Thanks so much for watching this exploration! I tried talking to the neighbors earlier that day about this abandoned house but they weren't very friendly and had no interest in answering any questions so I came back later that day to document this place. If you have any questions about my experience there, let's start a discussion about it! I'd love to answer any questions you have!
Hi! I just came across your videos a month ago and I find them amazing to watch. This one has me completely shocked because when I seen the kid with the white shirt and cornrows in the picture I was pretty sure I knew him ( I even went back and rewatched that part just to make sure my eyes weren’t deceiving me). Then later on when you showed the picture of Carl Woods it was another confirmation of the kid in the photo as his last name is Woods. Then when you were in the bedroom and found the Hernando medal I knew it was someone I grew up with because I was raised in Hernando and went to the same high school. I will try to reach out to him and maybe get some answers for you or if you would like I can give you his name. Im in complete shock that I randomly stumbled across your page and actually know someone with ties to this house 😮😮😮
Often, photos are left in abandoned places because the family hasn't moved far away. Those neighbors who were hostile, probably were family or inlaws to the family. They are, clearly, suspicious of "outsiders" in the South. They don't like snoops, but I imagine if the right person approached them--they'd open up.
Thats a shame. There is so much in that place. We're they killed in an accident? Are they in witness protection? They had to go someplace. Well if you ever find out, please do an update. Like you, Im so curious about what happened here.
Nobody wants to get involved these days. I guess you could try some OTHER NEIGHBORS. It only takes 1, to give the past history and information about the house. Perhaps someone who's old❓️ That has lived there in that neighborhood for a while. Someone who thinks that whole situation is a shame❗️
Im in my 60s and after watching these explorations I started seriously cleaning out closet’s and getting rid of most everything no longer needed. I don’t want my girls left with dealing with anything like that. It’s just stuff.
I'm the youngest of my family and had to clean my mom's house out on my own when I was 20. It was very difficult but you are doing them a favor. Write things on the back of photos if you can. I wish I took more videos but what can ya do about it now. I also wish I had her fill out one of those books on Amazon where you put in your memories, life story, or whatever the topic is. You can get them for mom, grandma, etc.
Couldn't agree more. I just found his channel last week and been watching every episode constantly. His voice is soothing, he is very respectful of the places and it almost feels like you're there with him exploring. Love this channel 💯✌
Thank you for that! I believe that these places are more like monuments of history and a window into the past. I try to be as respectful of these places as much as possible.
It looks like “Big Mama” passed away. Big Mama in the African American culture is the grandma or the older lady in the neighbor that was the “glue” that kept the family of families together. It didn’t matter your age, race, if you were apart of her family or not or what did in your life, you could always come to her house for Sunday dinners or to lay your head. She NEVER turned you down or judged you, she just loved you and asked if you needed anything every time she saw you. She would give the shirt off her back to ANYONE. This definitely looks like Someone’s Big Mama house.
Why would so much be left behind tho? Seemed like a big family or grandkids, from all of the pictures...You would think family members, would have wanted some keepsakes!
A friend of mines grandmother was the family's glue. I loved going to her house and hear her stories. She made the best fried chicken and collard greens. She had 5 kids and about 25 grandkids, so her house was always full of family, friends, love and laughter. She passed a couple of years ago and the family doesn't get together like they used to
That really got to me , I'm not black , but that just described my mom to a T. She passed last Christmas and I've got her old house and that feeling has never left . It's been 8 months and I still expect her to walk into the kitchen
I see a lot of people saying that they may have been a elderly couple that died with no children or family but you can absolutely tell they seem very family oriented and it’s hard to believe that they had nobody that cared for them with all the family photos they have. It really makes me think about what actually happened! 😢
Lived in California for a couple of years. I met a realtor and she took me to a house she was trying to clean out herself. She said the parents had passed and the children had come through, but didn't want much of their parents things, even photos. She was trying to give away things - books, tools, playing cards, clothing, all sorts of things. I'd want to keep items that were important to my relatives. Strange.
@@gx8841 Which is why I'm on a crusade right now to rid our house of most of the extraneous stuff. We're in our late 60s, both with health problems. I don't want the kids to just leave it to rot, I want to get rid of most of it. A granddaughter has claimed the library (2500 books) and a piano my son's claimed. Most of the rest of it will be going a little at a time until we are down to a little bit and the kids don't have to work at getting rid of it all, or worse, leaving it.
You should definitely look into a career in doing voice overs or something in that field. Your voice is truly a gift. Thank you for an incredible tour.😊
I can’t believe how many photos in this one. Can you go talk to the neighbor and give us an update as to what may have happened?? This one has me really curious because of all the items left behind. It looks like they didn’t know they weren’t coming back.. except for one thing.. the empty fridge!! Truly a mystery!! It’s sad because you can tell it was once a beautiful family home.. thanks for the video!!
