Daffy I have this and it rocks you can do alot of different things with it. This connects to the laptop. I had to buy a usb hub so I can plug my HD and dicer into the laptop the other usb is being used by serato. It sells for 100 bucks.
I got the dicers and their soo useful and fun! Recommend any DJ out there to get them! Their only 100 bucks! Huge investment to your setup! Plus you can use MIDI Mapping so you can add your samples, effects, anything you want.
@tuniturntablist - guess they will not admit it but yes (virtual dj functionalities)... that is exactly what it does... playing with in relative mode in serato without the use of your decks functionality sucks, ............plus its an excellent addition to turntables....its very innovative too (you will soon see a lot of virtual dj things in serato.. that is the way the world is going... great way to merge midi too

can I use dicer with a Vestax PMC 05 Pro 2? or is a midi mixer necessary?
I still use my old 06 pro mate. yes they bipass the mixer amd connect directly to the laptop via a single USB
