marble in that place, juust amazing, Thank you so much, Lance
That is crazy to see something such beautiful like that wow and just to be abandoned
I love the compass on the flooring 🥰
It’s called the southern cross
The first take with the view to the ocean is just amazing how big that thing is plus the view and the ocean sound of the waves creates an atmosphere of calmness beauty and melancholy for what was, what is and what could not be that place is very nice 😭😭😭
This is the "GULF". Not the ocean.
Sick video bro!
I went there last week and they destroyed the hole front it’s so crazy there
Where was the kitchen? This was a fascinating find! Watched it twice!
The kitchen was placed to the left when you walk into the main room. It was right next to the red room toward the beginning of the exploration. You can see markings on the floor where there was once counters and appliances installed.
I wonder when it was abandoned? Do you know that
@@marvmoder8628 Other than it was a “suspected home of a Cartel who went to prison”-I think that’s what he said in the beginning.
@@harleyj5919 I heard that also but didn’t seem like there was any proof you would think with tax rolls would have a name for the county the home was in That’s public knowledge
@@kayemaxfield6271 I wondered about that. Even if owned by the wealthy many individuals lost a lot financially when the 2008 -2009 housing market, financial institutions, stock markets etc. crashed. Or possibly the owner became ill & or (God Forbid) a death occurred & money was placed in probate. We may never know the full reason why this home was lost. Thank You for your insight & information!
Hey guys thanks for showing us the abandoned mansion, I'm wondering if you were able to obtain original photos to show us the before and then after.
Yes! Would love to see that!
Yes!
Why is damage the big house 🏡 better leave them is Beautiful home near Beach 🏝️ shame no body sad ……😮
This one was epic, I really enjoyed it :) It really is a waste to take that house down.
Is this in Texas? I saw a Whataburger cup.
Whataburger isn’t only in Texas…I do wanna know where this place is though!
I found this place last year and was immediately in love. I dream of this place often
Where’s it at in Mexico what beach ?
Where is it?
I cannot get over when watching your videos that in every one whether rich or not, there is a story of how opulence or order are turned into ruins by a scourge, blight of society that urinates, trashes what is not theirs to even violate. Reminds me of an emergency preparedness/military expression, 72 hours to animal. Hell, even animals don't destroy their dens. This one was fascinating.
I can imagine how beautiful that mansion was back in the day
It’s not that old. All the damage was done in the past 4 years
@@hayesmentz4478 How do you know?

Jeremy said built in 2000
wow I could just picture it in the day all done up and looking sweet... it's a shame people gotta go into these places and trash it like they do and it is such a waste to see instead of selling it off to someone who would cherish it just sit abandoned like this... seeing that sun come in beautiful and such breath taking views hearing the sound of that ocean oh what sweet escapes that musta been like ... thanks for doing this video it was really cool little side note I woulda like to have seen the kitchen i bet that was gorgeous too ... have a great weekend :^) thanks again
The city in which this home is located just issued a "100% demo" permit on 1/31/2023. Looks like it was purchased by a property holdings company who plans to subdivide the land for luxury homes all with deeded beach access.
So grand ! So is the extra money you need to maintain this house , the bills , the staff , body guards , security guards, not easy being super rich
Hey Jeremy; this was wild for sure. Is the cartel owner in prison for life over this unlawful monstrosity? Just to think he got his wealth through
horrible addictions of drug users, O how sad!
Beautiful ❤❤❤ love to buy something like that.
I can't believe there is nobody trying to rehab this property!
Love Bigbanks!
Awesome video on RUclips
Absolutely incredible.
FYI there are dozens of cartels operating in mexico, so to say that the house was owned by "the cartel" is like saying that someone works for "the company" if you dont know the specific cartel, you can just say "a cartel"
This video will soon break the internet. I really want to improve my exploration videos! 🤙🤙 Amazing edit.
Is there any way you can find out who lived there and Information about the family? When I watch these sorts of videos, I like to try and imagine the family living there still.
Don’t ask

There’s some pictures online of Casa Lauren and it was dated…but had a grandiose chandelier. Lot is huge! I’m sure they will build as many condos as possible
ive been trying to find pictures of this estate before it get in this condition, where would i find ?
sheesh the house is massive! This Zombie build would be a gr8 project for Vanilla Ice & the boys! lol!
I don’t think this is a narco house cuz the walls would have definitely been all broken into to see if they had any cash hidden
Jeremy only speculated it was cartel