They knew they weren’t coming back. I have had older generations of family up and leave their belongings behind for a simpler life after all the kids were gone, in all cases they left what they left behind for their children to do with as they wished, which is basically leaving the responsibility of selling/disposing all their shit no longer want or need to their kids who do not have the time or resources or care to do anything with any of it and it just gets left to rot.
I could listen to you talk for hours. Your voice is so smoothing and calm. I have watched a lot of paranormal channels that investigate haunted homes where the family leaves everything behind and are too scared to get the rest of their possessions so makes me wonder if some of these homes you check out were haunted which caused the family to flee.
My first video with you. I really respect the fact that you can actually describe something without using vulgar language. You have a gift. I subscribed to your channel because of the quality of this video & the quality of the narrative. Thanks!
THIS! I was thinking witness protection. They probably could only take a suitcase or two each person (hence the clothes strewn around). But who worries about cleaning the fridge?!
@@thomasschwarting5108 ...... Or maybe they just cleaned it out as a curteousy ....prob one of those situations where the kids could not agree on anything so they are all being stubborn or maybe none of them want to clean it out for whatever reason......could be any reason
Pretty much my thoughts as well. I see this house and think that there is little evidence that they left knowing they were leaving for good. I see houses in this situation and assume the family went on vacation or something, so they packed a little bit for a few days, but then they were killed in a car accident or something and nobody returned home. But the fridge... Almost like a neighbor heard about the theoretical accident and said "Oh no... their food is gonna go bad. BBQ this weekend in the family's memory!" and broke in and took the food, but had enough respect to leave everything else. It's very strange.
Most often last of an elderly couple has passed away and no children or close family near that care to have what’s left of their history. Always sad to see what’s left of someone’s life possessions gone to waste. Great photography 💛
Really doesn't apply to this house. Obviously, there were multiple family members living there and some of the bedrooms looked decorated for young people. And just because someone's shit gets left behind does NOT mean their "life went to waste". People are not their possessions.
To see all that, you KNOW there was LOTS of life in that place!! The REAL backstory would definetly be interesting!! So much stuff that HASN'T been touched, interesting. Enjoyed your explorations A LOT, thanks for the tour!!

Thanks so much! Each of these places are poetic in their own way and most often are sad places to see. I really want to show my audience the beauty in the sadness and the story that it can tell.
@@JeremyXplores You're most certainly welcome! You are doing a phenomenal job of it & I definitely get what you mean bcuz when you showcase these abandoned places I'm always wondering what happened to these ppl, where are they at today, have they passed on? etc. I can actually feel what might've happened w/a deep sadness & emptiness of a time in space, a history forgotten, or past memories for someone who may still be out there. Anyway, I'm rattling on, I'm looking forward to your next video.
Hi Jeremy As usual a wonderfully articulate and informative introduction to this explore. So very sad to see literally everything left - it does make me wonder if the family met with an accident.....? The time you put this out was so much better for me too - I didn't have to wait until tomorrow morning to watch it!! Until the next explore!! Gill 🇬🇧
I love the pocket doors in this home! So sad that no one in the family has claimed these items! This was a home where the people loved and cared about their family!
@@gx8841 My family has had a lot of professional photos taken since the 20's. There were plenty of duplicates to go around. Remember class photos or senior photos? How many did we get to hand out???
Wow Jeremy! You have the great ability to transport me into your explores with your excellent narration. The way you express all the things you see, hear, smell etc. This home was exactly like a tomb, all the family’s belongings are there, just the family is missing. So many questions. It also is amazing this place wasn’t destroyed & tagged. Those photos are really heartbreaking knowing a beautiful big family was once there. Stay safe out there
Jeremy I really enjoy your xplores, you make me feel your genuine concern of each family .I believe you really care about the the things that belong to the families. Stay as caring.

These houses are so mysterious how all and everything is left behind Almost as if the all woke up one morning and made thier beds looked at each other and said we are leaving right now and never looked back.Thank you for sharing This place with us and risking your neck on those sketchy floors.take care!! See you again😊
I watch a lot of abandoned home videos and I always wonder where the people are now. It would be neat to find a person who lived in one of these homes at one time and have them watch the video and react and describe how it used to be. It would be emotional for sure. As far as I know there aren't any videos like that. I just always wonder with all of the abandoned home videos does anyone ever see it and say "hey that was my parents or grandparents' house!"
I had that same bedset as a child. It's bringing back so many memories looking at it. All the cabinets, lamps, and compartments that came with it. So safe and comforting!!! Why did I have to be an adult!!!!!
