Hey Brian, First thing is you're not a hack. A hack wouldn't give a crap even if he knew it was wrong. We all make mistakes and you went back and fixed your's and made a video. That's shows us what kind of integrity you have.
He's right. Doing the right thing when no one is watching is integrity. Taking responsibility knowing the customer doesn't know and you could walk away but you didn't. We need more honesty like you.

I had a situation where I used an appliance cord and wasn’t aware of the risk of reverse polarity. Learned later the neutral is always marked. Went back and I had it right but it was just luck. You learn the most permanent lessons through errors. Kudos to you and your followers for acting together to make it right.
If you were a "hack" you would have not cared to fix the mistake. By you admitting you made a mistake and going to fix it makes you the kind of guy I would want doing work for me if I needed it, shows good character and honesty.
I have to ask people to move stuff often and tell them over communications have the space clear. If I get there and they don't I make a audio recording saying I'm not liable for damage to property around the work area and stick that with thr pictures of that job. I've only had one person claim I stolen or broke something and when I showed the property management company all the evidence they told the tenant to kick rocks.

In my head I was watching that and thinking when does the job end? You should get the klein offset lock ring wrench set for a whopping $15. I only carry the 1/2in and I can still do 3/4 with it once you get use to it. You should absolutely carry a ecx 1 screwdriver with you or at least that klein flip installed screwdriver they have a square / slotted blade for it. I applaud you for putting lock rings on things it's stupid stuff like that causes issues down the road. I find if there's something unsettling or you need to make a correction all you have to do is call them back and say there's something you gotta check and it won't cost them extra. Most people like service like that and you don't look like a fool. Consider getting a volt claw 2 for kicks lightweight takes little space and it's insurance in boxes. I use the voltclaw to keep my hands from getting tired too pushing wire double duty! I really wish you the best and if .2 lbs and $45 for all 3 of thoes keeps you safe best believe it's worth it.

I'm not thr cheapest but om far less than a electrician (I do have a state LME) so I'm not flying blind and have the appropriate insurances. This is why I do sooooo much electrical! Hey Brian another thing happened to me was I replacing a GFI in my friends backyard. Hook all three wires to gfi. Man I was ready to go. I pushed the gfi recpt ground fault button. It tripped. Next I plugged my gfi tester in the outlet push the button. No trip. The ground didn’t go all the way from recept to house. Bummer ! Long story short I learned that the ground wire carries current back to box at house when using gfi checker. Won’t tell you how long it took me to fix problem. Should have checked if I had a good ground at the start.
I remember a trick for thoes cover plates on the empty breaker spots that I forgot to say on last video. We use to wrap rubber bands on the tabs on the end to "shim" them out and they click in nicely. It's definitely a cheap fix and I know my local inspector would flag a glued on cover and rip it off. Not a cirque just a helpful tip for next time!

Like Morgan's maintenance and rays apartment maintenence they grew so fast and that's because they were attentive with there community. last I seen per NEC code, it's never allowed, same with neutral and ground bars, one wire per lug screw. now some manufactures rate and claim they can handle multiple conductors per lug. technically, they should never have more than one per NEC, local codes may or may not allow it now and at one point it was very common to see.
It's allowed so long as the manufacturer allows and designs the breaker to be double tapped. Square d breakers are manufactured to be double tapped, hence the two slots under the lug@@throttlebottle5906

I was talked to pigtail from the ground to one of the neutral sides of the receptacle itself to close the circuit. Far from an electrician don't know if that's right or not but it will read accurately if you put a tester on it

Even if a square d breaker is designed for 2 wires....still in my opinion should not be done....mabey use a tandem breaker....a double tap is a double tap....
For some reason I always thought two Romex cables could go through a half inch knockout as long as the package they come in say it’s okay. If someone one knows for sure I would appreciate the info. I might have to go back to a few boxes. 😁
In Texas you need to be a licensed electrical contractor to do that kind of work. Handy man service can be fined if they don't have the proper license.
A grounded GFI is better than no ground next to water. The voltage is not going through a step down transformer or nothing. It can not possibly be good to have 120VAC next to water.

Maybe it's just me but I were having a contractor over to work in my bathroom I think I would at least clear out all my personal items. Kudos.

Here in Ontario, you can't do electrical work unless you own the property or have an electrician license. Not worth the risk for a handyman.

Or just a little electrical tape cut to long strips. Same idea as the rubber band but won’t dry out and crack over the years. Great stuff!

13:30.....You can put 2 sets of romex in a 3/8 connector (1/2 clamp connector). You can on 14/2 on specifications on halex not sure on the 12/2...
You also need to put labels on the cover of the GFI outlet that says GFI protected and that it is a non grounded outlet
