Sounds like my story. I was convinced something was wrong with my heart for a year straight, from chest pains, super tense neck and back. Pains in hands to numbness in fingers got EKGs, scans and wore a monitor for a weekend. Everything came back Normal the symptoms slowly faded then I started experiencing muscle twitching and am currently battle the idea of illness everyday. It’s a struggle. I have a muscle in my hand that when I squeeze my hand tight it starts to spasm painlessly going on two months. Constantly triggering me
I hope you're doing better mate. Mine started now 6 months ago and im okay. I still twitch and still worry sometimes. But no weakness. I actually ran over 50 miles this month and lift 3x a week!
I've had really really bad infection 4 years ago. I've felt like shit, been doing my blood tests since 4 years and every time I did them, they weren't alarming. Usually I've had indications of ongoing infection. 5 months ago twitching in my legs started to pop up and it made me really really scary, was really scared of ALS and slowly decaying. I've been measuring my weight every day from then, every day looking at those twitches. And also - I've been seeing neurologists, radiologists, infectious disease doctors, but it looked like my health is pretty good from the blood tests. Then I've did vitamin D test and it showed really really low level (high deficiency). And I've been drining a lof of milk last couple of years, which potentially could have caused my calcium to go up (that's why I've had tinitus, now it's getting better). Now I'm suplementing: 20 000 IU of vit D + K2 (thinking about increasing it to 30 000) magnesium vitamin b6, b12 occasionally vit C I'm mostly on Keto and I'm feeling a lot lot better. I guess sometimes infections can cause collateral damage and make your electrolytes imbalanced. I still have those twitches, but I'm feeling like I'm recovering and sometimes healing process can take years! I also do breathing techniques of Wim Hof + started cold showers and they help a lot. I have a fear that it's ALS, but on the other way I think it would have progressed a lot faster. I feel kind of better than 5 months ago. Will post you in couple of months.
Thank you for this video it’s extremely helpful and calming to hear a story that is almost exactly the same as mine. Started with heart palpitations last year and this year it’s developed into muscle twitching and itching all over my body. Have seen multiple doctors including a neurologist who all said my strength is good and everything is fine but Dr Google made me not believe them. I’ve been terrified for weeks that I had ms or als, but have been trying to test my strength everyday to reassure myself I’m good and trying to tell myself I really don’t know shit compared to a doctor and need to believe them. Been baby steps but slowly getting better each day and videos like yours really help put things into perspective! 🙏🏻 thank you!
It’s been one year for me that I started with a twitch in my bicep and googled it and then it spread all over my body .I was having them every couple seconds in the beginning and now they slowed down but still have them daily .I’m about to start the process of finding out what it could be .I’m in Houston to by the way .
@@thejalba I never had this shit before .I got covid in the end of December 2021 and these twitches started in the end of January.it’s been a year and your not lying about being in a dark place
I’ve had muscle weakness, twitches, and dizziness and intense pain in my back for 4 months, doctors haven’t found anything yet but these are real physical symptoms which are very scary. I can’t exercise even if I wanted to. So I don’t know what to do.
Mine health anxiety related to als started even before the challenge when I watched the movie "About Jennifer" and it scared me 10000 times more than any horror movie I've ever watched. I had also dark times, twitching, subjective "weakness" and all. I've been on medications and just when I thought I was kind of free, because I wasn't that obsessed for several years, I got a damn twitch on my shoulder. I am prone to hot spots so I though it will go away, but it didn't, freaking damn thing is still there, for more than weeks now, twitching and I am in a really dark place now. It even started showing on my other hot spots like quads near knee, thumbs and random places. Of course, I went to doctor but he dismissed it because it appeared after really minor injury during workout. I live pretty healthy life, I sleep a lot, I work out, maybe I drink a bit too much coffee. I started googling again, and I am really really bad now. Of course, twitching is only getting worse, and I heard now so many incredibly sad and scary stories about people who have or had it that I am out of my mind. I stopped cleaning, my apartment is dirty dump, I am slacking at work, I stopped talking to people, I am just sinking. I don't know what to do anymore. I stopped even exercising because I am afraid if it is an injury it will make it worse, and last longer but on the other hand, working out helped me mentally a lot! this is getting out of control and I don't know what to do.
@@thejalba do you still have twitching? And cramps or stiffness? I’ve been in the hole for 8 months now. Still trying to shake it but feel like it’s getting worse
Als is a horror diciase, no cure, ineficient treatment. Stop all your muscle body and you not more move and eat. In final you can't breathe and die. Expectation live is 2-5 year. Is a worst deciase that exist to me.
I’m getting the twitches on side of my head in my temples too! Feeling, lightheaded, dizzy, unbalanced, nervous
Thank you so much for making this video! You stopped me from spiralling! I needed this today.
I am happy you found the video and it brought you some peace.

I think it’s food and stress related for me. When I have more caffeine than normal I feel them coming on more.
What part of Houston?

How long did this gone on and how did you overcome it ?
It's been going on and off for about 2 years. Some days are better than others.