This house looks like someone remained after everyone else left, maybe an older person. Kinda sad because you can see from the pictures it was at one time, a big family. Thanks again for sharing.
GREEN IS MY FAVORITE COLOR ALSO. MY BEDROOM IS GREEN, MY KITCHEN IS GREEN WITH IVY KITCHEN CURTAINS. I'M A GREEN BAY PACKER FAN,SO APT IS GREEN. ENJOY YOUR GREEN.
You know remind me of someone I would go exploring with long ago. We would walk for miles back in the sticks never needed a compass. That house sure could used good roofer a few years back. A good roof make a huge difference 😉
I love your introspective introductions. Your true love and respect for the homes and their stories is truly apparent in your choice of views, comments, music and your voice. It's a treat to tour with you. Please keep it up.
I love to listen to your intro's so much care and respect as well as any research info you find. I can tell you have a passion for these homes. Thank you for your videos!
Hi Jeremy. Thank you for sharing this time capsule. Wonderful explore. WOW. Your voice is always fantastic. That's why I love watching your explores. I wish you a Happy Easter. See you on the next explore. Greetings from Doris in Australia :)
I started watching your videos this past weekend. Your voice is very soothing. I am obsessed with old houses and the history etc. as a kid this is what I did. Explored abandoned homes in my old steel mill town. Keep the vids coming.
Wow🤦🏽♀️Jeremy… I’m speechless…the family looks as if they were leaving for the day…with plans on coming back home later that evening…so sad. Great video…wish you had more info on the family. TFS😷please stay safe and be careful!
Absolutely amazing find. One of these many relatives needs to come back and rescue all that furniture because it will be destroyed and lost forever. A fire would easily take this house down and everything in it.
Hi, first video of yours that I'm watching. I'm exactly like you, where it bothers me to no end when I see places that look like they just up and left and didn't have time to take anything. Like they totally disappeared off the face of the Earth. What bothers me the most is seeing pictures left behind. That's just so personal to me and it makes my heart so sad that other people are looking at something so private of theirs. I appreciate that you and others I watch are so respectful of other people's properties. Great video !
What a gorgeous china cabinet ❤ and those mantelpieces...just beautiful ❤ It's so sad 😔 to see a once well loved home abandoned and falling into ruin 😢
Great job of paying tribute to this abandon house and its former inhabitants. Heartbreaking to think of what happened and why nobody ever returned. You did a great job. Stay safe. From me in California💜🤟🏻😎
That is so sad. You should pop one day and look at the house from outside and if the neighbors out ask them if anyone lives there because you're interested in it or something. See what they say. Someone has to know something
Man, this music makes me sad for this family... Like, what happened ? Why did they left everything ? Where did they go ? When did they leave ? The water damage and stuff left behind that comes straight from the 90's makes me think that it was abandoned for quite a while...
This house is beautiful. I love the dark wooden doors, the pocket doors, and the white or cream dresser in the girl's room. Fireplaces in all the rooms, but the first dark wooden one is my absolute favorite with details etched in the wood. So many family picture's left behind, surely someone in the family would want those you would think, if nothing else. I subscribed after my second video, bc you are that good.
Those are one of my other favorite colors sea-foam green n pink.. fall winter colors it’s warm colors. So enjoy the older homes mansions castles. Thank you again @JeremyXplores. They are. Bape sneakers. Came out mid-early 2000’s
That first bedroom was GORGEOUS!! that bedroom set just amazing!!
I absolutely LOVE your introductions & narrations you give in your videos. It makes a person sense & feel the place that your exploring in a much deeper way. You do a phenomenal job, keep up the good work! Btw, Happy Easter you & yours.
This was awesome abandoned and decay house
It's sad see this awesome house sit abandoned slowly decaying
Just so sad....its like they all hopped in the car to get groceries and got in a horrible accident and wouldnt go home again :(
Thank you for your Adventurous Spirit and your work. I Enjoy watching your videos.❤😊
Gill 🇬🇧
Thanks again, Gill! Yeah, I've decided that Sunday's are a better day to post my exploration videos. I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
Where are you Jeremy? Missing your explores.
I love the pocket doors in this home! So sad that no one in the family has claimed these items! This was a home where the people loved and cared about their family!
I never understand why people leave their family photos behind.
Interesante casa me encantó!!! Que pudo haber pasado para dejar todo atrás !! Me quedé con la intriga!!!e gusta mucho como relatas tus videos!! Saludos des Argentina 🇦🇷.
This video was amazing. Beautiful but yet so so sad.
