But the part that brandon wrote about how he become a trainer of homeless dogs makes me cry. It wakes me up and force me to think hard about what i'm doing in my life right now. He was willing to risk his job for what he believed : every homeless dog must have hope and a home. He committed to his promise that he would help saving lives. He never gave up and willing to sacrifice his secure career for it. That part alone changed my life, not even mention all dogs' stories he told throughout the book. They are all inspirational.
It's highly effective but it can create a bit of a dependency that you have to train out of them. From what I'm observing you can kick that cling while training off-leash, you reward the independence but also the behavior of her checking in.
I wouldn’t recommend leaving the Leash on dog while it’s running. I did that with my pit mix 6 months ago it wrapped around her back leg and caused her to rip her tendon in knee. Another great video thanks.
We took in a Pitbull stray 7 months ago and realized how much exercise they need. So much so that we have considered giving up at times. The information on your channel for training, play, and food has been a boost for hope in our situation. We are nearing our senior years so this will make it easier to care for him. We are lucky that he was trained pretty well on food aggression and we have continued those behaviors. We will be buying some of the toys for playing as he craves tugging. We use that play to desensitize people touching his head and think the pull spring will help us provide him the energy release he craves. We definitely will be incorporating raw food in his diet as well. Thank you
Overall, just make sure the dawg is at least gettin walked. 2 or more (1 mile or longer),walks a day. They also need to smell scents and be allowed to relax on part of the walk. VERY IMPORTANT for apartment dawgs! An exercised dawg rarely mis-behaves.

SunshineHurricaneMix because that’s a pit bull we are talking about a whole lot are sweet and nice but what if a man over came to rob your house? That’s one of the main reasons why people have pit bulls to protect us as a guard dog but also as a pet they are such a nice breed I want mines tough and scary but also sweet and nice but not as nice as welcoming robbers but not as scary to the point it makes visitors uncomfortable
SunshineHurricaneMix I’m getting a pit as an esa (emotional support animal) and in order for me to feel safe I need a large breed dog or muscular dog. As I have anxiety and that makes me feel safer
Using these for my Staffie/Lab/mystery shelter mutt, thank you. At 90 days she's showing a ton of natural muscle and a propensity for digging, running, jumping, climbing and even weight training. Just got a puppy. (9 weeks old) Her father is a full blooded bull mastiff (registered) The dam is a full blooded American standard pit bulldog.(Also papered) She has incredible bite strength for a pup. BIKING!!! I live in the Netherlands, so from my experience with any dog (I now have a Red Nose Pit, but have done this with Podenco and Kooiker-dogs too)- BIKING! If you live in a flat-land area like Holland or Calgary you can take your dog on a extending leash and have them run alongside you. They might have to apply at first if they are used to sidewalks but just remind them of staying close and you and your dog should be allright. Fun is that you can adjust the pace very easily. Very soon it will only give them more energy instead of getting them tired!!
Any dog could do this, for the pulling, start he or she out light (I just let my dog pull me, I'm around 100 lbs, in a standard toddler wagon XD) but this could be for any dog, German shepherds would be good at this as they are muscular, mainly the spring pole, they have more of a bite force than a pit. But see what they like best
hey man sup um the spring run really helped because my dog can now run 60 km/h its true we checked it on a speed scanner and it was shocking so thank again for the tips.

So I knew I could get her going with me. You helping me annd i see now many more. Thank you so much
Loved the video. Only thing I saw that I didn't like was the chicken leg in the bowl. Gotta take the meat off the bone for chicken. The chicken bone doesn't break in the same manner that pork and beef does. Chicken can turn into shards, that can damage the throat all the way to the intestines.
it's raw .Dogs didn't have us humans taking the meat off the bones for thousands of years and they survived til now .Raw chicken whatever is perfectly fine
CardiacCUSE9!! Orng4lf no it can’t study a raw barf diet and come back to me all My dogs are fed raw chicken with bone since 6 weeks old yes cooked chicken bones are detrimental to a dog
Nice video! Just thought I’d add and say that these exercises are not just for bull breeds. Any breed can do them!! My dog loves the springpole, flirtpole, fetch, weight pull, etc.
Hey buddy, Thumbs up on the video! It's obvious you know what you're talking about. Being in the veterinary field I can not agree with you more about these exercises. The only one that always makes me ponder is the first one you listed, the spring pole. I have used it in the past myself, but it always made me feel uneasy, with the potential injury risk. You most likely have more experience than me with physical fitness training, I guess my question would be; have you ever seen injury with that type of exercise? Would you consider it a highrisk exercise? Again, great advice, it motivates me to start working out my two pups. Thanks Again
I did it with my Yorkie when we had chew toys for her and she would hold on for a really long time it never hurt her even tho it does look like it also p.s. I want to either become a vet or a dog trainer when I grow up I already have a channel that does dog training
I take my red nose on 45 minute walks four times a week and that damn dogs rear hips looks like she has been doing squats for ten years. I'm actually kind of jealous lol.
