On my website there are hundreds of meal prep, snack, and macro friendly dessert recipes that I have developed over the years. There are no targeted ads, no pointless life stories and endless scrolling to get to the ingredient list, just the recipes. I have a subscription based model where Gold Members have access to every recipe on the site, which is under $5/month with annual memberships. If that's not your thing, there is also a Silver level membership that is free for life, still ad free, and you get access to more than 40% of the recipes. Registering to become a member, whether that is a Gold or Silver (free) member, is the best way you can help support what I do. I appreciate all of you more than you know 😎

Oats, peanuts, cocoa? This is mostly plants so I consider this a vegetable.
❤❤❤
You are correct this is a vegetable
My kind of salad, for sure!
@@palehorse1511 the milk is just dressing. Now we're reality bending.
The sneak chocolate chip grab in the reflection of the microwave was a cinematic masterpiece
White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cliff bar: 260 calories and 9 g of protein.
Josh Cortis Chocolate Chip Protein Cookie: 264 calories with 17 g of protein.
Plus with the added benefit of it being a much cheaper option compared to buying Cliff bars from the store.
Just made this now. Was not expecting that texture. Was great. 🎉
Glad you liked it 😎
Just made this with some old Casein powder I had in the cupboard, the texture is a bit different than expecting but it really does have that nice cookie flavor. Real simple and quick, thank you it was tasty!
For anyone wondering if the gold membership for TMPM is worth the price, it is. There's so many extra recipes and you don't have to scroll through a bunch of garbage to find the recipe. It's well worth the money.
Josh is easily the greatest youtube channel ever
thank you 😎
So convenient and the texture with whey isn’t bad, more like a mug cake. For around 200 calories using PB2 (and a bit less almond milk, 40g) hoped it would be slightly more filling, so as you say, 1 for just finishing off a meal with something sweet. Will be checking out more of your videos 😊
I love this as a snack right before bed. I sleep best when I have a bit of protein and some non caffeinated tea in me and this has been helping me a lot since watching the video. I was worried the sugar would keep me up but it hasn't.
Glad to see the microwave protein cookie getting a dedicated video. Been a staple night time snack for me for the past 7 months.
Just made this with a while bunch of substitutes:
Oat flour (ground old fashioned oats myself)
Vanilla whey powder
Ground peanuts (a mix of salted & the last of my unsalted)
Almond milk + evaporated milk (to bump up the almond milk; W. Africans everywhere have evaporated milk in the cupboard)
Cocoa powder
The cocoa powder took down the sweetness but I like the resulting flavor. The only issue was texture: microwaved for about 5.5 min, but maybe the resulting cookie is down to my microwave being 1,200W. Cookie pulled away from sides of the glass bowl and is somewhere btw a crunchy bar and a brownie. Drizzled some almond milk to soften it and it's actually pretty good. Next time I'll microwave for less time on 80% power
I was curious so I tried it since I had all the stuff on hand, although I only had whey protein. Surprisingly good and while the texture wasn’t what I would expect of a cookie it wasn’t bad, kind of like a cross between a cookie and cake.
Will also be joining this weekend, I’ve been tempted lately while looking at some of the older recipients so the sale is the perfect opportunity.
Nice tip about taring and weigh the jar!
After you said you were gonna make it 25 for the year and I was gonna join. Then you did the fight club insert and I died. I'm definitely joining. Thanks for what you do man.
Dude Merry Christmas. It's the 26th in my country, so a bit late but still Merry Christmas. May this season be full of light and laughter for you and your family😁
My 700w micwave took about 1:45 to cook fully. Used pb2 choc flavor as well. Came out amazing
May i ask, did you use casein or not?
@@WinterPompano99 muscle milk pro series vanilla whey.
Easily one of the best protein (microwave) desserts I've tried 🔥
Finally bought casein and this is the first thing i made. It was delicious. Added some vanilla extract and salt to it was great, cinnamon might help bring it out too. Would like to try it with PB powder
Josh, my macros are perfect. So dialed in that I had the perfect surplus for slow gain. Now I eat 3 microwave cookies every night on top of it
Got a fresh and save for xmas. Let snack city begin
Let’s gooooo
Yo the reverse tare!!!! This guy is teaching things. Never thought to do that.
Hey Josh, I recommend trying out potstickers for snack city.
YO I JUST MADE THIS AND IT IS ACTUALLY SO GOOD. I used black coca and chocolate protein and it taste like a chocolate cake
Is there an alternative for peanut butter which isn't peanut related?