These houses are so mysterious how all and everything is left behind
Almost as if the all woke up one morning and made thier beds looked at each other and said we are leaving right now and never looked back.Thank you for sharing
This place with us and risking your neck on those sketchy floors.take care!! See you again😊
I watch a lot of abandoned home videos and I always wonder where the people are now. It would be neat to find a person who lived in one of these homes at one time and have them watch the video and react and describe how it used to be. It would be emotional for sure. As far as I know there aren't any videos like that. I just always wonder with all of the abandoned home videos does anyone ever see it and say "hey that was my parents or grandparents' house!"
i saw exploringwithjosh go to his old school which is kinda similar
I watch these videos of old abandoned houses and make up stories about the families that once lived there
Sometimes that happens but not often.
I had that same bedset as a child. It's bringing back so many memories looking at it. All the cabinets, lamps, and compartments that came with it. So safe and comforting!!! Why did I have to be an adult!!!!!
What amazing house cannot believe they left everything behind special family pictures
This house looks like someone remained after everyone else left, maybe an older person. Kinda sad because you can see from the pictures it was at one time, a big family. Thanks again for sharing.
I LOVE GREEN!! ive painted quite a few of my bedrooms that color green lol 💚💚💚💚💚
GREEN IS MY FAVORITE COLOR ALSO. MY BEDROOM IS GREEN, MY KITCHEN IS GREEN WITH IVY KITCHEN CURTAINS. I'M A GREEN BAY PACKER FAN,SO APT IS GREEN. ENJOY YOUR GREEN.
Beautiful house love the fireplaces I wonder what happened to the family so much photos and stuff left behind
I've just found you and this is my first video to watch and I loved it. Wish I knew what happen to the family.
Beautiful house
Wonder what happened that no one came back. Sad to see but impressive. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks you my friend see you soon
I started watching your videos this past weekend. Your voice is very soothing. I am obsessed with old houses and the history etc. as a kid this is what I did. Explored abandoned homes in my old steel mill town. Keep the vids coming.
Wow🤦🏽♀️Jeremy…
I’m speechless…the family looks as if they were leaving for the day…with plans on coming back home later that evening…so sad.
Great video…wish you had more info on the family.
TFS😷please stay safe and be careful!
Absolutely amazing find. One of these many relatives needs to come back and rescue all that furniture because it will be destroyed and lost forever. A fire would easily take this house down and everything in it.
I love the wood ceilings and the doors. I am a sucker for old wood work also. It's so beautiful.
Downstairs bedroom is beautiful. The furniture is so special.......Most of the furniture in the whole house is nice.
What a gorgeous china cabinet ❤ and those mantelpieces...just beautiful ❤
It's so sad 😔 to see a once well loved home abandoned and falling into ruin 😢
😢that dresser is absolutely gorgeous... i recently discovered your channel and videos and I'm addicted 😂❤ bless you Jeremy 🙏
Great intro to every video , your so wise with your words , amazing J .
I love listening you telling the stories ❤. Thank you for taking me places I would love to go ❤
THANK you for the awesome video.👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 I do appreciate it.🌻😊
Great job of paying tribute to this abandon house and its former inhabitants.
I just love your voice and narration. So soothing and beautiful.
You did such an excellent job on this video, thank you for sharing. Your commentary was wonderful and exactly what I was thinking as you explored.
THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL PLACE. FULL OF LOVE.
15:31 lol crazy light refraction it looks the lamp in the corner is turned on!
Wonderful some of the prettiest things I have ever seen thank you !
Your videos so good and heartfelt 💛💛💛
Great video love the narration at the beginning..be careful out there by yourself. Till next time
What a shame. It’s such a beautiful home.
What a beautiful house with lovely features. Pocket doors and fireplaces! Maybe they went back to their home country?
Man, this music makes me sad for this family... Like, what happened ? Why did they left everything ? Where did they go ? When did they leave ? The water damage and stuff left behind that comes straight from the 90's makes me think that it was abandoned for quite a while...
Aww ❤ you're so respectful 🙏 love it
This house is beautiful.
I love how u did your videos and narrative it too...
Just found your channel. Wow - thank you!
Those are one of my other favorite colors sea-foam green n pink.. fall winter colors it’s warm colors. So enjoy the older homes mansions castles. Thank you again @JeremyXplores. Your amazing when I hear you speak how the History’s of each home you enter you can see in the past of hat they were doing but the mystery is why did they leave what happened to the family or Families???
It really makes me so sad I hurt to see all the abandoned homes..
Stay Safe Jeremy I Pray the Heavenly Angels Hedge of Protection over You Blessings.
Thank you Thank you❤️❤️❤️❤️
I Pray for them all 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾😞😞😔😔😥😥💔💔💔

The whole time watching this video, I kept thinking go talk to the neighbor. He's probably lived there his entire life. Great video, you are very brave!
The ininside of the house beautiful
