Thought to share this for others like me: DJ Putty available on Ebay Australia. I was looking around for it for a while. I'll see if I can find the direct link.
@XxCycoNessxX Hi. I just saw another video about these things & the guy said they're meant for Serato but they can be used with any other software which is MIDI capable. He mentioned Traktor but since he said any other software I assume it should work with Virtual DJ too. Peace.
mine where roughly 69 pound in the uk so im not sure which is the better value or even where they come from. but yeah you can spend a lot of money on digital mixers from rane etc but this is the best value midi controller for scratch djs ever.
i have the same setup, i use serato. i put 1 dicer on my turntable and stick the second one on my mac's corner surface and set it up master is on turn table and slave on laptop. this way i can dj using instant doubles (enable it on serato setup options) then the slave is always on yellow for exiting loops, then if you press at the same time the small yellow button and the 5th button next to it, it will do the copy/paste of the song you are playing to the internal deck side.
great tutorial! Better than anything I've seen off the novation website!
Thanks for the review .. I had seen a pic of these and didn't know what they were!!
Nice tip! Since Guitar Center always tries to sell you the "earthquake insurance".
Great Video And straight to the point thanx alot
nice video thinking of getting a pair too...
@pleedthe1 those are technics 1200s
you ever use products from native instruments?
if i set one of the dicer cues on a song, could i play a DIFFERENT song, then click the dicer button and play the other song's cue right away?
you scratch the left deck with your right hand??

what vynls use you???
Wow I didn't know they did all that stuff! :]
I'm new into this midi stuff.. is a midi mixer necessary to use dicer? or can use a simple vestax pmc 05 pro 2?
maninscratch Hey pal, MIDI stands for Music Instrument Digital Interface. Basically you can just plug and play majority of devices are USB powered.

these things are cool when they work...they do get unresponsive sometimes
If I've only got 1 turntable hooked up to a mixer, can I still use a dicer, or does it need to be hooked up to 2?

can i use them w numark mixtrack
good overview thx
sweet final the video
Okay word... you only need to plug in one of them to computer. I was thinking I was gonna have to get a USB hub as well.
thats a really interesting point. if you wanted to you could daisy chain more than two dicers maybe using the 4 decks in traktor.
On sale at Amazon for $69.99