Added a serving of halo top ice cream on top of this, and made a pizookie. Completely levels up an already tasty recipe!
I made your cinnamon rolls for Christmas. They were insanely good.
I swapped out all the corn starch for oat flour that I had blended with chia seeds and then added a pinch of xantham gum. Both ingredients get the dough to thicken and adhere to itself in place of the starch (which half of the recipe by weight being corn starch seemed like a LOT imo). Oh and then used stevia-based brown sugar.
The family loved it!
Glad you liked them 😎
Man of the people
Definitely going to try this, and I'll take advantage of your membership discount.
Food for thought: If you want to entice people to take advantage of the membership discount, have it be active when the video goes up. I'm lucky because I just have to wait until tomorrow but conceivably someone who saw this four days ago might've completely forgotten about it while waiting for Dec 30.
Anyways, great content as always. Thanks for all you do - I made your adobo chicken and turkey-sweet potato bowls this week and they're awesome!
That's what iPhone/Android reminders are for :P
I set mine about two weeks ago and I was going to sign up and saw the sale coming up, LOL!
Made this for me and my son (he is 3) we loved it he devourd it thanks!
Breakfast here I come!🎉
I like to eat these for breakfast on my low carb/high protein day. It makes me feel like I'm cheating a bit, but still staying within my daily macros.
For things like this i like to use a blend of the whey/casein. There is a great matrix blend that is 55/45 and works well for baking and cooking.
You know what would be an awesome feature for RUclips creators? If you could see a timeline of when your video got likes. The moment you pulled out the whey just to try, you instantly got a like. Great video.
Bro this is so fire 🔥🔥 keep it up
Man of the people! 🙂
I'm gonna try Quest's baking mix protein and see how the results turn out.
Just had dinner... and it was this plus a hot chocolate. Delicious.
The mad man did it
lol
Hahaha, loved this video Josh! I have been (impatiently!) counting down the days until your sale! Not that you don't deserve $50 vs $25, I almost signed up anyway because I wish you success and love, love, love what you are doing! Still, $25 is $25, LOL! Boom! Today I became a member and can't wait to explore the recipes! Thank you for your real, candid and entertaining videos. Resist the temptation many "RUclipsrs" do to "sensationalize" your videos.
The jokes in between the seriousness is on point
hm, so if you like casein better for baking, why do you rec whey for the baked oatmeal? have you tried using casein instead and it just didnt work that well for that?
i think its because the rolled oats provide enough strutual mesh to stay solid after baking because its whole oats, but with alt flours the casin acts similar to gluten to give its strength and substance, so i think the whey in baked oatmeal is just for the macros or it makes it too hard.
It doesn’t really make a difference for the baked oatmeal. I think casein is better but i write those to have whey because more people have whey available
As someone who's tried both types with the oatmeals, replacing a scoop with casein (or adding an extra scoop alongside a little more milk) helps retain moisture and results in a more cake-like texture that I do think is better and honestly recommend, but whey does still work just fine.
i tried this earlier today it was delicious
Yummy. Just made it and it’s awesome. Like oatmeal but better
A little bit of cinnamon and some flaky salt at the end and I just entered fancy town!
Could I use all whey but add xantham gum?
I'm just as surprised the whey "worked" :-) Good stuff!
Wonder if pb2 is useable here
Welp this is going to be my breakfast, lunch and dinner everytime I am too lazy to do groceries for actual food
lol i've made it 4 times in the past 3 days
Can you taste the peanut butter? Dont like Peanut butter. either way thank you for the recipie
try almond or sunflower butter
I don’t think you can
Alright Josh its in the microwave now! I shall post my review shortly!
Can I make a ton of the batter, store it and just microwave anytime I want a cookie?
Can you taste the peanut butter in the final cookie?
Hey does anyone know of a good substitute for peanut butter in this recipe I'm allergic?
I saw some different recipes, but they were using *pumpkin seed butter or sunflower seed butter,* instead of peanut butter (I can't eat peanuts either). So using this recipe, as above, but substitute in a different "butter" would work, I'd think. Haven't tried it yet. Got to get some sunflower seeds and "food process" them to make the "butter" first...
Great video!
have you tried adding in a zero calorie sweetener? just curious
Good content, good cookie, you gut my sub!
I watch every video you put out but guess I missed you had a website that people can become members on! Absolutely gunna take advantage of that sale 👏🏻
Would I be able to use almond flour?
Is the protein powder gluten free?
I'm sure you can get some; where the protein powder is made completely from non gluten ingredients. Maybe do an internet search in your region?
Would calcium caseinate work as well as micellar casein?