This is dope. I just became a dog mom today the first time in 10 years and been learning so much about dogs and I am grateful for this video especially since the dog I have been tearing up my aunts furniture and carpets but I’ve been patient with him and want to get him in sync with doing the right thing
That spring pull is a great idea, i used to just tie a rope on a branch and let them chomp on the rope but it may have been to stiff, i could see them having more fun with the bounce. Thanks for info
Good tips! I moved to a home w a backyard thats not as desirable for my pit to run and play like she used to. So now I see a bit of belly flab on her🥴 Ive started 2 mile walks a day so hopefully this will tone her up!
Great video man. They such great dogs, just wish I could own one, but the U.K. government banned American pit-bulls, such a shame. ( David. Essex, U.K. )
I did the walk in circles with the pole trick with my English bull terrier, and he loved it. He enjoyed the hell out of it, he was jumping up grabbing it, it was great and then I got so damn dizzy I walked into my tree and got a big gash in my head, so I had to be careful, so wear a helmet. Of course I’m joking, great video man, I have two English bull terriers, and this video was very informative, one is four and one is three, and I’ve been walking down 4-7 miles a day since they were born, they are very active and will tear shit up if you’re not out there keeping them busy. So I’m going to put this video to work, props to you man thanks for the video👍👍
Awesome video!! Thank you brother. I have a 5 month old tri color merle who I want to bulk up a little. I believe we're going to start with walking and weight pulling. Thank you again
Great Video! I absolutely loved it and smiled and chuckled the whole time. We live in Hawaii and Pit Bulls are the best for this climate. Our Pit swims/hikes a lot. We have had a PitBull die on a hike from heat stroke. So just a reminder, plenty water and shade. These dogs will run themselves to death, simply trying to please you. I hit liked and subscribed, looking forward to your next episode!
3:52 WOOOW that’s so amazing!! I never knew they were capable of that! I found this video looking for something for my boxer. He’s starting to lean out due to an increase in exercise and recent breeding. I’d like to change his diet but his skin allergies are crazy. The vet has him in a Rx hydrolyzed protein food but his paws haven’t improved much... he does itch less though. Great content! I’ll be digging around your channel to find any helpful info!
Great vid :) but for secound exercize is great to buy runin machine" let it inside room or where ever and try to make pet stay there and run ^_^ its hard but i saw it duable, one trainer of dogs, have hes personal who begs to run ^_^
Thank you for sharing. I do not own any Bully breeds, but this is an informative and to-the-point video. With the exception of the Jawly Jumper and swimming, these would be excellent exercises for my Siberian Husky - and practically any other breed of dog, especially those that live in the city/Burbs. :-)
I’m tryna train my golden retriever rn. Got him from a breeder and is like 3+ gens pure bread. I remember since he was small he would always climb onto the couches like a rock climber and noticed dude developed some nice definition and size in his front legs and when we go on walks whenever he gets excited and close to home dude sprints all out while I still give resistance so he don’t pull my ass to the floor but he can move me pretty easy (I’m 260 but I’m not a fat slob, I still work out to stay in shape). He’s only turned 6 months recently and is on the high end in terms of weight for a golden but vet check ups say he’s healthy for his size. Can’t wait to try some of these.
I know its obvious, but boys and gals remember, please pair exercise especially bite force training with behavior training and that. I am not a pro but we have had a lot of foster dogs, including amstiff and rottweilers, never had issues because of good training, but halfway down the street 2 big boys were put down, because of several incidents. Dude only trained bite, like tug of war. Dogs were good but they only played mouth and yea ended up hurting other dogs
Hey brother. Amazing content. You have great potential in this game. We need more creators like you so keeping up and good job brother.

I had a s.b.t and was so fit and muscle bound, and all I done was threw a heavy ball up an incline until he was tired and he's favourite was an old rope over a tree and he'd hang there for ages,,he died of old age but what a breed
I ride a fat bike and my pitbull pulls me uphill with no sweat
Love seeing them non cropped Pitbull ears 😍. Really great video
Can other dogs do these exercises to?
Yes...my boxsr dosenit with our pits
I did everything for my american bully xxl thank you for the muscles
mannn we made the tug of war one for my bullies and they don’t even use it😭😂
Put peanut butter on the target
This breed is amazing! Mine aren’t much when it comes to being guard dogs, but in their spoiled minds their human💕
New dog owner here, would I be able to do these work outs with my German Shepherd or are these pit bull exclusive workouts?
