The Mamas & the Papas were a great folk rock group in the 60's. I had their records. They were known for their smooth harmonies. They had lots of great hits such as "Monday, Monday", "Words Of Love", "Dancing In The Street", "Look Through My Window", "Creeque Alley", "Twelve Thirty (Young Girls Are Coming to the Canyon)", "Safe In My Garden", "I Saw Her Again" etc. Mama Cass Elliot went solo & had a big hit with "Dream A Little Dream Of Me".
It's funny seeing these old videos and realizing that as pretty as Michelle Phillips was in 1966, she was so much more beautiful when she was on Knot's Landing in the late 1980's in her mid-40's. Her and Barbara Eden practically invented MILF-dom.

I am sick and tired of people taking our records and acting like it’s theirs. This record was originally made in 1960 by the Shirelles.
I like this version better. I don’t care that “they” took “our” music anymore than I did when Whitney Houston “took” theirs. ✊🏽