No it won’t work probably at all
Do you think Pea Protein (Vegan) would come out okay?
i have a question. iwhat if we make a lot and just made spheres of it then pop it in the microwave? would it still be okay?
it may dry out easier
@@TheMealPrepManual thx boss
What if you dont have a microwave?
I’ll try this recipe as soon as possible. It’s always nice to be able to have a snack that’s at least healthier than other shit you get off the grocery shelf.
I know I’m repeating myself, but I think you should charge more for your meal prep manual. Just saying. I hope other people don’t crucify me lol.
Haha thank you 😎
@@TheMealPrepManual just got back from the gym and going to try that cookie recipe
@josh Cortis yum yum yum (your words) 😬😬😬
Have you been interested in looking into the ninja creami?
I have but the name alone has kept me from buying it hahaha terrible name
Any alternative to peanut butter for allergies
Sunflower seed butter should do the trick, it may alter the flavor a bit but the people I know with nut allergies substitute with it and it always works.
Almond butter? Idk if your allergies will still activate for that or not
Would there not be more that 17g of protein usually one scoop of protein has at leaste 20 grams then you have the milk that has protein into it ?
It’s not a full scoop, only 12g
I think I’ve made a discovery. Using coconut flour even when the whey still give it a more battery and the chocolate chips stay at the top
Alternative to peanut butter for the deathly allergic?
butter would work
I appreciate this, being that I spend way to much cash on quest cookies.
Just made these! Tasted great! Planning on using a PEScience Whey-Casein blend with an Oreo for topping next time 🤌🏾
I'm a current gold member of your site - your vast recipe catalog is actually very worth what I get out of it. Am I able to sign up for $25 to extend my current membership? Or do I have to throw away the remainder of my current one?
Thank you for your support and the kind words 😎 and yes, if you sign up during the sale it will extend your current expiration date by 1 year 👍👍
@@TheMealPrepManual Perfect, thanks!
Any ideas on how to do this without peanut butter or PB2? The smell of peanut butter makes me ill.
butter works
@@TheMealPrepManual thanks!
Whey back into milk... isn't that milk?
would love to see a giant batch of these done for those of us on higher calorie diets
Now all we need is a app
The best substitute for casein is a vegan protein
I don’t believe that’s the case
@@TheMealPrepManual maybe not but I always had the same result as casein
Swapped the milk with oat milk and peanut butter with butter like you suggested. Also the casein for pea protein and added a bit of agave syrup …turned out great! Thanks this is a great recipe for the weekend.
Have you tried milk substitutes? Like soy or almond milk?
I haven't. I only drink cow's milk
I used almond milk in mine. Sweeted vanilla almond milk. Came out just fine
@@CapELarry I don't use dairy protein powder.
Wow! New sub here! I recently made Chocolate Chip Cookies on my page too and *your dish looks amazing!* Hope to stay connected! 😁
Man, I actually really enjoy these desserts and snacks but holy fuck is protein expensive.
I think a smash banana would help the whey version
How about a 40g protein cookie?
You could double the recipe
When u try all there micro wave cookie things they end up behind soggy and like a sad pancake
Dont know what I’m doing wrong
Only have almond flour left hopefully that works
If you have any baking powder you may need a little of that to help with leavening
Could use soy milk if you want less calories
Great content. Subscribed and joined club to support thanks and keep them coming!
Your house looks nice. House tour sometime?
Thank you 🙏 if you go to my Q&A video from a few weeks back there is a little tour in there
Hello
I come from thesmithplays
just made three of these in an hour
Rather bake it.
What how did I get here I was watching cod zombies
I HATE THE FACE REVEAL! I'M GONNA RIOT!
Hahaha this isn’t even close to the first time though
I'm surprised you're using store bought PB. I can't tell what brand you're using but they are usually full of sugar and palm oil. I make homemade PB with peanuts and sea salt only.
I think homemade peanut butter tastes bad. The sugar in peanut butter is one of the things I like about it
The United States government? Were you military?
At 22g carbs (88 calories), 17g protein (68 calories), and 14g fat (126 calories), this cookie is NOT a protein cookie because it's higher in calories from carbs....and SIGNIFICANTLY higher in calories from fat...than from protein. It might taste decent, but it definitely doesn't qualify as a "protein cookie."
Never trust "cooks" who say '1 Tablespoon,' but use an eating tablespoon rather than an actual MEASURING tablespoon. They don't actually hold the same amount. Same for an eating teaspoon as opposed to an actual MEASURING teaspoon.
🤣
It’s a cookie, not a chicken breast