Any dog could do this stuff
These r for all dogs 🐕
German Shepard’s have genetically bad joints I wouldn’t do the weight pulling
How could it be just for pits when title clearly list another breed
Any dog could do this, for the pulling, start he or she out light (I just let my dog pull me, I'm around 100 lbs, in a standard toddler wagon XD) but this could be for any dog, German shepherds would be good at this as they are muscular, mainly the spring pole, they have more of a bite force than a pit. But see what they like best
Love your vids. I’m just starting to train my bully and this helps a lot. Thank you.
hey man sup um the spring run really helped because my dog can now run 60 km/h its true we checked it on a speed scanner and it was shocking so thank again for the tips.
Hey. 1st time.looking to learn some knowledge. 1st time.only me to take care of pit.
She is 2yrs old from beautiful peeps.
And here we go. Your the only one on you tube that I am pulled to to listen. Wood.
Thank you for info on exercises.
She been chained up. Treated good but not to her full expansion...I live in downtown area studio apartment, i walk do not drive.
That’s very good and important to know!
it's raw .Dogs didn't have us humans taking the meat off the bones for thousands of years and they survived til now .Raw chicken whatever is perfectly fine
@@saigoneze4465 even raw the bone can become shards.
CardiacCUSE9!! Orng4lf no it can’t study a raw barf diet and come back to me all
My dogs are fed raw chicken with bone since 6 weeks old yes cooked chicken bones are detrimental to a dog
CardiacCUSE9!! Orng4lf I’ve heard the same about chicken bones so I don’t give them to my dog
This is a good video bro and you're right about it all. Nice video and information with great detail.
Nice video! Just thought I’d add and say that these exercises are not just for bull breeds. Any breed can do them!! My dog loves the springpole, flirtpole, fetch, weight pull, etc.
I'm glad you mentioned the raw diet because no of this really matters if you are feeding your dog kibble
I laughed at opening when you dropped the dumbbell and said now your turn lol
I take my red nose on 45 minute walks four times a week and that damn dogs rear hips looks like she has been doing squats for ten years. I'm actually kind of jealous lol.
This is dope. I just became a dog mom today the first time in 10 years and been learning so much about dogs and I am grateful for this video especially since the dog I have been tearing up my aunts furniture and carpets but I’ve been patient with him and want to get him in sync with doing the right thing
Nice and simple easy to understand best explanation video every watched keep up
Thanks!
I'm watching this for my sighthound. It's critical to build their muscles, but there are no resources! Hoping to get my dog swole. 💪
Thank you for the video it really helps I have a pitbull boxer mix
That spring pull is a great idea, i used to just tie a rope on a branch and let them chomp on the rope but it may have been to stiff, i could see them having more fun with the bounce. Thanks for info
Good tips! I moved to a home w a backyard thats not as desirable for my pit to run and play like she used to. So now I see a bit of belly flab on her🥴 Ive started 2 mile walks a day so hopefully this will tone her up!
Great video man. They such great dogs, just wish I could own one, but the U.K. government banned American pit-bulls, such a shame. ( David. Essex, U.K. )
WOW this was great thank you
I have just found your pages, we have a bully so it's our first one ,I will have a lot two learn as well my regards to you from me in Australia.
Good job brother keep having fun with it
Hey thank you!
Just subscribed to your channel I will use these extra exercises to my American bully keep up the good work my friend
Thank you!
The sprint /run dog looks almost identical to my American bully. My guys nose turned all black from pink. He’s 5yrs old at 136lbs now. I love him.
Great info bro. what should you introduce weighted excise
Great vid :) but for secound exercize is great to buy runin machine" let it inside room or where ever and try to make pet stay there and run ^_^ its hard but i saw it duable, one trainer of dogs, have hes personal who begs to run ^_^
Thank you I just got an American bully she's so beautiful I want her to grow up strong and healthy
That ball game is a great idea!
Lmfao the dog swinging aroung got me weakasf😂😭😂😭😂😭
Beautiful dogs!!! This video was actually very useful, thank you 💯
Thanks bro now i can be jacked
Is it okay for a dog to have a weight vest and what age
This is so awesome I just got a 2 month old bullmassive pit Thank you for doing this
I know its obvious, but boys and gals remember, please pair exercise especially bite force training with behavior training and that.
Spring pull got the dog beaming into space
My cheagle chihuahua mixed with a beagle 😳😳 is super fast he has my apbt nice they run for at least 30 - 60 min a day nice neck shoulders and all
Amazing video! Very informative! Thank you for sharing this.
I’m dying laughing 🤣 can’t wait to do this with my pit bc they look so goofy lol like they having so much fun 😂
Thankyou for the help I already see difference in my structure 🥰
